I learned that branzino isn't something they always keep in stock, so it's best to call ahead and order. While I was there, I also picked up thyme, rosemary, lemon, red onions, regular onions, and honey, which saved me a trip to the grocery store. The shop was very clean and didn't have that strong fishy smell, which I liked. I was greeted right away, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great shopping experience. The selection of seafood available for purchase was minimal. We opt for oysters, shrimp, crab legs and crawfish. We made the purchase and returned home for a shrimp boil, seafood feast. Bottom line, the crawfish were black inside and not eatable and the oysters were old to the point that you had to over steam them in order to harvest any meat. Bottom line, we paid top dollar for less than satisfactory seafood. Maybe this was an off day for this business, but I don't know when I will be on vacation in this area again in order to give them another chance at redemption and I couldn't find any other reviews for them, so this is all I can offer for now.

The two individuals already inside said they were waiting to be serviced and were not told the market was closed. The owner was not at the market, so there was no explanation for allowing the customer in while it was closed. If they were closed, the open Sign should have been off and the entrance locked.
