We had an early dinner on a Friday night, so the place was really empty. We will had a pretty long wait for a server and she seemed kinda annoyed we were there and at any of our questions about the menu. The food took a really long time to come out, which normally I don't mind waiting as long as the food is worth it, but it wasn't. It was decent Italian and we did enjoy the calamari and the mozzarella and eggplant stack, but both pastas were very greasy. The cocktails were your basic options, would probably do wine or a beer if we return. The saving times of this place were the cheesecakes! The chef's mom makes them homemade and they were incredible! The three stars all go to the cheesecake!

This restaurant is located on the corner of West Chester Pike and Eagle Road. We've been to their old location but never this one which we've driven by many times. There's a downstairs bar with a few tables and a small upstairs dining room. That's where we sat one warm Friday night by the open window. We started off with cocktails and an eggplant and mozzarella tower which was breaded with Panko and served with rosa sauce. Although it wasn't quite what I had in mind, it was still good, and I liked how much sauce there was. I also had the mussels (a special) which were in a delicious broth while my husband enjoyed another special featuring chicken. Overall, it was good, but I'm not sure what would draw us back for a second visit.

I was shocked to find such high-quality food in such a run-down suburban mess of concrete! We had lovely outdoor seating experience despite being next to the Starbuck's, and the service was efficient and professional. The prices are high for the area but more than match the quality of the food in my opinion. My only small disappointment was with the slightly chewy and cold bread served. We will definitely be coming back!

Words cannot describe how wonderful the food is especially the homemade desserts. We are creatures of habit and once again ordered the chicken parmesean this time I ordered rigatoni as my pasta. I was hoping for the ricotta cheesecake with raspberry sauce but had to settle on this chocolate chip cheesecake also made with ricotta cheese OMG...MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH

Overpriced, salty, sloppy food and not nit professional at all . I felt like we were dining at a funeral luncheon. It was not good.

Always great food but disappointed recently under happy hour because their drink prices are outrageous. $16 for a glass of red wine come on.

My parents come here periodically, and I'd been trying to join them on one of my visits back home,…read morebut on a couple occasions we couldn't get reservations, and then the third time, we got one but it turned out they were going to be closed that week for a post New Year's vacation. Fast forward to this latest visit home. I finally secured a reservation...but then late yesterday afternoon my mom's knee started acting up to the point where she could barely stand on it. Fortunately, ice, Advil and rest overnight--and my mom really, really wanting to come here--kept us on track, and tonight I finally made it. It's a cozy spot, and I can see it making an excellent date night, especially since the BYOB setup allows you to bring the wine of your choice (and save some $$). We were seated promptly--this Sunday was relatively mellow--and the servers were super accommodating about removing a chair so that my mom's walker could occupy the unused space on our four-top. The menu is what I call right-sized. It may seem smallish, but there is a strategic assortment of salads and apps, pastas and mains (and, of course, desserts) that is sure to accommodate everyone. Dean, the young man who would go on to do an outstanding job taking care of us for the night (with the other two servers chipping in seamlessly as needed), went through the specials. My mom was particularly intrigued by a squid-ink fettucine with lobster and shrimp (and cherry tomatoes) in a saffron cream sauce. Could we split it as an app, we asked? Would it be too much food? On Dean's advice, we went ahead, while my dad got the mussels. All three of us ordered the pork chop, which my parents have been raving about for a couple years now. How could I not try it? Ordering finished, bread and olive oil (with a bit of balsamic) arrived at the table. Knowing I had a pasta coming and that the pork chop was a good-sized portion, I didn't want to overdo it, which I think was ultimately a good choice. The bread took the edge off, and then the pasta arrived. It was just the right amount for two people to share as an app, and we both enjoyed it, while my dad loved his mussels (and then dunked lots of his bread in it). Then came the main event. The pork chop lived up to (and frankly, exceeded) the hype. It was tender and perfectly cooked and oh-so-flavorful. Definitely one of the best I've ever eaten, and this isn't my first pork-chop rodeo. It was accompanied by asparagus and yummy baby Yukon Gold potatoes; I left a view of the latter, not because they weren't yummy but rather because the pork chop was huge and I was not skipping dessert. For dessert, I went with the house-made cannoli, which was a lovely, sweet (but not oversweet) ending to an excellent meal. I'd be happy to come back to Burrata anytime.

The waiters were very attentive. The menu was limited but has something for everyone. I went with the Chicken Parmiginia. The sauce was flavorful and delicious. The chicken was so tender and the portion size was just right. Not overwhelming at all. My wife had the squid ink pasta in a white wine and garlic sauce with crab meat. She didn't leave a morsel. We were amazed at how good our food was and why we hadn't dine here before. We split a mixed greens salad which was also delicious with apples. Topped it off with Strawberry Gelato and Limoncello cake. We had a great date night and can't wait to go back. Very reasonably priced and also a BYOB. So grab your friends or family, some adult beverages and have a wonderful dining experience. Burrata we will be back and sooner then later.

My brother had already told me that the food was good but I wanted to experience for myself... We were seated inside almost in the middle of the restaurant and had a great view of the tv (on the night we visited, the 76ers were playing in the semi-finals, so our seating was PERFECT! We placed our order with the waiter - hush puppies, chicken waffle skewers, hubby ordered some kind of sandwich with pulled chicken and I ordered the BBQ Blackened Shrimp. The chicken and waffle skewers and hush puppies were the "stars" of our dining experience - the chicken was tender yet had a nice crunch and the skewer ingredients as a whole were savory and the hush puppies had well balanced flavor and the slight crispness of them was so satisfying. Hubby's sandwich was pretty good - the chicken was juicy and tender and his fries were nice and crispy and seasoned with precision. The BBQ Blackened Shrimp missed the mark for me - if I could do it again, I'd order this minus the bread. The bread was too much and was just odd for me but I enjoyed everything else that came with this dish... Overall, we left satisfied. The service was excellent, the staff were pleasant, diligent and attentive and the atmosphere is very relaxed. This place is definitely a great neighborhood gem that everyone should try! P. S. I saw several people order the mac and cheese and each time that I watched the servers bring it out, it made my mouth water, but I didn't have an appetite for mac and cheese on the day of my visit but I would definitely try it on my next!

Originally cited in a municipal parking lot, a few years ago it moved to the grounds of Grace Chapel, 1/2 block away from it's original location. Yesterday was my first actual visit to the market, despite being in the area since before it's inception. It's one of those "Oh, shoot, I meant to go there and check it out" places. Finally, I did and am happy for it! This is not a large market. There were maybe 10 - 12 vendors there. Five of them were local farmers, including one selling organic heirloom vegetables. It was nice having the variety, so many farmer's markets these days have more soap, cake, flower, and other vendors and few actual food growers. The other five or so stands though were a nice variety. One sold beautiful fresh flower arrangements. One was a local butcher selling chicken, beef and pork. One was a charcuterie with interesting varieties of hand made sausage and salume. There was a gelato stand, a woman who makes unbelievably good cookies and a woman selling Irish Victory Cakes. That was new to me. What the heck are Irish Victory Cakes? Tecup sized bundt cakes full of cake heaven. (They also sell larger sized victory cakes). Yes, I bought them. No, I'm not sharing. Check out MacDougall's Irish Victory Cakes online. All of the stands were local, the farthest coming from South Jersey (vegetables, corn picked that day, mmmmmmmm) and Lancaster (the largest and sweetest non - Visalia sweet onion I have ever had, grilled perfection for dinner last night, folks). It's a nice place, friendly, well laid out, not too big to be overwhelming but big enough to offer a good variety. Parking is pretty easy, half the Chapel lot is reserved for visitor parking and there's also some parking on Darby and on the side streets. The market happens from 3- 7 PM every Wednesday during spring-summer-early fall. I'll definitely be back.
