It's almost playground season again, so I'm dusting off an oldie here but this is a nice, neighborhood playground for the kids.
Location-wise, it's just across Trolley Trail, if you feel like braving the Brookside Blvd. A tiny bit noisy for that reason, but not too bad. It's highly accessible for the neighbors, surrounded by dozens of uninterrupted residential streets and nice homes.
They have a pretend rock-wall, swings for babies and kids, slides, and one picnic table. We've found this spot to be clutch to grab dinner and eat while our daughter runs amok. The trees shade a little of it, but like a lot of playgrounds, it bakes in the summer sun.
The beauty of this spot is in the simplicity and accessibility of it, IMO.
While it's a pretty basic playground all around, it's never let us down as a fun little stop or spot to walk to! read more
