Even though they don't list iced coffee drinks on their menu, they still make them! Also, when a breakfast place advertises pinto beans as a side with breakfast, one has to try it, right? This has been quite a wonderful experience. They have some of their breakfast items on the menu (aka breakfast for dinner), but they have also expanded into some wonderful sandwiches, burritos, wings, burgers. The menu is the quality yumminess that everyone enjoys during the morning/brunch, but now with dinner. Great choice in Ashland! read more

Just had an excellent dinner. Nice omelette filled with veggies plus a very generous side of fruit, and "Tuscan Grill" sandwich with tender chicken breast, pesto red peppers on fresh ciabatta roll and very tasty coleslaw with perfect balance of flavors in dressing. Plus friendly staff! read more

I tried the Hauavos Rancheros and really wasn't sure what to expect of that in Ashland, Oregon. Wow, my wife and I had not been there since the new owners took over. I'm always concerned that my old favorite recipes will go by the wayside or the surface and quality will not be as good as previously. But brothers has done just the opposite their food, service Was better than previous. And to make things even better, they kept many of the old recipes but improved on them in flavor. The ambience here is quaint and charming. The wait-staff were patient, kind, attentive and helpful. I think this is one of my new favorite breakfast joints! My pancake, potato cakes, and breakfast burrito were great. Man, the potato cakes were thick and perfectly seasoned....mmmm good. The sun dried tomato scone was also AMAZING! The corned beef hash was questionable though...more of a corned beef chunks. My husband missed having the shredded corned beef. Driving from Portland to SF, and needed to grab a breakfast. Stopped in because their menu looked delicious online, and IT REALLY WAS! We split up the Salmon and Mediterranean Scrambles and even though they were out of feta, they had chèvre, so we put that on both and man did it tie them both together! The coffee is also on point! I never get refills, but this place is still serving up bottomless. Haven't seen that in a while! Great service and food. Food reviews among the dining group were mixed with no particular standouts one way or the other. Somewhat elevated prices but this is expected downtown. Ok so Brother's wasn't our first choice for breakfast before heading out of town. We were only in Ashland over night and needed to fill up our tanks (tummies) before getting back on the road. It may not have been out first choice but let me tell you it was the BEST choice!!!! The pancakes were big, fluffy and tasty but I'm gonna talk for a second about the syrup. In all my years of going out for breakfast and having pancakes this was a first for me. The syrup container was FULL and NOT sticky. No really it was full and clean. That's number one win for Brother's! Now on to the best of the best. I'm from the Midwest and spent time in the Army and well Biscuits and Gravy are a staple in our diets. The biscuits and gravy at Brothers was next level. There was something very tiny but sweet that they must add into the gravy but boy did it match up perfectly. Other then homemade at home this was the best B&G I've ever had!!!!! Hopefully I can sweet talk the Mrs when we pass back through on our way home wish me luck The staff was outstanding with their friendliness and attentiveness. The scramble was full of ingredients, and literally oozed with flavor. Every bite I could taste the spinach, kalamata olives, feta cheese and sun dried tomatoes!! Did I say DELICIOUS yet? Ordered the triple decker turkey club and the Rueben around 8am and it was still fresh when I ate it at 1:30p at Crater Lake! The turkey sandwich was my favorite out of the two, so much turkey! It was great. The Rueben was good but the sandwich was a bit more on the drier side. The rye bread tasted a bit stale so it was harder to chow down. The serving size is huge too! My girlfriend and I couldn't only ate half of each sandwich, even after a 2 mile hike! Literally the MOST expensive breakfast I've ever had. I live in Ashland, so the price of things and food tax is not surprising to me. But every other breakfast restaurant I've been to has not been NEARLY this expensive. After tip, it was SIXTY dollars for two people to have breakfast. My mom and I both ordered the potato pancakes, which was reasonable that it was $15. However, it did not come with any other food besides applesauce, which is not nearly as much food as you'd usually get when ordering breakfast. So, we each ordered a side of scrambled eggs which was almost $6 each. Which is a lot more than you would pay for a whole dozen eggs at the grocery store. And the regular drip coffee was an insane $5. On top of the food tax, they charged extra to use a card rather than cash, which I have NEVER seen at a restaurant. I hadn't been to Brother's until today, and unfortunately will not be going back. I understand that this is a tourist town, but there are still people who live here and they are not all extremely wealthy. read more

Service was friendly and prompt. I had the Sky High Pastrami with fries and my wife had a pastrami sandwich with side of soup. Wife thought the pastrami was a little salty, but I thought it was good. Definitely quality meat and the rye was grilled to perfection. My only constructive criticisms would be to do the fries crispier and that I probably wouldn't call the Sky High sandwich that because it implies a tall stack of meat that you might expect otherwise. Disappointed. I ordered the huevos rancheros with poached eggs. The egg whites were clear and runny, it was inedible. Also piled high with very acidic stewed tomatoes which I hadn't expected for this dish. The house coffee was also expensive at $5 per mug making my breakfast almost $30 with tip. A perfect little breakfast place sitting right off the first corner in their quaint downtown area. Due to COVID (that has become the montra of our "new normal") they have a limited menu but all items are available all day. Our crew had the corned beef hash with carrot cake scone, biscuits and gravy, house made chicken soup with savory scone. We really enjoyed almost everything. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the gravy. It wasn't bad by any means, just lacked flavor in our opinion. The corned beef hash was TERRIFIC! I wish I could leave a negative star rating cus this place should just close. They are giving you Sysco level food with a location location location tax. 2 shitty pancakes were over $10. Stale tortilla chips with their flavorless, overcooked omelette and old salsa. This place is like what they feed poor people in nursing homes, only it's 3x the price of food that's the same caliber because their rent is probably 4-5k per month being that they have one of the best locations in town. OH! Off of Main Street this little gem serves the BEST scramble and scones we have had. I ordered the salmon scramble. It was elegantly delicious. The Sockeye salmon was super fresh and gently cooked. The pesto added just the perfect flavor for my mid morning brunch. My friends ordered the Mediterranean scramble which was equally as delicious.
