Kind salesperson but punishing prices. Forget your laptop power cord? Count on a $100 markup. A bit outrageous, but isn't capitalism? :-$

Lady said they haven't had a blue ones for months. Just so happened I was running another errand close by and happened to walk by and figured doesn't hurt to ask PC Richard if they do canister exchanges and to my surprise they said yes! Angel who I asked helped me. I made sure I got the $15 exchange taken off the price for new canister. Thankfully my husband was in their system bc they asked for contact information. Maybe bc I charged vs paying cash? Anyways glad I found an alternative place to do exchanges that wasn't listed when I searched up Sodastream canister exchanges.

This means we have to buy our Air conditioners at their store. After a while, management told me it had started leaking onto the building. I had to contact the store because it would damage the building. They came to reinstall my Air Conditioner. I had to pay $300, which I don't understand, because they are supposed to know the installation requirements. The following year, I had to buy another A/C; of course, I went to PC Richards. They suggested I buy a larger one, so I did, and I asked them to send a knowledgeable tech to make sure it was properly installed. Now it's leaking onto the 3rd-floor tenant's window and into their apt. And they immediately complain when I turn my A/C on. I have to call them again to do the job they should have done the first time. I don't know how much it will cost now.

It's a Target, identical and indistinguishable from the dozens out there in America's heartland and…read moreeverything in-between. Avoid this place on the weekends if you don't feel like standing on a painfully long line. It's good for necessities (food), cheap furniture if you're just starting out (if you're an IKEA fan, Target is probably next on your list), and the nostalgia factor since it has a DVD and book section (good for us older folk who miss the good ol' days of pre-streaming video and bookstore browsing). Outside of that, I don't shop here. The clothes, handbags and sunglasses may look cute, but they're not made to last - fast fashion landfill-friendly crap. If you must have this crap, wait a few months until it ends up in Goodwill and you'll get it for a song. Since I care about the earth, I'd rather buy my clothes and bags from a high end consignment shop - that's where you get real quality for less. Bring your own bag as Target charges you five cents for its own branded gray Target bag if you forget. I take my own reusable bag everywhere and have never had to pay the five cent tax. Ever. Judging by the number of times I've seen people carrying the five cent, gray Target bag, however, I can tell how many people forget and carelessly throw away their hard earned money unnecessarily. Seeing that stupid Target bag everywhere also tells me that everybody seems to be struggling, as everyone and his mother seems to shop there. Shopping at Target can be depressing because there are few alternatives for those who yearn for something higher quality but can't afford Nordstrom's. Target is the cheapo version of what used to be the middle class department store, like Alexander's. It has a little bit of everything but nothing is high quality. Most of what they sell is cheap and disposable. Since department stores have mostly disappeared, Target is the only facsimile left for people who miss browsing in a well-stocked general store. It's a store for the struggling as well as the middle class, so cheapness rules the day. Sad.

But of course always a lousy encounter to remind me of how this particular Target truly does target customer. And yes they definately target me and probably folks who look like me. This is the end of the school year & my go to gift for school staff are gift cards. Yesterday I purchase 4 visa gift cards and the only the odd thing that was said to me was that the gift cards aren't on display because customers mess with them--that's an important detail. Today, I went back to purchased an additional 4 gift cards from the same cashier (Jasmine). She initially claimed I can only purchase 3. When I pointed out that I purchased 4 the day before; she claimed she was scolded by a manager and that the register doesn't allow more than 3. I offered to make 2 separate transaction and even offered 2 separate payment sources, if that worked better. She was obviously lying as she "forgot" the name of the manager who scolded her and the register did allow 4 gift cards to be purchased exactly as it did the day before. Long story short, I spoke to store manger and he confirmed what my experience should have been in just making a simple purchase without the extra ego tripping by Jasmine. And that detail, she claimed about the gift card display was clarified by the manager as being place outside of customers purview to reduce the cluttered look of the customer service area. The managers explanation makes more sense since it literally sat behind the counter previously, where customers can't mess with them anyway. Addendum: it was actually 6 gift cards that I purchased the day before not 4.
