Service has gone from excellent and some times above & beyond to abysmal. They are removing interesting hard to find items with huge stacks of generic ales. They were previously well known for their craft beers and large variety of different stouts, porters and Scotch ales. Not to mention the wine & spirits selection was amazing. I am now much less interested in utilizing their services so much so that even though they are walking distance to my home, I Uber or bus to Shrewsbury or utilize delivery services to get the selection & variety I want.

05/19/2018 @ 6:42pm - old grumpy man at the counter asked for my brother's id and he gave him his…read moremassachusetts driver's license, which clearly states that he was born in 1994, 23 years old and legally able to purchase alcoholic root beer. to my shock, the old grumpy man said "do you have your other license?" because according to him, he cant sell him alcoholic root beer because his license was issued to him before he was 21 but had not yet expired. this of course is total bs, but being gentlemen, we humored him. ready to put our drinks back on the shelf and do business elsewhere, the nasty old man gave the most ridiculous dirty look and said he would "do us a favor" and sell the root beer illegally to us. we could not beleive what we were hearing! "this must be a dream" i thought, but i am not going to get into an argument with a mentally ill man. we concluded our purchase and before we could leave he scolded us once more for not having the "right license." this is no way to treat cash paying customers and only proves why this establishment is always empty. me and my boys will never purchase alcohol from rhis store again until we receive an apology for this terrible service! shame.

One day I was overcharged $20 by them no big deal I called the next day to let them know....Chris the owner says ok he will look into it get back to me and reverse my charge. A few days go by so I decide to stop in. He says he hadn't had a chance to look into yet. Ok so now a few more days go by and I call him. He says he will call them today and get back to me. Well that was 2 days ago so my final attempt to call today and he HUNG UP on me!!!! Terrible customer service all he cares about is $. I know it's only $20 but it's the principal. I extremely disappointed and I will no longer support any of his stores!! I had to call my bank to dispute amount instead of him just doing the right thing. And I gave 1 star because it didn't give me the option to leave it blank. They've lost a good customer over $20 smh
