Got my eyebrows done. The workers don't even clean their hands between customers. I find that unsanitary. They should at least use hand sanitizer. I informed a lady named Shava that I am very sensitive about my eyebrows and only wanted a clean-up. However, she completely altered their shape, made them look uneven, and cut them incorrectly. For days, I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror without stressing over the unevenness. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she tried to assure me that they looked the same, but her coworker agreed that she had ruined the shape. The ONLY employee I trusted, Kripa, no longer works there. This company should have taken better care of Kripa and ensured she was happy to remain with them. I really hate to leave a bad review but I'm so disappointed. I have been getting my brows threaded for years and going to Brow Arc to see Kripa for the last year but, sadly, was told she is no longer with the company. I decided to give someone new a try... Shova was the artist who helped me. She was unprofessional and unpleasant. I can look past her smacking her gum in my ear but she got her finger in my eye twice, leaned against my face and caught my eyelashes in her thread (natural, no makeup). She spent maybe 1 minute with me and my brows came out uneven and shorter. I'm so disappointed and will not be going back. When Kripa was there, the other artists would laugh when I requested her. I think the joke was that their salon was packed but everyone was waiting patiently for Kripa as the other artists on staff stood idly by. Now, I understand why they had no customers to tend to. I had been to this location four times before I decided to buy a membership, which I bought at the Coddingtown location, when I came back to the plaza brow arc had moved downstairs. When it came time for me to get my eyebrows done again, which is every two weeks or so. My membership couldn't be found and was told I needed a receipt. To show proof I signed up, after looking through my purse frantically, I was told they would need to look up my profile, and found out my name was spelled incorrectly and last name of different and they had me living in Washington! She said she would keep my receipt so she could change everything at the end of the night! What why? I had a unlimited three month membership and had two months left. Came back one more time and still couldn't find my membership! Waste of money and time. Too bad because they have an excellent business just not excellent business practices. read more

I have had my eyebrows threaded many times in many different cities, and I have met enough true professionals to know when someone doesn't know what they are doing. I have very full eyebrows, or rather I did. Generally full eyebrows are seen as a gift and well-shaped and clean fullness is stunning. I am about to sound super picky and crazy over eyebrows, but I think I should be honest because I know I'm not the only person who is picky about her eyebrows. Generally I recommend threading over waxing because it's quicker, cheaper, and more precise (none of which was true in this case -- they charge waaaay too much for an under-par job). I went in to this store upstairs in the mall on a Wednesday afternoon. The one woman working asked no questions, she just dove in and cut the fullness of my eyebrows in half. When I politely said something to her about how thin they were, she said, "you don't like thin? They look nice." I was shocked that she would take off half of my eyebrow without saying or asking anything! In addition, they were uneven, as the left one was noticeably thinner. When I pointed this out to her, she said they looked even to her, but she offered to fix it. She started to take more off the already thinner eyebrow though, so I stopped her. I didn't want her taking more off, especially considering she couldn't see how they were uneven in the first place. I will admit that they don't look "bad" -- they look fine for thin eyebrows, but I had really pretty full ones! She is not experienced with brows, that much is clear (I can't speak for the woman working at the kiosk downstairs, maybe she was better). I was able to go to the Benefit Brow Bar in Macy's and buy some product to fill in and even out my eyebrows, and they look good now (I probably should have gone there in the first place to have them waxed). I was hoping that threading had finally made it to Sonoma County, but it seems, ladies, that it is still a thing for the big cities, and we will just have to wait. read more

Not to mention during COVID I was not able to go in to get my eyebrows done did them myself and butched them and she was able to fix them up. I saw that Brow Art in the mall only had 3 reviews on Yelp so it almost prevented me from going to this place. But alas, Brow Art was the only one open on Sunday in SR and I absolutely could not wait any longer to get my eyebrows done. They are a little on the expensive side for threading ($15 for eyebrows) but the lady did a fantastic job with my eyebrows. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years now and I have tried a ton of places and people in this time. Threading is a skill and I was glad to discover that Brow Art had a skillful employee (I can't remember her name, sorry). My review is for Kripa she's the best, I've been going to Brow arc since 2015 off and on. I met Kripa about a year ago and she's done my brows ever since. Shes amazing, everyone does their brows differently and she definitely listens to your request. Just sit in the chair explain what's your ideal look briefly and sit back and relax. She has a certain technique that doesn't make you flinch every time they pull the hair, she's gentle and gives a great brow massage afterwards. I try to go every month. Shes there during the week ! The worst, the worst, once you pay the membership you become "scum" to them. I drive from Petaluma to have my brows done, I walk in and "Harjinders sister", ( one of the employees there) gives me a dirty look and tells me she is "having her lunch." Can I come back in 20 minutes??? All the 3 women are having lunch at the same time?? Really then close the shop and say you are closed for lunch urrrggghh. I come back after 20 minutes they are still eating/drinking and 7 minutes later one of them gets up and rudely asks me if I am a member or not??? Then they make my brows soo thin, I have to constantly tell them how thick I want them...still have about 4 threadings to go but am soo disappointed I want to just let them keep them... It was my first ever threading experience and I am very happy overall! it went by pretty fast and didnt cost me much either. This place has the worst customer service ever. Went in because my sister wanted to get her eyebrows done. Old lady was rude as fuck. When my sister went to sign up at the counter she didn't greet her or anything she just told her "sit" in a rude tone of voice. She took less than 2 minutes to do them which makes me think she was rushing. Lady seems like she hates her job and should ready consider retiring. After she was done my sister went to pay for the half ass job. It was 15$ my sister handed her a 20 and she didn't have change. What kind of business are you running if you don't have 5$ change? There was 5$ in the tip jar but instead of taking it out and handing it to my sister I had to use my credit card to pay. Absurd. I starting going here quite some time ago because I had been going to the place in Petaluma Outlets (had been only threading place nearby for awhile, now there are plenty of options!). I went twice and then got a "discount card", buy 6 ahead I believe. Huge mistake. Once you purchase one they treat you like shit. I've had to wait forever even when it isn't busy in there and once they know you have a card, they will let others go before you who are not "members". I actually walked out the last time and never went back despite still having two threadings left to use. As for the actual work, hit and miss. One time they went WAY too thin. My mom asked if she can trim her brows but she just started threading and pulled a giant patch of hair out of my moms brows! I also got a henna and it's terrible! I could do better than her. When I came, they seemed to be in a rush, and the lady didn't even ask me what I wanted. She did the whole thing without letting me look in the mirror until the very end, and by then it was too late. When I first went in, the lady talked me in to buying a 6 visit pass. No problem with the pass, per se, they always find me & I haven't gotten attitude. First visit, my brows ended up uneven, two different shapes, two different angles, and neither of which is what I like. I told her this and she just said they looked even to her. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Had my brothers do their eyebrows & I don't think she could've rushed anymore than she did. One of my brothers eyebrows are arched & the other straight. Chunk missing. Absolutely terrible! Didn't have alcohol wipes so they wouldn't break out, next day they had break outs ALL OVER their forehead! Pretty expensive 32$ for both but with a terrible job & also we was short 2$ and wouldn't At least let us go with such a terrible job nor do anything about the horrible work she done. I have been growing in my thinning brows for months, and had been going to Ulta to get them done. They understood my goal of thicker (not pencil thin) brows and shaped them well while they were SLOWLY filling in. I couldn't get to Ulta, and stopped at Brow Arc yesterday. I explained carefully what I wanted. The brow tech said she understood. She then proceeded to not only give my brow an unpleasing shape to to leave them pencil thin. I was so ticked off. People who grow thick lush brows don't understand how long it takes to grow them out. I was really unhappy with my eyebrows from the benefit brow a few months ago so i decided to grow them out so i could have a fresh new shape. Today, I stopped by the mall to do a little shopping and saw the brow threading station and asked how much it cost ($15) since there are no prices posted. I sat down in the chair and she was done within a few minutes. They were exactly what I wanted and didnt even have to tell her what I liked or how I wanted them.
