Drove 20 minutes to come eat at this food truck and arrived an hour before they supposedly closed only to be told they were sold out, and they always sell out early on the weekend. This place is amazing- great hospitality over the phone, excellent food that travels well (a feat with breakfast foods). Highly recommend the egg and sausage biscuit. Every bite shows the love and care put into it by the owner and chef. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly crisp. All the ingredients used are local and fresh and you can really taste the difference. The Brooklyn breakfast shop is super hyped up, and I must say, it is worth the hype! It sells out every weekend before their scheduled closing time, and it's not hard to understand why! They have a few items on the menu that stays the same but two items that changes flavors every month. This time, we got the Gigi po mi sandwich, which was a very well breaded chicken thigh with a sunny side egg and pickled vegetable (think banhmi in a sandwich). The flavors went well together! I really wanted to try the French toast, but it sold out 5 minutes before I placed my order at 10-ish in the morning. Because it's about half an hour from my place, I would recommend placing an order online for anyone else who's in the same situation - it would prevent you from driving all the way down just to realize there's nothing left! I would say that getting food from here requires planning and waking up early! Would love to try other things from them in future! read more

I've been on a biscuit craze these days and decided to try this place on a rainy day. I ordered online and got my order right when I got there! I got the bacon egg and cheese and was so pleasantly surprised by the good amount of bacon I got. Usually when I get a sandwich like this elsewhere they give you a tiny little slice. Pros: The fried chicken breakfast sandwich was good. A solid sandwich and good proportions to leave you full till the next meal. I'd 100% get it again. Cons: SLLLLOOOWWWWW. I've always considered food trucks to be a place to get quick eats. Had to wait close to an hour to get my food. Not sure what is going on inside the trailer, but something is off and needs to be streamlined to get orders out quicker and more efficiently. This is a great place to eat for a healthier style of breakfast. Everything is so fresh and tastes great. The buttermilk biscuits so good! I wasn't sure about the pickle with it and didn't think breakfast when I saw pickle but it for together well! I love this little south-Austin truck. My lady and I go there as often as we can. The fennel breakfast sausage is particularly delicious.
