I did my brows with Chelsea as a walk-in last week. I was a little uneasy because my usual place was booked-- but I needed my brows done. I was extra worried when the thread kept breaking on her while she was doing my brows, but when she was done...they look perfect. I went for an eyebrow threading with Chelsea after seeing such good reviews of her on Yelp. For two years, I was getting my brows waxed at one of those Benefit Brow Bars but the lady doing them completely messed them up. Eventually, I went over to Uni K for about a year but my eyebrows were still completely different (and $23 for a mediocre wax? no thank you). I let them grow out and when I went to Chelsea to get them threaded my eyebrows looked the same! I cannot thank her enough. The price for the threading was $12 and I still got better results. I decided to try this place based on the reviews. This was my first experience with threading. I told the woman that helped me this. She didn't seem to care. She explained nothing to me nor did she ask any questions about what I wanted. Also, she didn't sanitize her hands between ringing up one customer and helping me. The girls work great! But customer service is awful! The old lady that works in the front desk has a nasty attitude. I walked in and was told I was next, there was one other girl waiting to be helped, she was going after me. Right when it was my turn someone else walked in and the lady in a rude manner said that appointments go first and we had to wait, when we were never told an appointment was coming in. Just came from having my eyebrows threaded for the first time. (I know I'm late to the game!) and WOW! What a great experience. 6$ for first time customers 12$ there after. I don't have symmetrical eyebrows and the women noted this and took it into consideration when threading. The threading was great because normally I have redness and swelling post waxing but the threading left them smooth and clean. Would recommend to anyone who needs a good eyebrow shaping. Ok. This has been my brow place for the past 6 months after having a brow mishaps at the Brow Boutique. I didn't have a particular girl that I went to for my brows since I usually just walk in but I got a chance to make an appointment for Chelsea recently. She's usually a bit busy for walk ins but she takes them too if you have more time to wait. Can I say my brows are on Fleek! She did an awesome job. The other girls are not bad...but she's great! Usually go here on Saturdays to get my brows done by seleema she's amazing super sweet and vibrant however the old lady at the front is always rude to her. She should really watch her tone. It's as if she's trying to make her work environment uncomfortable on purpose she speaks to her as if she's a child and not an employee. 10 stars for seleema for not smacking the hell out of that old crow at the front.
