After more than twenty years as customers, we are finished with Brothers Pizza. Our order took more than an hour and a half to arrive because of botched deliveries. When it finally reached us, the food was cold and ruined. The driver had tipped the pizza box so far over that the entire pie had rolled into a formless, oily ball. It could not be separated, reheated, or salvaged. It went straight into the garbage. When we called for a refund, the woman who answered offered to make something else. By then, it was already past nine o'clock, and we had no intention of beginning another long wait. She promised that her boss would call us back. That call never came. The quality of both the food and the delivery service has been declining for some time. This was the final straw. After two decades of patronage, we will never order from Brothers Pizza again. read more

Came here recently for Sicilian pizza and an Eggplant Parm sandwich. It was fine. Ordered online and got a notification my order was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the pizza was still in the oven. Waited a little longer and got our food. This time we had a ricotta and bacon pie. It was ok. The crust was good. The eggplant Parm had the same mozzarella and sauce, it was quite cheesy and we had plenty of leftovers. Think I'd try something with more sauce next time. The cheese on the sandwich tasted like the cheese on the pizza. Overall it was ok. read more

Brothers used to be our favorite. It has seriously gone down hill. I ordered a well done pizza and the dough wasn't even cooked all the way through. The Italian hoagie was all lettuce and who puts carrots on a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken for the salad smelled like dog food. It was all disgusting and not worth the price. $50 for everything. They would only refund $10 not even covering the cost of the pizza that no one would eat. I wouldn't even be writing this review if they would have made it right by refunding the pizza. Ordered pizzas from here. They have a huge menu of pizzas, pastas, sandwiches etc. But, we just ordered a regular and a white pizza. The pizzas were large and decent. But, not my favorite in the area. They were too salty for my taste. The main reason we ordered from here is that they deliver to the swim club nearby. For that reason, they wouldn't be my first choice but I would order from here again if I was needing pizza at the swim club. read more

Multiple visits over the last year finally warrants a review. This Philly/Burbs girl along with her Baltimore area beau have geographically different names for sandwiches. He: Subs. She: Hoagies Both of us are foodies. He: Thicker crust pizza. She: Thinner He: Coke, never Pepsi. She: loves both. You get the picture. So we are thrilled to have found Brothers in my backyard because this family run establishment offers fabulous pizza, entrees, sandwiches and hoagies that please the both of us. Additionally, their takeout beer selection is huge and stacked by types. They also offer Italian gravies and soups to takeout. We've tried so much but Id have to say our favs are homemade escarole soup, meat lovers pizza, the seafood platter, any hoagie or cheesesteak. Desserts are tasty too. During Covid they have reduced the number of tables and they are safely socially distant. Service is always attentive and accurate. I ordered several items from this restaurant. The wings were tasted like they were store bought, frozen, breaded precooked wings that they dumped out of a package and heated up. The sampler was horrible. The fries were cold. The bruschetta was poorly prepared. I ordered from here for the first time last night off door dash because I think I'm out of their delivery range. I browsed through some yelp reviews and google before I ordered and decided to go with just a plain personal pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. (Ordering through door dash you don't get an option to pick if there are multiple kinds). The gentleman was very kind. I wasn't expecting quick delivery ordering through door dash vs. regular delivery. Took about 40-45 min which was fine, I think the driver got a little lost. Everything was still warm when it got delivered. I was very surprised by the pizza. The crust was nice and thin and crispy which I love. The flavor was fantastic too! Nice sauce and cheese ratio. I'm sure a regular size pie would be even better! The spaghetti and meatballs were okay! I mean listen, take out spaghetti and meatballs is never going to be mind blowing, but my expectations were a little high just because of the glowing reviews and pictures. Mind you I think it would 100% have been better if I went and sat down at this place. Could have used a little more sauce because of the generous portion of pasta. I did like the flavor of the sauce though. Meatballs were okay, they didn't have much flavor. Think they were all beef with not much added to them. I will definitely try this place again solely for the pizza! If I decide to go the pasta route I might go and sit down just to see if the quality is any different! I have to say I have been to Brother's a handful of times and I have never ordered their Pizza, until last night. It came out of the oven nice and hot and I was surprised to see a thin crust pizza. In my mind I was thinking Greek pizza and my expectations were not very high. Boy was I delighted when i put the first slice on my plate. The pizza was awesome it had the perfect combo of sauce to cheese. I think we found our new Pizza place in the area. They have a beer garden with about 7-8 refrigerators full of beer where you can mix your own 6 pack for about $15, a little more pricier then other Beer gardens but why you are there why not. They also have about 5-6 beers on tap. There is parking for about 10 cars in their lot and there are plenty of tables inside to eat. Typical pizza shop food with steaks, hoagies, appetizers and pasta dishes. We like to go for lunch during the weekend, If you are in the area and are looking for a good meal, give Brothers a shot, you will not be disappointed. read more

Last night we ordered for delivery and there was an issue with our order, the Lasagna was a meat version instead of vegetable. When I called they were incredibly polite and had the correct item sent out immediately. Being a busy Friday night I was impressed with how fast the mistake was fixed. Terrible service at this pizza restaurant. We attempted to have a quick lunch along with a large group on a limited lunch break but that did not happen. The waitress gave us wrong information about menu items, brought out wrong food items, and we waited 50 minutes for pizzas and salads. When we asked for our food to be wrapped to go since we didn't have time to eat it, the manager came out and scolded us for not calling ahead, instead of apologizing for the delay and offering some sort of compensation. Didn't think you needed to call a pizza place ahead of arriving as it's supposed to be quick service. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and was ensured it came with grilled chicken. When my food arrived (late) I was surprised to see fried chicken tenders on top of Romaine lettuce. Needless to say will not be going back to this establishment. read more

I have ordered from them multiple times and have never been disappointed. 5 stars and well deserved! 1) Brothers makes everything from scratch. 2) They have some vegan options for me, so it makes it that much easier to order from. 3) According to my husband, they make a very good Stromboli. 4) Their prices are the same as, if not better than, Jano's and the amount of food that you get is huge and the quality is better! 5) It always looks clean on the inside. 6) They deliver. 7) The location is perfect. My roommate ordered the soup and got sick, they said you needed to eat it right away, he only had it the next day. I ordered a cheesesteak, half way through it got something caught in my throat it was hurting me and I couldn't dislodge it . I went to the Hospital they had to bring in a special throat Doctor and sedate me after two hours of them sticking a probe through my nose and down my throat . Some comments praise their pizza as New York style. Oh, excuse me? I am from NYC and there is no comparison. The dough is chewy and undercooked.fheir sauce tends to be bland and the cheese does not live up to high standards. On the good side the service is good and the decor is inviting. I have not tried any of their othrr dishes so I won't comment on that I have been living in the Philly area for 4 years and have only had decent pizza on a few occasions. I don't want to sound like a NY snob (love North Jersey pizza) but even the smallest pizzeria in NY delivers a good to excellent slice.
