First time here... So let's see how it goes. There are many positive things about this place but still some room for improvement. It's a very open space and the sunlight comes through which is great for anything from studying to writing a paper. The wood paneling adds a nice touch. There are two sides of the bar that you can sit on since it's an L shaped bar. Most of the people seemed friendly when I came in however the cashier could be a bit more helpful if she sees that someone is uncertain of what to get. (Especially as it was my first time) She seems unbothered. They allow you to add things to your drink if the suggestions don't have all the ingredients you desire. They seem to be quick with the orders as it only took about five minutes for my juice to come out. The chef does use gloves to prepare meals. I am actually sitting here at the bar as I write my review so this allows me to see a couple of negatives...... They add boxed juice to some juices which is definitely a minus in my book. I can go to the grocery store and buy the same Mira juice and create a shake. I guess they are being honest because they could have poured it into another bottle and we would be none the wiser. I wish they would note which juices have it so you can opt out of the boxed concentrate. Another negative was the guy was mopping the floor... Now this would probably be a little more acceptable if it was early morning and nobody was here but to have someone maneuvering around customers made it a bit weird to be. Not only the movement but the place then smelt like cleaning products and they also had lettuce out on counter.... I'm sure people don't want dusty lettuce as anyone who is a cleaner knows what will happen when you sweep and dust around exposed anything. So all in all I may return on a random summer day but will make order revisions based on the knowledge I have gained on this visit. Fresh fruit juice, smoothies , shakes ....complimentary coffee or tea....even a sample of another smoothie while I waited for my order.. I created a Yelp account today just so I could post a review for Brooklyn Blend. I recently moved to the area and this was one of the first places I walked into. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and the customer service was genuine and exceptional! I loved the ambience of the cafe and the menu offered a great variety of healthy and tasty choices. I ordered the Mushroom burger and it was light, tasted natural and the flavors were great! So happy that a business like this opened up in this area. Can't complain about much here. The juices are amazing, food is great, and the prices are fair. I sometimes have to fight not to come here daily because the juice is that good. I usually go with the B44 and add blueberries, which comes to a total of around $7.62...not bad right. The only area I think they can improve in as a business is their speed. Maybe hiring more employees? Purchasing more equipment? It seriously takes about 20 minutes for them to make your juice, smoothie, or food, so be ready to wait! Note that there is FREE wifi here and plenty of space to get some work done. I really enjoyed my smoothie(Schmoburg- forgive the spelling) and pumpkin patty. Both items were delicious. My issue/concern was after placing the order, you have to go back into the same ramp for pick up. Under "normal " circumstances, I would be okay with this. However, there's still a virus and we have to be cautious. I would suggest going back to not allowing customers inside to pick up food. read more

Order the Park Slope Salmon Sandwich and add avocado and grilled pineapple... so delicious. The salmon was so buttery and cooked to perfection. Bread was doughy and flavorful. My boyfriend got the Cobb salad with balsamic dressing and said it was the best Cobb salad he's ever had. I citibiked here during covid quarantine and it almost makes me want to move to the neighborhood! I love healthy/fresh food with a little indulgence and a great neighborhood vibe, and this place really delivered! I got the cranberry smoothie (omg SO refreshing- I feel like cranberries are underrated?) and the Montague mushroom/avo sandwich (omg that homemade Turmeric bun and overall sandwich flavor???? ). You've won me over. I returned a week later for another smoothie (seasonal cantaloupe/watermelon-YES!). Sweet staff/service, great food and drink options and I love the interior decor (even if I couldn't sit during quarantine). Red Hook Tossed salad - crispy lettuce with a variety of fruit. So delish... All of the dishes I've tried were fresh and tasty. Among the dishes I've tried are: Saratoga Shrimp Salad, Cobble Hill Cobb Salad, Saratoga Shrimp Sandwich, split pea patti. Church Ave Special is a yummy shake, you can taste the banana and the spices. Among the shakes I've tried is the Greenwood Mango, the taste of this mango nectar based shake is scrumptious.
