I saw the musical Six here. Very entertaining and high energy show. The performances were excellent! This is a lighthearted, exciting, loud and funny event. Don't miss it ! The theater was very nice. Seats are a little on the smaller side but still fairly comfortable. Covid restrictions in place and masks are required throughout the show.

This theatre was great! Saw Six in mid-July. Sold out show but no problems getting in and finding our seats. We were in the 2nd to last row right off the middle aisle and had a great view. I'm tall and the leg room was fine. Merchandise line was smooth, they offered a menu so you knew what was available and prices before getting to the booth. Ladies restroom had a line but the attendant was directing people to open stalls efficiently. Side note - Six was very good! Would recommend.

Wow what an experience. Very great theater for my Broadway experience on a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I went to see Six the Musical, the hottest show on Broadway now. King Henry's wives dressed in glamour with techno dance theme choreography can capture anyone's hearts growing up in the 90s. We got obstructed view tickets very close to the stage and were able to see the show clearly. Loved the costume designs for each character. The process of getting rush tickets was not so long and the window was very quick. Seats were comfortable and not cramped like most of the other Broadway theaters I've gone to. Music and sound for the show was clear for us to enjoy the song pieces. Very beautiful and well structured theater. I would come back again for another round of new Broadway shows.

This smaller theatre is packed with charm! The ceiling; the lighting, the walls all so intricate and beautiful. To note, one of the (not the smallest) smallest bathrooms on Broadway yet super efficient. Six rocks.

Wow! What a beautiful theatre! I visited this wonderful venue to see Six and had a great experience. My seats were on the far left side of row F on the balcony, but still had a perfect view. The sound quality is great! The show itself is fabulous as well. All of the staff at this venue are so kind, and it's great that they are requiring proof of vaccination to enter. I highly recommend Six, and i highly recommend visiting this theatre.

This review is for the theater itself - we saw Waitress there last night and I'd give that 5/5 stars. We originally started off in row L of the mezzanine. Seats were fine - not super comfortable but not uncomfortable either. Not a lot of leg room. A friend had seats open on the main floor near him so after intermission we moved down there, and that seemed to have a lot more leg room. The ladies bathroom had a long line and the doors were odd - two half-doors on each stall, kind of like saloon doors. Overall, not a bad place to see a show.

My friend and I saw Waitress here last night. We arrived at around 7:50pm for the 8:00pm showing of Waitress. There was a line down a third of the block, but it moved quite quickly and only took about 5 minutes to get in, then another couple minutes to find our seats. We had orchestra seats (row J). Sound quality was good. The theater was not large and there wasn't much leg room (and this is coming from a tiny person), but it was pretty clean and had a classic look and feel with the red and gold. Bathroom lines during intermission moved quickly.

Nice theatre! Seats are appropriately laid out to see the center stage! Commendable layout. Typical theatre and classic look. Watched Waitress here and it was a heartfelt show. I love Broadway musicals. It's applicable to lessons and journeys in life! Theatre represents the stages in life.

We watched Waitress thru Travelzoo/Ticketmaster promo "buy 1 get the other one half off". We got good seating for the price. The theater has good ambiance , good acoustics , classic lovely decor but as expected seats are cramped. We have partial blockage ( the handrail going down front mezzanine) from where we were seated but with a good view of the stage. The stage set- up was marvelous. They managed to control line to the ladies room during intermission.

I saw Six at the Brooks Atkinson theatre and it was amazing! I love the vaccine requirement and I loved that they had staff checking your card before you got to the theatre door. The staff inside were very friendly. Everyone in my general area obeyed the mask rule. Such a wonderful first experience back at Broadway after 18 months!!!

Ask the Community - Brooks Atkinson Theatre

Coming to NYC for the day. Does the theater have someplace to store the bags? If not does anyone have any recs?

I don't know the answer, but suggest you call the theater directly

    Limited view tickets?

I know that they sell them, but discounts on Playbill.com are about the same discount. Also, the theatre is smaller than most, so most seats are awesome.

Everybody did such a great job and I really loved Scorpius's character. Of course Tom Felton was there as the original Draco Malfoy, which is the entire reason that we came. If you want to during the play, you can order food to your seat which I thought was cool. The rest of the snacks were good for what they were. We booked through AAA and got a snack bag with popcorn water and a cursed child cup filled with Gummies. Everything was really good. If I could change one thing and I know this is like, "come on" but the seats were kind of uncomfortable. Google says that the Lyric Theatre was redone in 1996. She was hilarious, quick, and owned that stage in every moment she appeared. Even though I've seen her perform on tour, it felt like such a special experience to witness. I had previously seen the touring production in West Palm Beach, Florida, but there was something magical about experiencing it in New York. The costumes were spectacular, the acting was divine, and the energy from the audience was absolutely electric. From the moment the curtain went up, I was completely captivated. The theater itself is older, so the seats aren't the most comfortable, but I actually enjoy these historic venues. They have so much character and charm that you just don't find in newer theaters. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see Moulin Rouge! on Broadway before it closes. It was a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. The bathroom attendance made sure that this 'older' feeling did get cast its shadow on the patrons and for that I am grateful.
