I've never been to the Creamery before, but I will definitely come back! I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was quite tasty. There are a few different stations with condiments and other sandwich toppings (including fry sauce), so it's a bit much to navigate, but it allows you to top your sandwich however you like. I also stole a few fries from my daughter, and they were delicious. After dinner, we got ice cream. I tried the chocolate Graham Canyon--two thumbs up! We also bought a few other things (cookies and cream milk, chocolate chip banana bread), and everything was yummy. The wait is very long for both food and ice cream, and somehow there aren't enough tables (even though there are a lot of them). It's quite crowded, too. But it's a fun and cheerful space, and it seems like a spectacular spot for students on campus to meet up and have fun. read more

Wow. This new Creamery has really upgraded the experience. Same great ice cream, but more workers mean the lines move faster. Same grill. Same grocery except it is larger and more a legit complete grocery store. Some departments are smaller than a regular grocery store, like the produce section, but still offers plenty. The outdoor patio seating is great. Heating lamps for cold days and they have misters installed for the hot days. Nice lights for evenings and nights. Parking is still a big challenge. More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk. At this visit I had the raspberry cream cheese--it was really good! And of course, I had to buy two bottles of Cookies and Cream milk to take home. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Hype is real with this place. My boyfriend and I stopped here before the BYU lacrosse game. Parking was definitely difficult to find (I mean, it was a Saturday), and the layout was a little confusing inside to find the ice cream line. But, the line went by pretty quick. The ice cream flavors were pretty good--wide variety. Prices were great for the portion size, too. I got a single scoop (with a free cone!) of graham canyon. UGH. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! This place has been on my list to check out forever, but since I'm rarely in the area I haven't had a chance to stop by. Luckily I was hiking nearby and needed a treat afterwards. This is a whole convenience/grocery store which I didn't realize until walking in. There are two lines for food - one for burgers/fries etc, and the other just for ice cream. They have a bunch of flavors! I tried a taster of the graham canyon which was delicious, and ended up getting the mint brownie. My single scoop serving was huge and came with a cone. It was really yummy! The service here was a little odd. There were a ton of people working behind the counter but everyone seemed very confused and it wasn't very efficient. There is a great energy to this newly expanded location, beckoning friends to gather inside, on the expanded, covered and well lit patio. Can't wait for the original building to make way for the larger parking lot. The creamery ice cream is rich, smooth, flavorful, and quite popular. We have several favorite flavors including roasted almond fudge, graham canyon (I think their most popular), coconut joy (can't resist its fudge ripple), and Lavell's vanilla. We like so many others, but those are our personal top. They introduced new round packaging earlier this year. They milk is also great. It is the only brand we buy. The chocolate milk is with the thick richness. Something to savor and lift your spirits. Of course they have their high quality heavy cream. There is always the produce and grocery goods that help the students and is great for a last minute need for those who live in the neighborhood. And with this new store, everything is significantly expanded and the prices are competitive with local grocery stores. This gem has now become Crown Jewels. Have you been to the new creamery yet? What an upgrade! It's so clean and bright inside and even has its own self checkout. I love that it is large enough to house BYU's ever growing student population now. The prices felt a bit high on the grocery side but the ice cream/grill side felt like normal. I got a pralines and carmel and it didn't disappoint! But please know the lines move fast and be prepared when you are being helped. One other note is that they have trash can outside that opens automatically when you near it but if someone threw away their trash before you it takes 20 seconds for it to register a new person. If you just walk back to the parking lot there's normal trash cans everywhere else. read more

I'm not a huge fan of wrecking my insides during the week but the weekends it gets crazy! I hit up the BYU creamery and ordered "mint brownie", I'm a fan of the ice cream here, it feels and tastes like real ice cream should! This is not some cysco reheat joint. The only thing holding me back from five stars is the lack of seating. Every time I have gone, the joint is absolutely packed. Finding a seat is a cutthroat task. My dining companion pointed out that there is plenty of outdoor seating, but it is January in Utah. So the outdoor seating is not to even be considered as an option. The ambience was a bit alarming though. The tables weren't wiped down properly, and you can see the grime on the table tops, on the chairs, and on the floor. They have toppings you can add to your ice cream as well. There isn't much seating inside and it doesn't seem like they clean the ice cream serving area or the table area that often. The ice cream itself is good quality and tasty. I got the graham canyon with hot fudge on top and my husband got the mint goggles! What can I say about the inside... if you have been here than you know it's a unique place! The staff are always nice and friendly. They smiled and seem happy to help. They are even good about admitting when they messed up an order.
