I would not trust by brows with anyone else...but 5ish years ago, I did and had them microbladed. The pigment faded to a greenish/blue over the years and Heather came to the rescue. I got a same day appointment with Heather as she had a cancellation and so glad i went in! She asked what method I preferred for my eyebrows and I let her chose. I explained my concerns and how horrible and uneven they looked as I was seeing different people constantly bc of my move from CA to NC. She cleaned them up and didn't leave the end of them super skinny (it looked horrible) like and the beginnings thick like the threading places were doing. Let me start by saying I have never been a big makeup person and the couple times a week that I do wear it, I wear very minimal. Recently, I felt like my eyebrows were looking thin on the tails and started trying to fill them in, but really hated spending so much time trying to make them look even. I also just hit 30 and was feeling like I needed to do a little something to enhance my features. Some friends had mentioned permanent makeup and thought it would be a good solution for me, since I don't like applying makeup myself. So of course I consulted the almighty Yelp on where I should go for my very first wax. And here it is - the hands down best place ever. If you work uptown, it's kind of a no-brainer that you would go here, it's so convenient. The online appointment system on their website is fantastic and thorough with email reminders and an easy to use format. Their shop is located upstairs and is very quaint, with a small waiting room and a few procedure rooms. Aside from brow waxing, they have an extensive menu of services to choose from, and from what I can tell, they would most likely be very professional and great at any services. Same old sob story- moved here from Chicago and learning through trial and error as to finding the best restaurants, hairstyles, nail salons, etc.. Hey, relocating is not easy! It took two years to fix my extremely thinned barely there eyebrows. It was a beautiful relationship with Salon 120 in Chicago. Then I moved here and after 3 months and I had to go somewhere to get the brows cleaned up. I should I have looked harder for a well reviewed place becuase I walked out that salon with thinned-out-no-arch-brows. Today, I found Brow on Yelp. Not too many reviews but they seemed sincere enough. I made my appoinment, walked over, waited a bit, called into room after a little wait, took a deep breath, prayed a little, and showed a picture of what I would like my brows to look like again. Very happy with my first experience here. My brows were beat up due to a few months of budget threading shop visits, and my in-between tweezing. She takes the time to asses the best shape for your eyebrows - one that follows your brow line so they look natural, and one that leaves you looking polished. I get my eyebrows threaded and before finding Heather would get them done at random nail salons or mall kiosks where a few twists of the thread was all that would happen before your appointment was over. Heather takes the time to truly shape your brows and then follows up the initial threading with tweezers to fine tune your look, then trims the longer hairs and even goes back over everything to ensure your brows are perfect. All of that in only 20 minutes and for a really great price! The hours that Brow is open are great, perfect for the Uptown business crowd AND for those of us that live downtown and might need a service on the weekend. I have tried several different places looking for a technician that could shape and touch up my brows. I finally discovered Heather at Brow, thanks to the almighty Yelp. Her online appointment system was easy to use (and even sent me a reminder text), her location is conveniently next to a parking lot (which she mentioned does not check parking on Saturdays), and my eyebrows have never looked better! Just as others mentioned, she makes sure to give her full attention to each client, and does not rush through her work. All the other times I have gotten my eyebrows waxed or threaded, the technicians took 15 minutes max. Heather spent twice that much time today working on my brows to make sure every hair was in place. The only downside to Brow is that you must book early in order to get an appointment since it is a small place. However, I will never allow another technician to work on my brows again as long as Heather is around! read more

I can not stress enough how HAPPY I am that I found Brow and that I met Dawn who did an absolutely incredible job on my eyebrows!! I too recently moved to Charlotte and had tried about 4 places before i found Brow, all of which messed up my eyebrows horribly. The last person I went to literally hacked off half my eyebrow.
