Staff are very helpful. Service provided very excellent. Competative price compare to Amazon and other stores.

Located in the middle of Terminal 4 Arrivals (the side where you enter/exit the Terminal), this…read morelittle AT&T store doesn't offer much in terms of products. I suspect it's setup as a convenient option for AT&T customers who have an emergency or need something quick. Not being an AT&T customer, the guy working there was still totally awesome and answered all the questions I had for him regarding what it would take if I wanted to switch or get an iPhone. I was walking by, so I figure why not stop for a couple of minutes and find out. For that alone I give this 3 Stars (since many of you how Carriers can be if you're not with them and want to know stuff), and an A-OK. :-)

DO NOT USE THIS STORE…read more They are cheating customers on a regular basis. They are not an official AT&T store - just a retailer - so they are not under AT&T's supervision. I purchased an unlimited talk & text AT&T Go Phone sim card from them for $92 - which is MUCH MORE than you should ever pay! I was told I would get one month unlimited talk & text for $40 but had to pay a $50 activation fee. I had some problems with a call so I went to a corporate store. Turns out the guy put me on a $2 per day plan with $40 credit (so I would not even have a full 30 days of minutes.) The other $52 that I paid? Straight to his pocket! The corporate store said I am not the first to come to them with this problem. Go to an official corporate store. It is much cheaper and - even though it is AT&T - the customer service is better. At least you won't get scammed.

Tech Showcase - Shoddy USB cable that quickly broke and can't be returned

The store exists for one basic reason - sell you things you forgot at home (headphones, chargers,…read moreetc) so you can travel more comfortably, and sell them to you at high margin because you don't really have a choice when traveling. Nothing wrong with that really, after all it was my fault I left my iPhone cord at home, so what am I gonna do? A couple things - no returns on chargers, only replacements of the same thing. Makes sense; they exist to profit off your forgetfulness so why let you return it when you fly home, right? In any case, that's how I ended up paying $35 for a non-apple iPhone 5S USB cable. A non-apple cable that the sales guy promised would work and was "apple certified." A non-apple iPhone cable that only worked if I jiggled it a certain way, then stopped working altogether 24 hours later. That I can't return. Avoid at all costs, this store exists to sell you knockoff peripherals at high margin because you don't have a choice. My suggestion: wait until you get to your destination hotel and ask for a free one. They usually have piles of them in the back from all the travelers that leave them behind. That's what I did, and it is the only reason I had a charged phone for the rest of the week.

Before flying out for a trip, I decided to purchase a wireless charger for my blackberry and ipod…read more The guy at the store said this was a great product and if I had any problems I could return it. I bought the charger, and my battery life was worse instead of better. My phone was resetting for no reason. Three days later, I flew back to JFK and went to return the charger. Unfortunately I could not find the receipt but since it was purchased just a few days prior on a credit card I didn't think it would be a problem. The guy working the counter said he was unable to help me and I'd need to come back and discuss with the manager. I had him call his manager who explained he was the only person who could handle the return and the guy in the store incapable of using the computer system. Great way to run a business. He told me I could send in the charger that week and he would have it returned by the 30th when they do their monthly returns. I sent in the charger (they refused to reimburse me for it) and waited and waited and waited. Finally days after the end of the month, I contacted the manager and he was unreachable. Once again whoever answered the phone was unable to help me. Finally over a month later he responded to my call and said he would "as a courtesy do the return because they don't normally return chargers." He said he was out on the 30th thus why the return hadn't happened yet and he was very unfriendly and unaccommodating. I'll be sure never to shop here again.
