Excellent local business for breakfast/lunch. Close everyday by 2pm. A casual all American dinner. Heading to Costco and wanted to find a local business nearby for brunch. We all have very different requirements, but this place had something for everyone; vegetarian friendly. Super clean and looks recently renovated. Lots of booth seating for larger groups. Pleasant and efficient service even on a weekend *smiles* Veggie Omelet did not disappoint. Lots of fresh cut veggies including mushrooms and topped with avocado slices and cheddar cheese. What I really appreciated... Our table just LOVES substitutions *brace yourself* They didn't even flinch and everything was presented EXACTLY AS ORDERED! A very pleasant and welcoming local breakfast spot. Very casual. Every entree comes with plenty of sides and every meal is a full meal. Not low-carb centric but they will certainly make it work *thumbs up* We will definitely come back for more *smiles* If you bothered to read this far... it's worth mentioning that they have a local business commissioned to update their hand painted window signage AND the single gentleman in his 80's was clearly a regular and enjoyed his time. With the positive reviews here was expecting more and unfortunately we were left wanting. Went for breakfast and got your standard fare, eggs, hash browns, toast, sausage and a waffle. There was an odd flavor to the savory items, perhaps the oil or butter used for cooking so things just didn't have any flavor besides that. Did enjoy the waffle, turkey sausage, and the sourdough had a nice bite to it. The restaurant itself was nice enough and our server was kind, but food not somewhere we'd come back for. read more

Disappointed in the size and quality. I ordered a full size biscuits and gravy. Gravy taste like from a can and has zero sausage bits, to much pepper taste. biscuits are only store bought not home made and have the taste of preservatives. read more

Disappointing long wait, but good food and service @ The Palms Cafe in Medford, OR. We were seated upon entry and received friendly service throughout our time here. The wait for the food was longer than expected especially since the restaurant was not too busy at all. The booth also had crumbs on its cushion topped seats. When we did get food, one of us had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the entree because of some kind of confusion in the kitchen?.. but we were told our coffees were comped for the trouble. The food was delicious and we were more than full, but we wouldn't go out of our way to come back unless it will be convenient at the time because of their location. read more

I arrived here thinking I'd face a longer wait time after running two errands in the neighborhood (dropping off a donation at Goodwill and getting my propane tank exchanged in the neighboring Grange) and yet I lucked out and was seated right away. this is my families go to breakfast spot!! their Eggs Benedict is the best in the valley!! but I really enjoy their skillets as well. it is a smaller space so there can be a wait during the morning rush but the booths are huge and can fit a good size family without being cramped! and it's worth the wait so don't be discouraged! read more

Absolutely the worst restaurant ever. My order was wrong, hamburger was like a hockey puck, serving size was very small for $15.00!!!!!!! We will never go back here. We waited for abot 10 minutes for anyone to even say we'll be with you soon. Another couple came in before the girl came up to offer a table and then questioned us about being there first. She seated us at a fold up table with folding chairs. We finally ordered. Our food was tasty but my poached eggs were hard and there was a hair in my food. I told the waitress and all she said was "oh they're all bald back there" again, questioning our honesty. My appetite was gone and I was very disappointed. She removed my meal from our bill and we left. I could have been rude about it but I stayed calm. Nobody even apologized or said thank you. I've never been treated so rudely before. I would not recommend The Palms to anyone. read more

It was 1 hour and 10 minutes from when we entered the Cafe and we.got our food. Service is very slow. For the most part, food was tasteless My wife's pancake was.raw so they took it back and claimed they put it back on the grill. Pretty sure it was microwaved. Country gravey was thin and flavorless. Chicken fried steak had a tasty crust, but the steak had no flavor and appeared to be a frozen, store bought mess I quite honestly have had better breakfasts at hotels and they're free. read more

We have been here many times and satisfied with food and service. Today we came by and there were several booths dirty, so we left - tan an errand and returned. Upon our return the waitress pointed towards a booth that had a receipt on it and indicated she would be by to clean it if we wanted that one. We sat down. She came by - did a swipe on the table and missed most of the mess. We asked for a rag to finish up - not upset just thinking we could help out. She then abruptly said "I told you guys not to sit at a dirty table so you're just going to have to wait." We were blown away by this inappropriate interaction in front of other customers. We were so embarrassed to be spoken to that way that we left. Sad - no longer returning here after this treatment. We were just trying to be a helper. This is not just a bad day- this is unacceptable way to treat people. Period. read more

Not only is the food AMAZING, but the atmosphere is so nice and cozy! If I could tho, I would change out the chairs to something more comfortable for my bum!
