HOLY BEER BATMAN??? There used to be a house on this piece…read moreof land for AGES. Well someone decided that it needed to be ripped down, re-developed and rebuilt into the house of booze. Like every wild crazy, insanely conjured craft beer that may be known to man. It takes up 2/3 of their store, which I may add is sparkling, shiny and new still after a couple years. It's a much-needed addition to West Boylston because WB liquors is AWFUL and the people are RUDE Af there. Legit so so so so sooo many beers and almost all of them stored cold. LOVE IT! Not the largest selection of wine, but what they do have is very nice! Liquor is good and they have some of the lesser seen mixers, aperitifs and such. One plus here - there is a large clean bathroom for customers!! So nice when you must see the boozeman before getting home but you forget to pee before you leave the office! Only gets 4 stars honest because they are kinda pricey. They get away with that being one of the only few packies in the immediate area.. Well played.

However great their craft brew selection is, they are more focused on fine wines with the obligatory 40oz and macro-brew selection in the walk-in cooler. Kj's has a huge selection of wines, both domestic and imports. They also have a seperate tasting room which is a great idea. The interior is clean and tastefully decorated. They sell sparkling wines (Champagne, Cava, etc) and liquors that they might not carry at other places. While this is mainly a wine store, they do a good job of offering other liquids. They have a good cheese selection as well. And they are always offering free tastes of the cheeses. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. If you live in the area, definitely worth stopping in. One of the finer wine shops in the area.

Place gets very very busy during certain times of the year. I often see cops directing traffic in front, stopping traffic on Main Street to let one car out of the parking lot. This really pisses me off as a commuter, although I do understand how difficult it is to pull out onto Main Street during rush hour.

I am 25 years old, she ask me to remove my mask which obviously I did no issue at all. Afterwards I simply asked is it legal for us to remove our mask especially with the pandemic (which she was wearing NO mask at all). Charlie baker made it mandatory for mask. This lady flipped and was just super rude, stating she didn't have to sell me anything, (after I just showed my face risked my health and complied with her) she asked who do I think I am. All I asked was a simple question. First and LAST time I will ever buy anything from that store. I've never had someone come out so rude in customer service. The store is rather large they had about nine tables set up for their whiskey tastings each with maybe 3 or so "samples" each available to be tried of the various vendors. The benefits also gave away so much free stuff, that was ace. They did a very good job of ensuring there was water, cheese, and fruit to snack on so people weren't falling all over each other and the vibe was very friendly. The event was run very smoothly and I really hope to go to another one again. As for the store itself, it was a lot larger than I thought it would be. I did notice some beers not having prices. I don't know if it was due to the hustle and bustle of the event and they'd fallen off but if you're the type to buy craft beer I don't think you have an issue with asking for a price anyways common.
