83. Crispy Sesame Chicken w shrimp lo mein
Gianna G.

Go to chinese food spot. Hands down probably best chinese food in brooklyn. Food is always on point and vegetables are always fresh and crunchy. Fried rice is actually fried rice and not yellow. Lo mein is always very flavorful and garlicky. One time my grub hub carrier never showed to pick up my order and they called and had their own delivery guy deliver it after they were already closing. When the food arrived our food was kept piping hot and was still incredible. Extremely well priced and overall great customer service. Never been disappointed.

This was my first order from Brothers Asian Cuisine, and I didn't want to order anything inedible, so I kept my order 'stereotypical'; A Combination Platter of General Tso's Chicken (which came with Wonton Soup) and a Roast Pork Egg Roll. The Wonton Soup - A rich, thick broth with copious amounts of collagen (my lips stuck together - that's gooooood!) The Wontons were very small; Two to a pint, and not much filling, which was a first for me. But, for what was there; they were good. The Eggroll - They supplied a complimentary Spring Roll, which was so sweet! Not only was it sweet of them, it was delicious! My Roast Pork Eggroll was HEAVEN. By far, the best Eggroll I had ever had in my life. Stuffed with pork, crunchy vegetables (so Uber fresh!); So delicious. The General Tso's Chicken was REAL. There were real chilli peppers mixed in with the chicken (so... Not just peperoncino... REAL chilli peppers). It was spicy as fuck and I loved every second of it. The competitors make a sweet version but slight tangy version. I don't want tangy - I want spicy! The Pork Fri ed Rice was very flavorful but a little too "al dente" for me. It was almost crunchy and tasted like it needed to be steamed a little longer. Overall, this was an absolutely amazing restaurant that serves delicious dishes. I will definitely be ordering from here again and hopefully revising my review from 4 stars to 5.

Came here wanting Bahn Mi but it wasn't available. Yelp described this as an Asian fusion place with Chinese & Vietnamese cuisine. This was more of a Chinese take-out with some Thai dishes. Came with a friend and my husband for lunch. We came here after our original plan fell (original restaurant was closed). We ended up with their lunch special Chinese food. *boneless spare ribs with fried rice and egg drop soup *boneless spare ribs with white rice and hot&sour soup *Chicken with mixed vegetables and wonton soup *gingerale *iced tea all orders come with a vegetable spring roll The spare ribs was somewhat moist&tender, sweet and yet some pieces were chewy. All the fried rice was cold. The white rice was hot (warm in the rice cooker) but seem old and dried out. The chicken with mixed vegetables was just broccoli. The first spare ribs dish was just cold- all cold with 1 broccoli while the second spare ribs dish was warm with 2 broccoli pieces. The hot&sour soup has firm old tofu (overcooked and old) and mushrooms and nothing else. Where is the typical hot&sour soup ingredients like the egg, carrots, bamboo, and fungus? Overall a disappointing meal but at least we supported a small local business. The soups were the "hottest" meal there and everything else was warm to cold.

peas n carrots from fried rice.

Of all the places I eat regularly, Brothers is the only place in Brooklyn that is consistent. Recipes stay the same, the items included stay the same. And the prices are actually fair for what you get. I can order beef and broccoli, beef with veg, or the coveted Kung pao beef. Both the white and fried rice are good. They have soy and duck sauce, which aren't always offered at Chinese places. Thanks for being affordable and consistent! This is the only plate I always know will be empty when I am done.

B3. Grilled Chicken Banhmi was delicious and bread was crispy
Lia V.

Pros: 1) yummy grilled chicken Banhmi (Vietnamese Sandwich); 2) crispy and fresh sandwich bread; 3) helpful and friendly cashier; 4) big choice of food; 5) A - sanitation inspection grade; 6) relaxing music; Cons: 1) old furniture and wall, needed painting at least; 2) hard understand menu without pictures on many dishes.

This is my favorite takeout pho place! I've ordered from here multiple times…read more I would always order the summer roll, spring rolls, and sliced brisket pho. The summer roll has the right amount of spring and always lots of noodles and lettuce. The spring rolls always arrive still hot and still so crispy and good. The pho will come separately, a container of the soup and then another container of everything else. The soup would always still be hot! I always pour the soap into a bigger bowl that I have and then put everything else in. It never disappoints!

You know when a place has a limited menu they take care of all their foods. We ordered a pork bahn mi and a chicken bahn mi. An order of pirk dumplings and 2 drinks. The lychee drink and the taro milk drink with boba. The taro drink was creamy and light when drinking. The lychee drink was like a lychee flavor soda but so refreshing. Definitely get the lychee if you are unsure as that is what the worker recommended when i asked. The dumplings were small but yummy with their homemade sauce. I wish they were bigger but no other complaints. The bahn mi's were delicious i got the prok and the flavoring were juicy with their homemade sauce pickled carrots and cucumbers slices balancing it out. The bread was so crispy i throughly enjoyed. I will stop by again another time for the delicious Pho smell that was at the restaurant.

Made a reservation here on Saturday night for Mother's Day dinner. We got seated in the basement as…read moreit was busy and got to ordering. There were 10 of us, so we ordered a variety of Chinese dishes. Overall the food wasn't bad, but nothing amazing. We got about 7 dishes and a soup, and the bill came out to around $413. The most expensive item was our soup. They recommended and we ordered not knowing it was $98, but that was our fault for not asking. To be fair though, the soup was quite delicious and I had two bowls.

This newish restaurant has been opened for about half a year and from the outside you wouldn't know…read moreit's a decent Cantonese restaurant unless you spot the minimal signage. It's in a quieter area of Boro Park surrounded by residences and commercial warehouses and auto shops. Yet I wanted to try it for months. So we did try it especially as they have a lunch special everyday from 11am to 3pm which offers a starter of their house soup with all the fixings - spare rib, fresh chicken, mushrooms, a abalone as well. While not like most other restaurants which their house soup is left over bones and odds/ends with a heap loud of msg. Then 3 main dishes of your choice from their lunch special menu which has over 20 dishes for you. Plus a bowl of their white rice for each person. Even a simple bowl of white rice was amazing - it's a mix of different rices which presents very nicely - each grain stays individual, long, fluffy, and great texture. The main dishes do not disappoint- fresh, flavorful, well balanced, and with wok hay. We've now eaten there a handful of times for lunch and even with other friends/family - everyone agrees the food and preparation is excellent. Everyone says they would come back. Then if you take into account the lunch special deal for $30 this is an amazing meal that feeds your taste buds and stomach yet your wallet praises you. I have read some reviews giving 1 star with comments about long wait for dim sum, dim sum being average at best, and bad manager/servers etc. I have these observations to share - Dak Sing Palace has a small dim sum menu maybe a dozen or less items and they are not a dim sum restaurant so they likely don't produce dim sum fresh daily. Likely their dim sum is frozen and reheated. Thus the wait time and average dim sum. Bad manager/servers - this is not uncommon at Chinese restaurants it is almost expected to have to deal with this to some extent. My own experiences here every server does do their job maybe some without a smile but we have had excellent servers with a smile and small talk also. If you have any reservations about trying Dak Sing Palace due to how the appearance may seem, or reviews on the service, or dim sum then I say Just Go! And try using their lunch special for $30! You won't be disappointed.
