Brothers is the worse. They always talk about what they CANNOT do and They charge outrageous amounts for what they CAN do. Two days after my regular service, we now have ants. How does one have ants one day after regular service and no ants were present. They lie about sweeping service. Just excuses about what the can't do. Initially, Brothers was doing and outstanding job. The original techs had plenty of knowledge and my lawn went from good to excellent. Then, after three years, it started going downhill from there. The techs were promoted to managerial positions. Unfortunately, when they were promoted, it caused a void of knowledge and experience with the techs who replaced them. I had a few spots in my lawn that were dead or yellowing for the past 10 months. When I addressed the issues with the new techs thinking it was chinch bugs or other pests, I was told they would spray but it was all for naught. The spots never recovered. In fact, they multiplied. I called multiple times requesting someone call me so we could address the issues, but a callback was never initiated. ​I had my fill after the most recent service call when the tech said to me the lawn was actually becoming green again. It was, due to crabgrass and wild grass filling the void, not st Augustine that I have. I called this past Thursday in the morning requesting specifically one of the managers to call me. I had not received a call when I called at 10:00 on Friday, so I decided to cancel my service. I found out on Friday that Brothers was purchased by a larger company a year ago, coincidentally when the quality of service diminished. I also noticed on their website they're still touting themselves as family owned. Brothers Pest and especially our technician Elvin were very responsive, knowledgeable and thorough in solving our rodent issue. They closed all potential rodent entry sites and employed trapping techniques to catch the rats until gone. They also were very competitive in their pricing. We have been customers of Brothers Pest Control for over 6 years and could not be happier. When we found this awesome company, we were struggling with weeds and growth in our back yard. We live on a large field maintained by our HOA, and the bugs and weeds constantly came into our property. Once Brothers began our regular service, we have not had any issues. I have been with Brothers for 10 years. In Florida it all can't be perfect all of the time, even though you are paying for it here. I discussed with the owner Shawn weeks ago that we need to take special care of the property we are going to be putting on the market. So, 10 days ago Shawn sprayed the chemical IRON on the yard and burned it. The grass is brown and looks like we have terrible or no service. From yard of the month to causing me total embarrassment. We have spoken with several other professionals and they cannot believe he did that. So, they have been terminated, but there is nothing I can do for the severe damage caused. They are a great service until you start having problems with your lawn or bushes. That's when the tough get going and where Brothers falls short. If it was easy, we would do it ourself. Also, FYI, they are FAR more expensive than most Lawn Pest and weed control companies. read more

So, I have never actually met anyone from this company or seen them at my house, but I always know when they have provided service, and I did receive a lovely Christmas card from them this year so I know what they look like. Plus, they have been providing weed and pest control for my yard for about two years now. My lawnmower recommended them, set up the service, and they have been coming every other month ever since. They leave an invoice on my door, and I know they've been there. I've never had a problem with weeds or bugs, and my lawn looks better than most in my neighborhood. Serviced our home and we weren't even customers, and then left an invoice for TWO treatments. When I called the office to inquire, the lady said I had met with someone at my home to establish service, but I assured her I never had! There is no email for me on file with them, nor is there any paperwork with my signature. The lady in the office said she would remove us from their database, which would have been fine had she stopped there. But instead, she then went on to accuse me of forgetting that I had met with someone. So insulting. We have been happily established with another pest control company for quite some time, so I'm very certain we have never asked Brothers to come to our home. Had the lady just stopped at saying she would remove us, and not insult me by suggesting I had memory loss, I wouldn't have left this review. I certainly would not recommend this company. read more

Killed our lawn twice!!! First time we had weeds everywhere....after they had been treating it for months! They were out of control....and should not be if they were treating it right! Then we got worms and our neighbor that was using them had them too! We hired them to make our lawns look great.....both of our lawns looked awful! They begged us to give them a second chance to make it right. We did.....and man what a mistake!!!!! They killed almost our entire front lawn!!! At first they tried telling us it was because it didn't rain after they sprayed......but I finally had them admit that they sprayed weed killer by accident all over our lawn! That huge mistake made us almost lose our entire front lawn. They kept telling us it was because of the season!!!! After finally admitting that they killed it they kept telling us to be patient....it would eventually come back???! Then (months later) after our request, they put some sod in on the dead areas. It looked horrible!!! They told us to water it and not to pay till it was resolved. Then tried billing us later!!!! Our neighbors could not believe that they left our lawn to look like it did for months!!!!!! We have pictures of both times if anyone wants to see them! Horrible company....BEWARE!!!!
