This place is a true gem! I took my brother here and it was the first time for both of us! Coming from Southern California, and living in metropolitan areas, such as Chicago, where pizza and Italian food are king, BB really showed up! The service was amazing and the food was even better!! I had the pasta meatballs, while my brother had the fettuccine Alfredo! Both dishes were on point! I imbibed on some Moscato wine, and that was to die for! The calamari app was outstanding! We were looking for some good pizza in the area. We picked this as I came highly rated. Oh boy, did they not disappoint! This pizza was absolutely delicious. We made a few customizations to the vegetarian pizza. We had the regular crust and real cheese, but they do have vegan options here which was a huge excitement for us as we are vegetarian. We would love to have tried all the vegan options as well. The crust of this pizza is light and airy and absolutely fantastic. The sauce is one of a kind and handmade in house. You will not be disappointed if you come to this restaurant. The service is amazing and very friendly. The inside of this restaurant is definitely decorated with a New York vibe. Even though I came here in the middle of the day and there wasnt very many people there my Server went above and beyond. He got me my drinks nearly as soon as they were finished and was on top of it! My husband and I were driving through Bay City on our way home from a jaunt around the thumb and wanted an easy dinner we could grab as takeout and enjoy by the river during sunset. Pizza? Yes, pizza fits that bill perfectly. I found Brooklyn Boyz on Yelp and made a call from our car. 20 minutes later, we were scooping up a delicious order of garlic knots and a 14 inch deluxe with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. We got it to the park just a few minutes away and enjoyed a truly delicious, piping hot pizza and fantastic garlic knots. It really is very, very good. The gal that took my order and rang up up at the bar was VERY nice. The space inside is small but has some nice seating with an old school pizza parlor meets pub vibe. The white pizza was our favorite especially with ricotta, and the veggie pizza was also very good. It's a small dining room but there's also outdoor seating in the nicer months. We ordered a cheese pizza without sauce on July 22. Odd request because it was our dogs Birthday, we even explained that. We also ordered a pizza with ham and pineapple. We picked up the pizza headed to a local brewery found the plain pizza had sauce. So big disappointment. Also the pizza is pretty expensive and not great. We did not call and complain as we had our dog and didn't have time to wait even longer. I had the Lobster and Crab ravioli, wife had chicken fettuccine Alfredo and her dad ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, I don't eat shrimp, but they said it was the best they've had, I tried my wife's chicken Alfredo and it was tender and juicy and well seasoned chicken in a fantastic Alfredo. And the lobster and crab ravioli made with real crab and lobster in a sauce I do not know, but it was amazing, and Im Not much of a seafood person. Really a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing service. The only reasons I don't give it a 5 star is the loud live music that made it very difficult to have conversations with my wife and Father in law as we were seated in front of the guy singing and playing though talented at those, he couldn't remember all the lyrics to majority of the songs he played The pics are of after we started eating.
