I started the MLT (medical lab tech) program at the Phoenix Campus in August 2019 and graduated in December 2020. I'm 30, and was making a career change. I've done my fair share of school, having degrees from ASU and having done many courses at a variety of local community colleges. Brookline College is a private school but it functions just the same as any of these other schools, they still have standards they have to meet to be accredited for these programs. I highly suggest taking the time to talk with the advisor, and if you can, the program director or an instructor from your program, to review your prerequisites and where you need to start to be successful. When I met with my advisor and one of the core instructors, we discussed which classes I could skip because I transferred in course work from past schooling. This was helpful in decreasing some of the expenses and got me straight into the core classes of the program, but I highly recommend you talk it out so you know exactly what you are paying for, and are prepared for the workload. I also recommend being honest and direct and discussing how you are gonna juggle working full-time (if you need to) and going to school full-time. It can be VERY difficult to do both at the same time, but I knew people who were going to school part-time, or worked out options with the program director to work with their work schedule. **Discuss these hurdles before signing up and starting your program! The MLT program was tough and required a lot of outside studying. These health programs require a lot of effort to be properly prepared to sit for the certification exams, but this school and their instructors do prepare you for success. The MLT program in particular, has been growing and some fantastic teachers with many years of experience have come on board. I found these teachers to be super supportive, responsive, and helpful whenever students were struggling. Even during covid, the program director worked to make sure we didn't have to take a pause in our program, and I was even able to do my externship during covid (and at a great facility), and graduate on time. My externship site even offered me a job before I finished my program! After graduating in December 2020, I took two months to study for the ASCP exam (while working part time), took my test in March 2021 and passed, then had a job offer from a local hospital that I applied to, by mid April 2021. Almost immediately after I graduated, the school's career development coordinator was reaching out to me about fixing up my resume, sending me job postings and even referring me to open MLT positions. They want to help students find a job in their new career. Overall, I had a great experience with this school. I had great teachers that I learned a lot from, met great classmates that I became friends with, and could lean on for help, and worked hard to be successful in this new field. Unfortunately, I think that some people come to these schools with a misunderstanding that because they have paid more for the private education that they should be passed through their program, which doesn't happen. But the school will work with you on an individual basis if you need help, and they still hold you to the standards of your program, which is critical for your success as a medical professional. I enrolled here 2 years ago for the BSN after deciding the Maricopa nursing waitlist was too long. From when I applied, I had an amazing admission rep, Kim, that helped with transferring my credits from Maricopa (which helped knock down the price) and she had told me that my employer was contracted with the school for clinical sites- so it gave me another tuition price knock down. Luma helped me with the initial charges and explained everything to me, whenever I had questions about something- she would clarify. Shelby and Michele were also very helpful with fixing and answering any questions I had about my tuition. Bonnie from career service followed up continually through out about help with resume's and also being motivational and supportive. Could the school be more organized and maybe maintenance some of the sim equipment? Yes..... but at the end of the day.... I will be graduating with my BSN....already have a job offer with the hospital I was hoping to get into..... and hopefully taking my NCLEX as soon as my application gets processed with the Board of Nursing to start working. There are multiple professors that I consider grateful for because I was nearly giving up due to some other personal things happening in my life, but I am grateful for the opportunity to have attended and be able to finish after years of pursuing nursing. If you're deterred by the price, I would say take some classes with Maricopa to save money or CLEP test your way out and it will shorten the 3 year program time as well. read more

I highly recommend Brookline college to any student especially those wanting to pursue an accelerate BSN program. I really had a great experience from day 1! The admission rep and international student coordinator, Mayra Pasillas and Jennifer Evers were super helpful and awesome. The professors really care about the students and help students to be successful in the program. They help students when they have problems and help to find solutions. They are very quick to respond to emails. All of our ebooks were provided and the online classes were organized well during the COVID-19 lock down. Dr. Clarke, Dr. Pepper, Dr. Patricia Bishop, Dr. Paula Bishop, Dr. Hayashi, and all the other professors were very great professors! Couple of days after taking my NCLEX, the career coordinator, Marlis Moore helped me to secure several interviews and a job! From day one I have had really great staff make me feel welcomed. I was treated as they wanted to see me in my future career. I took me no time at all to get into the class I wanted and they are willing to help me go further than this after I finish as a PCT. Recently I have had some real live life happen to me and it caused me to miss quite a bit of school. 12 days to be exact. When I came back it was to open arms and staff helping me get back on my feet. Even though I failed my current mode due to attendance the staff still wanted me to succeed. Everyone was very helpful I feel like I have a second home and family. A new support system if you will. They stood behind me and push me to be my best. I would like to start off by saying this is a great school to attend. I just graduated as a medical assistant here and I couldn't be more happy. I want to give a huge thanks for Mrs. Lisa if it wasn't for her support through my entire time at Brookline college I don't know where I would be today. She is always there for the students and the staff, she is the definition of dedicated to work. There was never not a time that I had a question or a concern that she wouldn't help me with!!! Even if she didn't know the answer she would find out and get right back to me, she was always hands-on and never made you feel alone! I went to Brookline back in 2019. Started with my diploma for medical assisting. Mrs.Dunning was an amazing teacher. She truly helped me a lot during my time there and so did Kelly and Mrs.Schmidt. I graduated from the medical assistant program right as lockdown was happening. So I decided to use my time wisely and proceeded with my Associates in Allied Health Science. The team at Brookline made it easy to transition. The instructors were great. If I had an issue they responded in a timely manner. The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because on one of my classes all of us students were struggling and the teacher was doing the best he could but we all did not find out we had an e-text book til the last week of the class. We never knew how to access the book until then. Luckily I did pass the class and graduated with a 4.0. I'm currently employed in the field I went to school for and very thankful for Brookline College. read more

Brookline College has been so good to me! I finished the Phlebotomy program in January and was able to get a job at a very well known hospital right away. The job was exactly what I was looking for and the hours were perfect also. Brookline set me up with the tools to achieve my goals after school was done. The teachers and staff were all so great! Very understanding and patient, as I started right when Covid hit pretty hard. So on line learning was something I never did. However, through guidance and the support of Mrs. Jennifer Upsher I made it through a rough time in my life. The staff and teachers welcome you and make you feel like family! I had such a positive experience that I took the HESI exam for nursing and am currently taking classes to obtain my BSN!!! The pharmacy technician program is a program for all who want to succeed at their best. I enrolled into the online school programs with no experience and just in about one year I changed that inquiry to high responsibilities in a role In a local pharmacy. Marianne, my Career Development Coordinator at Brookline College Tempe had a huge role in reaching for a position in the pharmacy departments. We worked together strongly and fiercely, and she was always on top of things. I honestly think Brookline has a huge support system and I am so grateful for Marianne for helping me when I thought it wasn't possible and at the edge of quitting. I enjoy the learning everything there is to know about Phlebotomy, I'm super excited for my next class because I know that Brookline will be preparing for the job. I enjoy every moment that there is to learn about my field. Because I do battle with the disorder of Dyslexia, I have found that instructors here tutor me, provide verbal test and are as accommodating as possible. Because of their help, I know that this won't stop me from achieving my goals in becoming a Phlebotomy Technician. It can be a bumpy road at times for me, but I know I will achieve my goals each and everyday because of this school. I believe I have a talent for phlebotomy, because Brookline has encouraged me along the way. My instructors and the LRC staff are hugely helpful, and encourage me to be the best I can be. read more

you should be allowed to post a 0 rating here. Spend $40-85K for a worthless BSN, barely getting 1% of your money's value. FAFSA says their transfer rate is 0%, 30% retention, and 24% passing rate. Not regionally accredited, so you can't transfer your credit to further your education post BSN. You either join the military of go to new York to attain a CRNA. Their instructors are narcissistic rejects at minimum, making threats anytime one calls them out. They use covid as an excuse, sending millions of emails at night. you will have to fight to get your paid-for textbooks. The dean of nursing is worthless, for deaf ears shall be the response to your appeals and complains. The admin office is far worse, sending blanket bills and threats after you've made payments. read more

I really wish I would have read the reviews and not gone to this school!! The school and staff only care about money and not the students. They are super sketchy about money and tried to withhold my student loan money and it was a fight for me to get my money from them! There is no organization at all and the communication between the staff is awful. I only attended the school because it was the only PTA program close to the west valley. It would have been worth the drive to go to any other school in the east valley!! The commute to the east valley schools has to be better than attending Brookline! This school is not worth the amount they charge and I highly recommend anybody who thinks about going here to reconsider and find a different school. read more

I am a current student at Brookline in the PCT Program ready to enter to externs, and I have learned an excessive amount of learning from the best educators on campus. This campus is home to the most professional individuals I've ever met, from being in admissions to the classroom. You feel safe coming to school because of the amount of security provided. And because of being here I am considering applying for the nursing program. I'm currently a BSN student at the Phoenix campus and I'm in my 3rd block of the nursing program! I love the staff, high tech clinical/lab experiences, and the help they are always willing to provide! I searched multiple schools like Carrington, Brown Mackie, and GCU and not one would accept every credit I brought in like Brookline and they were all associate degree programs for the same amount of time so it was a no brainer!
