I haven't been to B&C in many year as I loved their pizza as a kid. I got two slices for lunch of bacon and sausage. They threw in an extra slice because one slice was really small. I dined in and sad to see so much plastic food ware. The pizza was under the heat lamp too long and resulted in very dry, brittle cruse and hard cheese. The sauce tasted flavorful. Service was by a young man with interests elsewhere. $4.20 for two-ish slices and a 12 oz fountain drink. Definitely not the pizza I remember, but would imagine a fresh ordered carry out pizza would be delicious. read more

Ordered 2 pizzas plus 2 mushrooms . Usually good but one pizza was totally nasty over done kids couldn't eat the pizza slices!Didn't know until I opened the stapled bag at home. I called but no concern or response, or anything. Been going there for at least 15 years but won't go back! $65 dollars for two pizzas and mushrooms ! This is a sad sad day! I have been an East side B&C patron for 40 years. I was raised on this pizza and have raised my children on this pizza...specifically East side only! But, today was the first time I received subpar pizza...first time ever! They raised their prices, which is total understandable and ok by me bc it's totally worth it when done right...especially when prices are going up on everything. But tonight was different...it was as if all the normal quality ingredients were traded out for lesser quality cheese, sauce, and dough. Our pizzas were hard and not the typical cheesy, saucy goodness that is expected from B&C East side. It was a skimpy version of the original. Stopped here for a quick lunch . This place is a whole in the wall that I was hoping for a hidden gem. We ordered 4 slices of the pre-made pizza. Well that was likely my first mistake. Having not ate here before we figured who can go wrong. The guy that took our order was there to do his job . He appeared busy but didn't make you feel entirely welcomed. The pizza slices tastes like they were sitting around for hours and not minutes. The sauce was lightly on the pizza and the cheese was dried out. The slices were different sizes. Some were large, others were tiny. The employee gave us 6 but 2 were bite size. The toppings were under the cheese and appeared to be plentiful. The crust was thick but tastes like it was sitting in the warmer fora long time or reheated. Not on my lists of favorite places and I doubt we will be back. Ok we stopped back. Had to give it one more try . We did not try pizza this time. Just the breadsticks as the wait for pizza was over 30 minutes. They did not have pizza by the slice that was fresh. Wish I could make it 0 stars .. I thought B &C Pizza was the best ,, I ordered a Party Pizza and paid $29.50. It got to my burnt to a crisp.. I tried for 3 hours to call back to get another pizza as this one was not edible..It got late so I called back the next day .. Was told the manager would be back at 4 to call then.. Again I tried for a few hours and again a busy signal.. I do not drive so my friend took the receipt and photos of the pizza and went in and was told only a partial amount would be put on a gift card for another pizza .. I asked her for a total refund and she was told then she could get out and if she dint they would call the police .. .. So no customer service and they lost a life long customer .. I ordered a small pizza and a side of jalepeno poppers and was quoted a 70min delivery time which on a Sunday/Holiday weekend seemed reasonable. The delivery driver got here early and was friendly but wasn't aware that I had paid over the phone, including her tip so she shrugged and said okay. I was starving so I ripped open the package and the pizza was just as I ordered. Always good pizza. Then I opened the bag of jalapeno poppers and found an order of fries. So I called the store in the hopes they could re-direct the delivery driver back and we could make an exchange. I was placed on hold and when the employee got back on the line, I was offered a store credit for jalapeno poppers if I called back next week. She said she would have to talk to her manager about a refund or maybe getting the poppers sent out again with another delivery. I decided to just let it go because it was obvious it was going to be a struggle to get $4.25 back. But the fact that I would have to call back in a week and most likely order another pizza (because I doubt they'd just deliver poppers) in order to get the order I made today correct was mind blowing. "Our mistake. Buy more food and we'll try again." That isn't what I consider sound business. To me the most reasonable thing would be to send someone out with some poppers. Too busy because it's a holiday? Gotcha, refund it is. But this "call us in a week and trust that we'll still have whatever slip of paper we wrote your name down on" is crazy. They often will take up to 40 mins to have your order ready for pickup, and is really overpriced compared to other pizza joints in Bay City. The service isnt that great either as they make you wait while they work on getting other orders done, but hey I am still standing here man. This pizza often makes me wake up in the middle of the night with the feeling like im having a heart attack. Might be better to try somewhere else. read more

Very underwhelming. Lots of cheese on the pizza, but it tastes cheap. The pepperoni are the thinnest ones I've ever seen. The crust reminds me of premade crust, similar to a Red Baron frozen pizza. The sauce on the pizza isnt bad, its lone redeeming factor. They also dont use pizza boxes, instead opting to put the pizza into a paper bag...which is weird, messy, and comes off looking incredibly cheap. Too bad. read more

First place we tried when we moved to Bay City 18 years ago, try it about 2x a year because my wife likes it, if i never had it again I'd be alright. Reasons they are #5 on my list of Bay City Pizza joints 1) Wait time, you order on a Saturday or Sunday you better have a 2 hour window, granted it's probably because they are so busy but it's been that way for 18 years, you'd think if they cared they'd fix the problem. 2) Customer service...there isn't any. 3) The sauce, very bland and they use a lot. 4) More often than not the pizza is burnt. Ok. I get that it is Saturday night. So, I ordered a pizza at 5:55 and was told it would be ready at 6:55 because delivery would take until 7:30. Fine. However; I got there at 6:55 and your VERY FRIENDLY (NOT) counter person never even acknowledged my presence. SO, at 7:05, I walked out. My time is valuable too. We tried to call in an order for pickup, they were rude and and after they finally took our order (we were on hold for awhile) they said it would be over an hour before we could pick it up. This place has the most effective and filling pizza on earth. I tried the $100 challenge of eating their 8 topping 18" pizza and failed miserably. It was worth $30 though. This is the most filling pizza in town. Their slogan is, "Why buy two when one will do?" It is dead on. I have to be in the MOOD for this filler but the flavors are good and they never leave me wanting more.
