Last week, I called ahead and ordered two branzino with Pete. He cleaned and scaled them for me, which I really appreciated since it was my first time cooking this fish. I was a little nervous, but also excited--and Pete made the whole process easy. He was very pleasant to talk to. I learned that branzino isn't something they always keep in stock, so it's best to call ahead and order. While I was there, I also picked up thyme, rosemary, lemon, red onions, regular onions, and honey, which saved me a trip to the grocery store. The shop was very clean and didn't have that strong fishy smell, which I liked. I was greeted right away, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great shopping experience. I'm already planning to order a whole red snapper next--or maybe even baby back ribs--since ordering here is so easy. I'll attach photos of how the branzino turned out. read more

I started going to Saltwater Markets during Covid to have something good to eat on the weekends and haven't stopped going. I mow frequently Fort Mill store. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff and great selection of seafood. If you have questions how to cook, just ask! read more

Wow, welcome to the neighborhood! I knew they had a location in Gastonia, NC & Clover, SC and word was out they were opening in Fort Mill so today was their second day open. I was looking for a rub or seasoning for grilling shrimp. I got an assist from a young man named Jackson who said he had been working with Clint & Elizabeth for a while in their Clover, SC location. He was very helpful and talked to me about a couple of options but I decided to go with the JO seasoning by a company out of Baltimore, MD. I also snagged a bottle of Shore Points Blackened seasoning for seafood, steak and pork. I checked out the menu of all their fresh fish. There are a lot of salmon and trout options. You can see the listing in the photos. My Barber, Rodney Hulsey, who has a shop in Fort Mill and lives in Clover had told me they were coming and to keep an eye out. They have a great location right behind the QT at the corner of Pleasant Road and Gold Hill Rd. It looks to be a new development with several other stores and shops in the process of building out. A friendly and helpful staff and very fresh seafood. They also have quite a few seasonings, sauces and choices for boils, They expect to have fresh cut beef options in the very near future. Tried the Red Ruby Trout and it was fantastic. The customer service was great and friendly. I was so excited to find a fish market nearby with such fresh choices. Going back today to get their fresh halibut. Also pick up their scampi butter to put on everything. Their shrimp came in that morning from Beaufort, SC and the scallops looked wonderful. THE BEST!!!! If great seafood matters to you this (they have meat and other things too) this is the place to go. While you may pay a couple of bucks more it is worth every penny. Always a great variety, always fresh, always helpful and always friendly. It's easy to get to and worth the drive even at todays gas prices. read more
