John wanted to apologize to us for the poor service we received from Corporate Travel since my original review was posted. John explained many areas of his business with his brother in law as a family business and how prior to the Pandemic, they had a thriving business with 100 employees. They had spent a great deal of money switching to an "off site" computer storage company that went out of business at the end of March 2020 after the shut down and lost a great bit of information with all those who were to be traveling, the postponements, not getting their monies back from all the commitments they had throughout Europe etc. None of that was my fault, but he wanted to let me know that basically their business had very little income if any income for those 2 years and yet somehow they were able to provide a service to us. I fully agreed. I think John told me that they had 18 employees now and that when they had to lay off their employees at the beginning of the Pandemic (some who had been long term employees) and that they reached out to other businesses to help ease this transition for these employees. Yes it was the Christian thing to do as John stated. I reiterated my points on how his company changed and still in my opinion, not for the better. The frustration level of receiving an email but not from anyone in specific! John knew nothing of this and was very sympathetic to our frustration. John wishes I would have reached out to him, in retrospect he is correct. For that I am sorry. That's why I am raising this review to a 4 stars. Even my wife said, that if the Diocese of Saginaw ever took another trip (possibly Rome or Jerusalem) that we would consider it if our friends (new friends from the Oberammergau trip or our good friends from Bay City) were going. Plus if I have concerns, now I have John's extension and he said that in the future if I have problems to give him a call. I surely will! Thank you John for reaching out, wish I had done the same.

When I called to ask about possible flexibility with dates or hotel options closer to the fields, the representative was extremely rude from the start. I stayed calm and simply tried to understand what options might be available, but the conversation only became more confrontational. When I asked to speak with a manager or requested the representative's name, they hung up on me. I called back, was connected to the same person, politely asked again for the manager's name or escalation path, and they hung up a second time. Mistakes happen, but the way the situation was handled and the lack of professionalism was incredibly disappointing.

They gave us many options within our budget and successfully booked our trip. Ed came to our home before our trip to review all our travel documents and gave recommendations for Club Mobay (highly recommended!!!) as well as trip excursions. Unfortunately on the transport to the hotel I left my phone in the van, in Jamaica!!! Can you believe FedEx wanted to charge me $3200 to send it back (shipping and customs charges). After 6 weeks I had just about forgotten about it when Mary Jane emailed saying she may have a way to get it back!! I am more than pleased to say that I got my iPhone back, safe and sound!!
