This is a fun place and reasonably priced for the quality of ice cream. The service was superb! Our server gave us ordering tips, suggestions, and even fun facts about the ice cream. The restaurant is beautifully decorated complete with a pillory. The ice cream was amazing!

Adorable shop with legit the best ice cream I've probably ever had. The servers are dressed in colonial garb and are super friendly! With stocks in the back (lift and drop carefully) colonial chairs and tables and "candles" on the wall in the bathroom... it's a fun and inviting stop for ice cream. Any time we are in Provo, my family and I will be back! Also, the toilet made me chuckle. Also also, I'm totally going to look up some of the colonial heroes and villains from the ice cream flavors, that I'm unfamiliar with. One more thing - this place is in no way racist. They love everybody and have worked to represent that in their ice cream while keeping with the period. Don't let one unobservant customer keep you from trying this spot. It's great.

Fun ice cream spot! The theme is cute. I was bummed out to realize that one of my favorite flavors is now seasonal instead of a regular (even though it's still on the menu on their website! The heartbreak. See you in winter peppermint.) The give me chocolate or give me death is awesome. I even tried the vegan version for fun, and I liked the coconut they used to replace the dairy. It was like a rich chocolate coconut sorbet. My little one loved the cotton candy flavor which was waaaay to sweet for me, and she had very patriotic sprinkles aged too. Husband enjoyed the strawberry guava sorbet.

This place really hits the marks in good quality, ice cream service and friendly atmosphere. Your hot chocolate we just learned is the best in town.

I LOVE Brooker's Ice Cream! It's such a fun place to visit and enjoy the best dessert! Their ice cream is THE BEST ice cream I've had in my life! The taste, texture, and flavors are incredible. I especially love Give me chocolate or give me death and Crispus Attuck's First Patriot Casualty Speculoos. The staff is so friendly and I've met the owners and they are incredible people! I keep coming back to Brooker's because it's so good!

We ordered the black raspberry and the other flavour with graham crackers. Unfortunately, the graham cracker flavour made with a different butter had a powdery texture. Although the flavor was good, the texture made it disappointing. I also tried the black raspberry and thought it was a nice fruit flavour. However, it was definitely a little sweet for me. I feel like Brookers did not have any outstanding flavours, as nothing particularly appealed to me. COVID-19 Rating: This place in Provo is chaotic. Everyone is standing in front of each other and walking back and forth to try out the samples. This should not be happening. Also, why are there even samples? Additionally, the tables marked 'not available' had people sitting on it, therefore making social distancing impossible. The staff clearly saw them as they were in front of the front desk, but did nothing.

Dearest Admiral Yelp, Tonight was an especially thrilling evening amongst these cold winter days. I didn't know if we'd survive a voyage into the main square with the current pandemic raging in the colony, but we made the dangerous trek anyway. Needless to say we survived, but this letter is to tell you about the new tavern in town called "Brooker's Founding Flavors." All the novelties are named after famous men and women shrouded in politics. Some of the names are to be revered, much like their flavors, and some are to be reviled, unlike their flavors. You see, no matter who the flavors are named after, they are all a delicious revelation! Much like this new invention "indoor plumbing". We dared to try the drinking chocolates and were much pleased with their flavor and richness! The Aztec chocolate wasn't my favorite because to me it tasted like oregano, but to my husband, it was a true delight. I took more favor with the salted caramel, which was tantalizingly sweet and rich. Because of their richness, one drink is enough to share. Despite Covid, I mean small pox, raging through our precious newborn nation, we will journey back to this delightful establishment at the nearest opportunity, and pray we find good parking the next time. Send my love to the troops. I await your next letter with baited breath. All my affection, Shannon

Not only some of the best ice cream I've tasted but also the best drinking chocolate in the state. I've made my way around the state tasting ice cream and chocolate, and I always find my way back to Brookers. The owners are super sweet folks with a deep passion for what they do and create. With that, you know it's going to be a magical experience if you give it the chance. May I HIGHLY recommend the Drinking Chocolate Floats. That's an authentic drinking chocolate with a scoop of any flavor ice cream. The options are endless between their 13 hot chocolate flavors and many many ice cream flavors. I truly fell in love with a few below: Pennsylvania drinking chocolate with: 1) Thomas Paine's Peppermint 2) Gingerbread Man 3) Bananas Foster 4) George Masons Peanut Butter 5) Give me Chocolate or Give me Death (for the true chocoholic) You are not living life to the fullest until you've tried one of these. Deliciously decadent and perfect.

An interesting concept that works. 3.8 stars, is that a thing? LOL…read more This location is pretty cool. Nice layout and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. (Gotta use "chill" and "cool" when talking about an ice cream place, right?) Just by the entrance and under the stair case is a comfy cubby with two or three high rise tables and chairs. A cozy place to eat your ice cream with a nice window view of the entryway and the street. Then there is the upstairs. You go up a long spiral staircase (there's a landing halfway up) to go to the upper room. Pretty cool. Good view of the Provo Temple across the street. Fun place to eat your ice cream. The employee was not only friendly but you could tell she enjoyed her job. She had fun every time she had to make the ice cream. She told you all about it, too. So on the to ice cream. I had a mix in from the menu, Key Lime pie. Lime-flavored ice cream with bits of cheesecake and something else. It was OK, but I bordered on not liking it. It didn't remind of Key lime pie. But the texture was dense. That's what they are proud of. This process does not stir air into the mixture so it is much more dense than regular ice cream. And not only that, you get a lot of it. The small size cup is really huge! I'm not a fan of the texture. I like a good creamy, smooth ice cream. And while it makes you feel like you are getting more for your money, while not bad, the experience is not a good as a creamy ice cream or gelato. It's ice cream. And it's dense. Very dense. Still Ice cream, though, but very dense. It's not bad. Just not my jam. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I thought it was also nice that they had dietary restriction friendly options for those who are keto, gluten free, or vegan. I actually ended up trying one of the sugar free options because the flavors sounded really yummy! I wasn't in the mood for a heavy loaded up cup, but those looked incredible too. I stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon and the space was pretty quiet and chill. The staff members were so incredibly kind and helpful when I was making my decision. They also made it really easy to transport back home. I ended up going with the sugar free butter toffee. This was the first time I've seen sf options at an ice cream shop and unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. For the most part my experience with sugar free options has been great, but this was completely devoid of any flavor. I'm almost wondering if the sf flavors are a gimmick to make you feel like you're choosing, when in actuality they just whip up cold milk. Part of the experience is they make the ice cream in front of you, but aside from adding a little stevia I'm not sure what all went into my ice cream. When I got home and tried a scoop it just tasted like whole milk. I was super disappointed because I got a large! I'm torn between giving the sf option another shot or just writing it off forever. It was my first time trying Sub Zero, so I'm sad this was my first impression. Besides the flavorless taste, the texture is fun and almost reminds me a little of dippin dots. Overall, torn on my decision to try this place again or not. There's so many good dessert options around, so I guess we'll see. I still think it's a place you should try at least once, but order the sf options at your own risk!

There are a few different stations with condiments and other sandwich toppings (including fry sauce), so it's a bit much to navigate, but it allows you to top your sandwich however you like. We also bought a few other things (cookies and cream milk, chocolate chip banana bread), and everything was yummy. The wait is very long for both food and ice cream, and somehow there aren't enough tables (even though there are a lot of them). It's quite crowded, too. The Rockwell Road was not as interesting as the menu made it seem. It tasted like rich dark chocolate icecream, but still solid nevertheless. I was afraid it might've been three heavy choices, but they were all delicious. The only downside is that I hate how they pile one flavor on top of the next, so you have to work through one layer/flavor before getting to the next. It wasn't crazy expensive either, maybe around $17 with tip, which for a dessert so massive and satisfying that a party of 3 can split it, it was really reasonably priced.
