I have been very patient with Anthony Broussard I understand he is busy but this is not right!! When he installed my new roof I had a patio that needed repair he recommend that when they changed my roof he could fix my patio. For an additional fee and I buy the product for the patio repair. They put some kind of Silicone sealant on it that never worked. He did come by a number of times to try and resolve the problem but it always leaked after a few rain days. I don't understand how he has such high ratings and am very disappointed at the fact that he doesn't answer my text anymore. Andre seemed like a good contractor and person but did not follow through with problems I discovered with the roof and skylight he installed on my home once he, so-called, completed the job. I had emailed and called him multiple times and only once received a response, promising to send someone to resolve issues, this never happened. Lack of concern when problems occur is the easy solution for Andre and his company. He also installed a natural gas line to my fireplace; it was agreed that he would conceal the line within my garage and under the house. He installed it on the surface of the exterior stucco for everyone to enjoy! When I asked him why?? he proceeded to whined that it was too difficult to install the way we agreed. Andre also installed ridge vent on my roof and provided a gap between the roofing and vent for rats to enter attic Stay away from this joker and if you don't, good luck! read more

Just before Christmas 2018 our roof started to leak.Called the next day to about 5 companies and Andre out of the 5,was one of the 2 people who replied instantly and would come out the next day i think since there was a break in the weather.Great quick response co close to the holiday season.Every thing was great he went up took pictures and did a repair for $175.Now it was when he came back down to tell us we can get a permanent fix down some down the road.Well it started to leack again about 3 weeks later.Called him he promptly came out.Our problem was that we where never given the choice of a permanent fix so we ended up paying anothet $275 for the permanent fix...so basically we blew $175 .....i wonder why we where never given a choice it would have been a no brainer to get a permanent fix. read more

They did our roof 5 years ago and during an inspection while selling some things came up that needed addressed. Andre was extremely arrogant and rude on the phone and claimed I was being had and this is how inspections go to get money off the house. However, we've had to have them do one repair already that didn't take and then we're ignored. He does not stand by his work, claims it was done perfectly. Well, I have documentation stating otherwise. When I asked if he'd come and look at it, he asked who was gonna reimburse him for his wasted time! Experts, true professionals, couldn't be happier: I am so glad I chose Broussard Roofing to repair my roof several months ago. I was pleased immediately with the service but I decided to wait for more rain to happen before writing a review. I did not want to spend any money at all on my roof. I was unhappy before starting the process...I thought about putting it off, patching it myself etc. It is not cheap to have roof work done. I am very happy that I did not procrastinate and that I chose to spend the money on maintaining the roof over my head. I consider myself lucky to find and use the pros at Broussard. Roof came out ok and completed in a reasonable amount of time. My issue with them is the winter following the install there was leaking around sky lights. Nearly 3 weeks to get them out to take a look and attempt repair. Repair worked for a couple rains but eventually leaked again. Several phone calls and no response. They just finished my roof repair and preventative measures before El Nino is supposed to hit. I am glad I went by his Yelp reviews. As soon as we met him, we knew he was THE ONE-you could just tell he knew what he was doing and he was honest and responsible. I asked for many estimates and not only was he the lowest (by MORE than half on some and one person who fixed my neighbor's roof,he was less by 6,500.00!!!), he was the one I immediately trusted as he said he can do it in one day and the reason others are charging more is that they were going to do it in two days! He was honest in his pricing and fair-after his price I felt the others were gouging me! QUALITY WORK at the BEST PRICE-excellent service and manners. The men that came today were very nice and hard working-perfectionists which I am that way as well-they took pride in their work. Despite the busy season and some telling me they won't have time til December to fix the roof and others 3-4 weeks out, this company finished early on another project and fitted me right in as he projected. We had a window leaking in the dining room 3 windows tall and not exactly sure where it was breached. He was able to come the morning the day after I called and quickly diagnose the problem - including the errors in our failed attempts to repair ourselves. He took measurements of what had to be replaced and fixed it the next week. When it stormed not a drop cane in the house. Very pleased with the high quality work and friendly service. A 3 to 4 week estimated start date ended up 5 weeks for a 2 day project....that took the best part of a week to complete . The finished new gutters had holes that required a call back to fill them. I believe some better project coordination and client communication is needed. read more

I recently had a disaster at my home-due to faulty construction of my roof in my garage the roof was almost collapsing in on itself with the chance of it taking down my side wall with it. The insurance company denied coverage- don't you love those insurance companies!!!! Anyway, I called every roofer on Yelp and quite a few construction companies. People came, looked, shook their head, and commiserated with me. I waited for a few weeks before anyone called back and they were going to send engineers for plans etc etc etc. Meanwhile my roof was in imminent danger of falling in on itself. Finally I called Andre. He came in, diagnosed the problem immediately, and had a solution immediately, which was the same solution I had told everyone-remove the tiles, remove the framing, install a new frame and replace the tiles. He was not phased at all by the scope of the work . He got to work measuring everything, to order the new trusses and framing, said it would be about a week and then would be back to do the job. He kept his word and that is exactly what happened. He was extremely professional and a great communicator. His guys came every day and just got on with everything. He was amazing. He also got all the permits pulled without a hitch and did his own drawings for those. If you are looking for someone you can trust, who knows their business inside out, is a great communicator, is extremely reliable and, on top of that gives you a good price, then look no further-Andre is your man. Broussard Roofing fixed a leak that caused a water damage insurance claim. Another company quoted a higher bid to rip out more stucco which would require repainting the side wall of the 2 story house to cover the patch where roof/gutter/stucco met. Andre 'surgically' eliminated the cause of the leak and the small patch was barely visible, requiring just a little touch-up paint. Broussard offered the same 3 year warranty and saved me a good deal of money. ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS. Window frames separate from the exterior with '"hair line" cracks. Insurance company contractor tested with a garden hoses and infra red moisture detection, around windows inside my unopened walls. You can caulk the exterior frame of your windows/doors during the summer ahead of the rain season and eliminate potential BIG $$ out-of-pocket. Water damage is the #1 home owner claim and insurance doesn't cover lack of maintenance. They require a elephant crash into your house during a storm. read more

In 1999 he was recommended by two nearby neighbors for whom he had installed new roofs. I had a 40 year roof installed, he did an excellent job. In 2011 I called him about putting in some venting in my roof over the newly insulated garage, and he suggested a roof line vent, which is invisible but worked great, plus he installed a wonderful suntunnel into my very dark cave of a laundry room, making a world of difference in the light at the end of that hallway. In 8 years that tunnel has never leaked, so I am one happy camper! Heartily recommend, does great work, wonderful to work with, on time, and reasonably priced. read more

My mom got her roof done almost 10 years ago by Broussard Roofing, and this past rain it started leaking. She called Andre Broussard to see what it would take to get it fixed. Andre came out multiple times and made sure that the leak was fixed. Never once charged her for it and really backed up his work. It was a very small section of the roof that had a hole and he went up there in the middle of a rain storm and while getting completely drenched he fixed the leak and it hasn't come back. After receiving several very negative reports on the condition of the roof of the rental property we have in Brentwood, indicating at the roof was too damaged to repair, stating unequivocally that it was "beyond it's serviceable life" and need to be "replaced now". Andre Broussard, owner of the Broussard Roofing Co, was one of six roofing companies we called and requested an inspection and quote as respects any repairs. One said the roof could be repaired and they would give a 5 year warranty on the repaired roof, three said that while it needed to be replaced entirely now, only Broussard said very honestly that the "Roof looks to be in fair condition and could last a few more years." But, wanting to get a solid sale without future problems, I took Andre's suggestion to simply cover the existing roofing material with new 30 year GAF reflector series high definition composition shingles. He confirmed that the existing roofing was in good enough condition to remain as a sweat barrier, and would avoid the need for additional felt underlayment paper, as the roof would not be removed. In two days from the start date, the roof was completed, it looks terrific and the workmanship is so good, you cannot even tell the new roofing is covering the original roof that was installed in 1987. The pricing was very good, the installation warranty is for 10 years, the cleanup was efficient and the workmen were very cooperative and easy to work with. The tract of homes where my house is located in Brentwood has many, many homes in the same neighborhood with roofing in similar condition to mine at 30 plus years. This solution can save a lot of money if you don't have to tear off the old roofing to get the job done. He set the expectation from the start that he was super busy but would get to us in two weeks and he did exactly that. The work he suggested and completed was exactly what was needed for an ongoing leak problem and this was something never previously suggested by the original roofing company who is large and well known in Brentwood CA. We used Andre at Broussard Roofing almost 3 years ago to fix our leaking roof and were impressed with his detailed work, his explanations and his professionalism. After the last heavy downpour, our roof appeared to be leaking in the same area again, so we called him back up. He responded promptly, and spent a fair amount of time up on our roof. When he was finished he let us know, (and showed us a picture), of a large accumulation of leaves which had caused a dam, backing up a pool of water where it could not drain. He cleared out all the gunk, and even resealed all the areas where the water had backed up, (which shouldn't happen again). This was not his fault, but he fixed the problem anyway at no charge. A little over a year ago I bought an old house and a month in to living there the small attached flat roof started leaking. I called a few companies but Broussard Roofing had the best quote for price and time the job could be done. I was extremely happy with the job. Everything was fixed quickly and they gave me photo updates along the way. The roof is warranted for 3 years so when I got up this morning and saw around the same area it was leaking I called them straight away. Andre was over at my house within the hour to see what was wrong. Completely my fault and the drain and gutters were blocked with leaves and since it has been pouring the standing water backed up over the flat roof.
