Brothers Foundation was referred to me by my next door neighbor who had used them in the past. I met with Frank Pena who was pleasant and professional. He he performed a test which showed two areas of my house that were not level and sinking slightly causing wall and ceiling cracks. He provided a professionally prepared quote for the necessary repairs and a fair price. The work was scheduled, but had to be delayed for a few days due to rain. Yesterday (January 27), the whole crew arrived on time and ready to work. Everyone was courteous with both my wife and myself. All work and cleanup was completed in one day with the installation of 13 piers. STAY FAR AWAT FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a home in August of 2020 the home had just been repaired by Brothers Foundation Repair. All their paperwork checked out and everything seemed to be in order so I paid the warranty transfer fee and closed on the home. Then about a year later we were having some more issues where there were some cracks beginning to form and doors were either not latching or were difficult to open. I called Brothers Foundation Repair and it took MONTHS for them to finally get out to take measurements, granted I was not very diligent in calling them or emailing them everyday until I got a response. Frank was the one who came out took measurements and explained that he would want to have a structural engineers report before they would recommend any work due to one side of the house being higher than the other and had slightly higher elevation readings than their last measurements a year earlier with the piers they installed also moving slightly. I then obtained a engineering report to which the engineer said that the piers should not have been installed to begin with as the house was built on a natural slope. I then called the engineer out there 2 additional times with the last report stating that the installed piers need to be lowered because they are causing stress on the interior of the home and are to high. I have been emailing and calling Brothers Foundation since July and have not received a phone call and they are now refusing to answer my emails. I have a warranty and engineering reports and they have refused to answer my calls and are now silent on emails. I have no way to get in contact with them and after approximately 3 months there is no solution and my home is only getting worse. read more

First off, I'll say that I really liked the guy that came to my house to give a quote. He recommended that I install a 25' support beam underneath one section and re-shim the whole house. That sounds good to me. When the quote is emailed over, it's $8400 with no cost breakdown. I called and requested for them to send a basic breakdown of costs. How much for the beam? How much just to re-shim? After a week with no response, I called a second time. At this point I was speaking with Frank who I believe is the owner. I told him where I was coming from, and that I just wanted to know exactly what I'm paying for. How long is it going to take? 6 hours? 12 hours? What if we don't put the beam, how much to just shim? These are simple questions that a company should be able to answer. However, Frank never did. He kept saying that they are the experts and that I'm paying for that expertise. I know that I would never use these guys, but I played along. Frank then turned pretty aggressive and accused me of not being able to afford it! Buyer beware. These guys will look at your neighborhood and base the price off of how much money they think you have! I've never had a company blatantly try to take advantage of me as bad as Brothers Foundation Repair. They are unable, or simply unwilling to tell you what they EXPECT you to pay for! read more

Based upon my personal experience with Brothers Foundation, you should not hire them. They did my foundation repair. The wall, floor, and ceiling cracks returned in the same places. Brothers honored their warranty BUT required a readjustment fee 3 times more than the cost of the original repairs. I hired an independent licensed structural engineer who determined Brothers did not do the original repairs stated in their contract and the "readjustment" Brothers wanted to do was a repeat repair at three times the cost. Their solution would have caused further damage according to the engineer. Don't waste your time and money with this company! read more

DO NOT USE! Brothers does not honor their warranty, after only 9 months of the 10 year warranty period, they refuse to come out unless I pay them an additional $2500. My neighbors recommended I reached out to Brothers regarding a possible foundation issue causing my front door to jam shut. Brothers came out and recommended I complete the scope that included the entire home vs. the area I was concerned with. This estimate was close to 9 thousand dollars on a small 1200 sq. ft. home. Once the work was complete, Frank said he'd email me the new readings on the leveling. I was a bit surprised that we didn't walk through and verify together. Not only did the "leveling" cause my house to be less level than it was to begin with, my front door once again stopped opening after about 3 months. Frank promptly came back out and readjusted, we were fine for another 4-5 months. Nine months later, same problem. Front Door wont open. Mind you we are 9 months into the TEN year warranty period. I call Frank to come out and address, he says he'll call me back, never does. He reads my texts, says he'll call me back. Never calls. Reaching out to him daily for 4 days in a row, I get an email from the "warranty" dept asking for another $2500 because I dont have gutters in place on my house. Let me remind you we are in a severe draught and its hardly rained at all in the last 9 months. I paid over EIGHT THOUSAND dollars to have a front door that will open and close, only to be left with the same issue I started with. This is very disheartening as Frank is a "likeable" guy - and I felt like I could trust him. My next actions include a civil lawsuit filing as well as scheduling other reputable foundation specialists to tell me what's really going on under my house.
