I just love Brooker's! It offers an amazing and unabashed commitment to an admittedly silly premise. There are tons of different chocolate flavors with mix-ins. I love chunky ice cream with a chocolate base, but most ice cream parlors only offer a few flavors like that. Brooker's probably has five or six! The best one is the Thomas Jefferson, which is salted chocolate with two kinds of cookie dough mixed in. It is amazing! I've never been to this location before, but the service was great, even though it was a holiday (the Fourth). This location is much roomier than the Provo but just as charming with the old-fashioned decor!

Tons and tons of cool choices to choose from. Almost too many. Great service and nice place to sit done and enjoy some ice cream.

I love ice cream but also choose my calories wisely so I only eat the high quality ice cream. Happened upon here, having never heard of this place before. I travel a lot and try out new ice cream shops when I do. This honestly is in the top 2 or 3 ice creams I've ever had.

Give me Chocolate or Give me Death. How can you not love an ice cream with that name? And trust me, if you want chocolate, that's the one you have to try, in a chocolate waffle cone dipped in chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. Yes, I just said all that. And I ate it. All of it. DON'T YOU JUDGE ME! IT WAS AWESOME! I'll do it again, too! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the place was clean, the ice cream was excellent. Stop on in.

I think its really hard to find good food spots here in Utah but this one exceeded my expectations. I only have good things to say about this place. Not only the interior and the worker's costumes are really cool, they are also very friendly and knowledgeable of their products. They let me try so many flavors and oh gosh, the black raspberry was freakin good!!

This restaurant has such a fun ambiance. Everything is colonial themed, including a lot of the staffs uniforms. 50% of the staff was dressed in colonial gear and the other half were just dressed regularly - LOL. The ice creams all have clever colonial themed names. This ice cream is really rich and creamy! Definitely tasty and good quality. It was a little pricey for the quantity in my opinion but quality does make up somewhat for that. The menu was very large so I'd definitely like to go back and try some of the other things they have to offer!

I'm dairy and gluten free. They had a sorbet and a chocolatey chunky ice cream but I didn't love all the chunks in the chocolate and wasn't in a sorbet mood. They have plenty of GF diary based ice creams. I bought my friends 2 different pint flavors and asked for their opinions. One of my friends loves rocky road and they had one similar but she said it was still different. The other one I got was aa salted Carmel cookie flavor. He said it was good and creamy but the chunks were a little too big for him. I hadn't shared my thoughts about the DF / GF ice cream until he said that. I do love their story and how fresh everything is and how they make whatever they are able to make. And the staff was so nice! The girl that helped me did her mission in Austin and I live in Dallas / Fort Worth so there was that texas connection. I'd go back if they have different flavors for GF / DF and I'd probably bring my friends next time so they can pick their favorite flavors.

I've never met employees more thrilled to be serving ice cream !! And wear these costumes! Hahaha this place is an immersive experience. The flavors are so diverse and all pretty delicious. Paul revered midnight ride is my go-to. I also love the butter cake ice cream. They play colonial music which is a little much but it adds to the experience. Don't think this place could exist anywhere but Utah....

Pricey but fun! They make shakes, scoops or employees are friendly and the shop is clean.

If you love ice cream, this is the place for you. Their high quality ice cream comes in many flavors, all named after figures of the American Revolution. I like that they have some lesser known ones, such as James Armistad and Deborah Sampson. They also offer drinking chocolate so thick and rich it's like drinking a melted candy bar.

Brooker's Founding Flavors ice cream is seriously the best ice cream EVER! The texture, flavor, and everything about it surpasses all ice cream I have tried in my entire life. I've been going here for a while and now have my favorite flavors: Give Me Chocolate or Give me Death, Crispus Atticus First Patriot Casualty Speculoos, James Armistead Double Spy Undercover, Paul Revere's Midnight Ride, and Monroe's Marshmallow. I haven't tried a flavor I don't like. This is a fun place to visit with the Patriotic theme intertwined into everything you see including the ice cream flavor names, decor, and outfits the employees wear. And my secret is, if you buy 4 pints online it's cheaper than getting them at their store and I think the ice cream tastes even better this way! If you like ice cream you will LOVE Brooker's!

Umm what!? This place is one of the best establishments I've ever stepped foot in - including Disneyland. But seriously.. never have I had such a fantastical I've cream experience in all my days. I don't think I'll ever get ice cream anywhere else ever again. This place is phenomenal in every way. They have taken ice cream to the next level. Do not throw away your shot - go partake ASAP. The "setting" here is revolutionary times. All their flavors are named after founding fathers and figures who played a role in America's revolution. Maybe you're craving some "Give me chocolate or give me death." Perhaps Rob Chernow has inspired you to partake of "Alexander Hamilton's not throwing away my scoop." My personal favorite was "Abigail Adams salted crack cookie advice." John Hancock's signature mint was one of the best mint ice cream that was ever spawned. See, it's a ice cream parlor, but you also get a history lesson on the greatest country in the world. Win-win! My wife and I went with another couple. We sat there and ate ice cream and then talked for 3 HOURS. Seriously. Everything from the ice cream flavors, to the taste, to the creativity, to the employees wearing 3-cornered hats, to the ambiance, to the music playing (what's up Lin Manuel Miranda) was above and beyond. This place will have me coming back time and time again. And that's saying a lot cause I'm not a big sweets person. 50 stars for Brooker's Ice Cream. See ya next time!

Best ice cream in Utah with fun names and mouthwatering combinations. Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, and Paul Revere are regular go-tos.

Ask the Community - Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream

I've been living out of Utah the past year. I'm afraid I'll get a response I don't like, but do they have any non-dairy options?

Yes. They have a dairy free (may be vegan) death by chocolate that my lactose intolerant wife loves. They also have at least 1 other option as well. Totally worth going.

At least we ended the night on a good note! If you get the ``jar'' size, you get a nice classy mason jar with a handle to take home. It was such a good portion, three of us were easily able to split it: 16oz of biskoff ice cream, nutella/sprinkle rim, and freshly baked brownie that they cut from their tray and placed up top. It wasn't crazy expensive either, maybe around $17 with tip, which for a dessert so massive and satisfying that a party of 3 can split it, it was really reasonably priced. The clerks were also really cool and helpful. After we finished eating, they even traded us our sticky empty jar for a clean one, so that we could take it home without getting the car all gross lol. Much appreciated! Definitely would go back any time in Provo.

The Coconut Pistachio didn't have much pistachio flavor--mostly coconut--but it was still refreshing. The Fudge Chocolate was the standout for me: rich, smooth, and satisfying without being overly sweet. One thing I really appreciate is that you get to sample flavors before buying. It's super helpful if you're indecisive or just curious about something new. I went around 5 on a Saturday, and thankfully it wasn't crowded, so I didn't feel rushed. The server was super friendly and helpful--patient with questions and generous with samples, which made the experience even better. Inside, they've got some games on the tables, which adds a fun, laid-back vibe. It's a great spot for date nights or casual hangouts. I'd definitely come back to try more flavors, especially if the BOGO deal is still going.
