When I arrived, I found out I had been texting with the computer. That in and of itself is fine I guess, but none of the humans had any clue as to what the conversation contained and I had to start from the beginning. I had expressed interested in four SUVs, and provided a clear order of preference. One had already sold, but none were in a position where I could get a decent good or even test drive. More on that in a moment... My biggest red flag is that they were in such a hurry to push the financing through that they didn't even bother showing me the vehicles in question. They automatically started with the form, trying to get my co-signer on the phone, what sources of income, how's my credit, etc. That is a lot of conversation and a lot of information before I have even had a look at the cars to decide if this is the right choice for me. I stepped outside to make a call, came back in and asked to see the cars, which they were were amenable to but it was a very brief walk around the lot. They did not open the hoods, the trucks, or the doors of any of the options except the door of the nicest one. My top pick was missing a hub cap, and the back bumper was disconnected on the corner at an odd angle. When I inquired as to a CarFax report, I was told the manager would not furnish one until the financing went through because I was looking at older cars and it "wasn't worth it". When I pressed, I was informed that the bank would do it's own inspection or report when it did its financing. My response was that I was not dealing with any banks or putting any money down until I saw reports on the vehicles, especially because they were older, to which I was told it wasn't worth the money to pay for the CarFax reports if someone wasn't going to buy a vehicle. Honestly this was the biggest red flag to me because every single other dealership I have texted or spoken to so far has sent over a CarFax report upon request, no questions asked. Even though the salesman was very nice, no pressure and seemed to want to do right by me- I will not be returning. Whether is it is, in fact "the manager" or the dealership policies, or something else... I am just too put off by the heavy push to get financed before I'm even properly shown the options available to me with the appropriate documentation. read more

And when customers complain about there vehicle they say this is not Brooklyn auto mall anymore its now Staten Island auto mallwitch is the same as Brooklyn auto mall. 30% of his good reviews is from his country ppl that buy cars and out a good review for him. wow.....in and out in under 10 minutes. I walk in and greet the gentlemen and they looked at me as if I interrupted them. I go to check the vehicle out and it's leaking oil plus you can hear the engine knocking. the salesman has no idea what he's showing me and the finance guy is even worse. I ask him if the vehicle is final price and he says yes without hesitation telling me he repairs the vehicle right then and there if I was serious. So I try and not trash talk too much on companies, BUT I have to let you know about my experience here. I had called to set up an appointment to see a Pacifica, I received a text in the morning from Jalonie, to see her when I arrived. When I got there she was with another customer and I had spoke to staff that I was looking to trade in my caravan for a Pacifica and that Jalonie was aware. They took pictures of my caravan and then asked to take to car to go over for the trade in. Sounds great so far..... I had to wait about 20 additional minutes before Jalonie came over and introduced herself. I told her what a horrible experience I had yesterday at another dealer and she said that she will see that this does not happen here at Brooklyn Auto Mall. Well that could not be further then the truth!! First they could not find the car, in a different lot. Then they told me that they could not show me because they could not find it, BUT they had a different one. I said ok to this. Another 30 minutes went by to then have her manager come over to apologize, that they could not sell me this second car because it was a trade in and they didn't have the title. WHAT!?!?! So now the manager asked if I can work with him about a 2023 Pacifica, (that was higher then my budget) but he would throw in an extended warranty and reduce the price a bit. I was open minded to this since I waited this long. BUT AGAIN, THEY DID NT HAVE THIS CAR ON EITHER LOTS, ARE YOU F-EN KIDDING ME??? How could you ask me to see another car when you don't even have it to show me?? What a f-ed up place to come and see for a vehicle. They are lying about sales prices in advertisements, their prices are after a down payment of $2,900 but they do not write that anywhere.

Came here looking for a vehicle. I checked several 3rd party sites and all of them showed this vehicle at this dealership, I checked on the dealerships website and saw it was there. So I called and they confirmed the vehicle was there. I made sure to detail the year, make model and color and they said yes its there (that was on a Thursday). I called again on Saturday to schedule an appointment for Monday. They again confirmed the vehicle was there to test drive. Monday comes, I call one more time to confirm and they confirmed the vehicle is there. I make my way there within 20 minutes of the phone call and I dont see the vehicle on the lot. I look around and nothing (i also paid a mechanic to come inspect the vehicle that day as well). I go to their office and Im stopped by the owner who asked me if I needed help. I told him Im there for the vehicle I inquired about and he tells me (while he looks at his employee) no, we sold that vehicle several months ago. I explain that I was told several times it was there and Im upset that I was lied to. I show him the numbers I have been calling (which was 2 different numbers one number that was on both autolist and Car Gurus, the other from the dealer website) and he says that one of the numbers belongs to their advertisers who posted the vehicle but were not aware that the vehicle was sold. He then removes his own blaim and places it on his marketers. He then tells me he has another vehicle, same year model and make and proceeds to show me. This vehicle had significant body damage, no telling if there was structural damage. He brings me back to his office and proceeds to show me auction vehicles. He makes me a promise that he will buy the the vehicle he showed me on his computer and will charge me a small fee. He wouldnt detail the cost of the fee but proceeds to give me a print out of the vehicle and tells me he will buy it in 2 days. He gives me his number then has me put my contact information on a paper which also had the vehicle information. I tell him I will continue looking in the meantime, but he tells me there is no need to and that he guarantees he will have this vehicle for me. He then says "i want to help you because you came in, and I want to earn your business so you can send me more customers".Fair Enough. 2 days pass and I didnt get a call, 3 days pass and I call but no answer or get a call back. 5 days pass and he answered the call after 3 tries that day. He tells me the vehicle sold at a high amount so he didnt buy it but then reassures me he has another one thats coming in. Fine, I wait. He tells me its coming in on so and so day. I call on that day and he says the vehicle is on its way but coming late that night. I call the next day and the vehicle hasnt arrived. 5 days pass and the vehicle still hasnt arrived. All this time, he dodged my calls and never called me back. He didnt sound concerned about the delay in shipping and was nonchalant about everything. I suspected that he didnt care for my business and wasnt being honest about it. Its now been 17 days since I first came in and figured something isnt right. He never calls me back maybe 3 times in total, and my only way speaking to him was by my constant calls. Finally I call one last time and he says "oh, its here but its the wrong one, i thought it was the model you wanted but when it came on the lot, we realized it wasnt the right one". So, you mean to tell me, you are the owner and you dont check the vehicles you buy? Again nonchalantly in his tone without any consideration of my time, he says "it happens" Finally I said, I will start looking on my own but would appreciate his help and he agreed he would "look today, I will find it for you" Almost 2 months have passed and never heard from this guy. Luckily I bought the vehicle elsewhere. But lemme tell you, He is not reliable. He seldom cares unless you are going to buy something that will run you 17k or more. He lied about the advertisers and even though the vehicle was listed on his actual website. He never had it removed. HE Claimed the advertisers dont know whats really on his lot, but it was his own staff members that told me its on the lost not the advertisers as e claimed. Its the old bait and switch. You come in for a vehicle on their site, only to find out its sold and they try to sell you something more expensive. Super disappointed in this because I really wanted to believe him. I came here to purchase a truck. I paid $43,500 cash for it. That's including a warranty. We discussed the issues that were already wrong with the truck and they agreed to fix it. It has been almost a year and they have yet to fix this truck. The truck is getting worst and worst by the day and they have been giving me the run around since day one. My warranty doesn't want to pay for the issue because it was pre existing. I spoken to several mechanics, warranty companies, dealerships and they all said the same that this company has many ethical issues and I should pursue a lawsuit. My original warranty was even cancelled due to them being unethical. This has to be the worst decision of my life to come and purchase here and believe the words of Paul, Ralph, Zak & Tim. They all are conmen. If you prefer professional business, service and a car that actually works, I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. This dealership is a complete nightmare. read more
