I dropped off my brand-new pickup truck with only 100 miles on it. It was spotless inside and out. When I picked it up, it had 43 additional miles, and the interior was dirty with garbage, footprints on the back seat, and scuff marks on the backs of the front seats. I understand a short test drive may be necessary, but there is no reasonable explanation for adding 43 miles during service. I expected my truck to be returned in the same clean condition I left it. I had my Jeep towed to the service department on Tuesday March 3rd, I called to get a status update on Friday and they couldn't locate the vehicle and didn't know they had it and was told I would get a call back from them on Monday. Monday no one called, so I called and still they don't know where the vehicle was and the same person I spoke to on Friday don't remember the conversation. Finally they find the vehicle and I was told I would receive a phone call from an advisor and get an update and that did not happen. I had to keep calling for myself and every person I spoke to gave me a different story. My vehicle was repaired and I went to pick it up, my advisor was off on that day and one else took the time to explain what was going on with the vehicle. I just found out on March 10th while the vehicle still in their possession, they left it outside double parked in the street all night. At 1:47 Am they got me a ticket for $115 and who ever brought the vehicle in the morning just threw the ticket out and moved on with his day. The carelessness and customer care is beyond pathetic, no one answers the phone, mailboxes are full and no one calls back. Meanwhile, I am paying for a rental car. I call again, (they often don't call you to apprise you of the situation) to find out that rodents had chewed up the wiring. Now this is an insurance problem. I give them all the details of my policy. I call them a week later, no adjuster had come yet. They hadn't call me about this. Another week passes. They need another adjuster to look at it. Didn't notify me or the insurance company to hurry things up. Finally, the adjuster shows. Work takes anther week or more. No progress report. I have to call to find out, often 2 times a day, to make contact. Wiring fixed. On a test run they find a problem with the transmission. Only !5,000 miles on the car, and a transmission problem! Now this is a warranty issue. I have to call corporate to set up an account. All this time I am calling to find out the progress. Waiting for parts. A week passes. After 2 months I finally get the car. As a final problem, after receiving the car in the late evening in the dark, parked on the street, the next day I find a small vertical cut/dent just under the rear door handle. A very unusual dent that could not be caused by another car. Maybe on a car lift or a toolbox hitting it. Of course, they deny that they caused it. I went to Jeep/Chrysler in Brooklyn on Flatbush ave. The people I dealt with including sales, David, and finance, Bryant, have a default of dishonesty. My best advice is to read everything before you leave. They send the documents to be signed to your phone, which makes it impossible to read, bring a tablet or a laptop with you and read everything. I was charged 6k more than the sticker price on the vehicle, and had an extended warranty added, which I did not consent to. The problems don't end there. When I tried to cancel the unauthorized extended warranty I was met with resistance and more lies. Granted I should have been more careful, but after being there for 5 hours, feeling overwhelmed and navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder in this setting, I was not. I plan to relentlessly pursue these issues until they are resolved. They send a questionnaire within a day or two of purchasing the vehicle, which is why there are some positive reviews. Let me start by saying, I hate hate hate going to a dealership and buying a car. Besides the fact that you spend a whole day sitting there it's just an annoying experience. Fast forward to August 2nd. I called the number and spoke to Marie and she assured me that it would be a pleasant experience and that she would give me her best salesperson Raphael. I decided to go in and meet with him. I walk in and ask for him and within a minute, we are sitting and he asks me what do I want. We built the car and he then says, I am going to take you on a short ride and I think I have the perfect car for you. As we are waiting for the ride, he is putting his contact information in my phone and talking about Cuba-my country. We take a ride and this beautiful blue Rubicon is sitting there saying take me home. I had to have this car but I play it cool. Anyways, the next day after some minor forms, the car is mine. I get there at 2pm and sign some forms and then Raphael Santiago spends an hour showing me everything and I mean everything about the car. Within an hour I am out and Raphael says to me call me when you get home and let me know how you liked the ride. I took him up on the offer and here we are. By the way, I sold back a 2021 Tahoe in impeccable condition and got a great deal. I would tell you run don't walk if you are looking for a new car. I had my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe towed to the dealership on March 29 because it was overheating and smoke was coming out of the engine, with only 33k miles. The dealership closed early that night and the entire following day. There was no location to leave the towed vehicle except the street in metered parking, so I received a fine from the city. I finally was able to bring the car inside the dealership on 3/31 and was told they needed 24-72 hours to diagnose the problem. I called back on 4/2 and was told they needed they the full 72 hours. I called back on 4/4 and was told that they could not locate the service manager and he would call me back. I walked back into the dealership on 4/5 after returning my first rental car for $450. They then decided to look at my car and tell me they needed to order a part (because they don't keep parts at the dealership apparently). I then requested a loaner vehicle and was informed that the dealership didn't have any. I then informed the amount of money I spent the first week on a rental and that the dealership just lost me as a customer. They proceed to apologize for my travel expenses and hardship but informed there was still no loaners. I called back on 4/7 to get the same answer that they were waiting for a part. On 4/9 the missing service manager called me and stated he had been out of the country for 5 days due to a death in the family (apparently nobody looks at the cars without supervision). He stated the car would be ready the next day. On 4/10 he called me again and said that there was a set back and they needed to order another part. He informed that the vehicle should be ready on 4/11 or 4/12. While not receiving a return call on 4/12 I decided to call at 1130 am. I was informed that the car should be ready today and to wait for a call back. After no call back I called back and was informed the car would not be ready. I have so far spent $1200 on rental cars and Ubers. read more

November 2024-I am informed that a Star Technician is working on the car but Steven Brigham, Service Manager, states that they cannot figure our what the issue is. December 2024-Apparently, they fixed the car and asked me to return to pick up the car. They tell me that Stellantis will offer me $15,000 for my troubles but my attorney informs me that I should not trust them because they will take the $15,000 from the final payment when the lemon law claim is resolved. I just hope that you read this before you buy a car from this dealership. I am not the first person that has had this issue with Brooklyn Jeep. way. The service department is the worst service department and I am not saying this instead that is what I have been told by three dealers around NYC. Here is a follow up of the issue with the 2023 Jeep Wrangler which has been under repair since August 2023 and has been sitting at Brooklyn Jeep from February 2024 with no repairs done on the car. Today, December 16, 2024, I received a call from a representative that the car has been repaired after 15 months and 12 months of sitting at the dealership. The dealer or service department did not offer any apology instead they stated that due to the inconvenience Chrysler would offer me $15,000. Take into account, there is no inconvenience as Chrysler would have to pay me more than $15,000 once my Lemon Law settles-which as of the writing of this email is $18,700 and will go up until they settle with me. I asked them when will I receive this money and they said it would come in 4-6 weeks. I asked for a money wire or bank check as soon as I picked up the "repaired" jeep. I do not trust this dealership as they had me close my case a few months ago in hopes of a replacement and five weeks later they refused and I had to re-open my legal case again. I urge you to re-think purchasing from this dealer. So I had been looking for a 2018 and up Durango RT for maybe a month. I tried several different types of dealerships. Some used and others Dodge certified. I went to Brooklyn Jeep just to test driver a RT Durango that had everything I wanted. As well as red leather interior. My salesperson, Moe, was not pushy. He was helpful and informative. His politeness convinced me to end my search and purchase the Durango. Needless to say because the 2019 Durango had everything that I wanted. I also purchased the bumper to bumper warranty to cover the vehicle for 7yr/100k. 2 days later my check engine light came on. I set my appointment to return. I also noticed some of the rear lcd bulbs were defective, which is a common problem for the Durango. Farhan was my service rep. They fix both problems in a day and sent me home and picked me up in a Uber. So I am a happy customer. Excellent sales with excellent service is a win/win. read more
