The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced!! I have stopped in twice, left my name and phone number twice, called at least 10 times in the past two weeks and not one call back just a voicemail that is full and not accepting new messages. I tried making an appt with the new makeup artist who works by appt only. I finally got a hold of someone yesterday and requested an appt for this Sunday. They said we will call back to confirm. I asked, do you mean to confirm my appt or to confirm she can actually do it? Couldn't even get a straight answer without asking again and again. Well, nobody called back and when I called this morning I was told when they tried to call me back my number didn't work. HA!! I even had them confirm the number was correct. It goes without saying, I'm sure their eyebrow threading is wonderful, however I will never know because I would never EVER go back. PS the first time I came in I walked up to the desk and the girl sitting there just looked at me with her feet up on the chair. Not even a hello how may I help you. Not one word! Sucks it didn't worK out. The makeup artist seems to be very talented from her pictures and would probably hate to know that she isn't getting business due to lack of service. On two occasions I've had issues with this place but continued to try to go because their technicians are good at what they do. The first time I walk in sign in no issue. I am seated and the technician begins working on my brows. Everything was fine until the receptionist has a total meltdown and goes off on me for not wearing a mask. I am all about respecting a business's decision to require masks but I was approached extremely aggressively and rudely before I had the opportunity to speak or even put on a mask. On the second occasion, I was sure to bring my mask and wear it the second I walked in. My appointment was set for 12 pm and I was behind the 11:45 pm and was told I'm up next. Well the 11:45 finished and the other people waiting continued to be grabbed and seen before me. I continued to wait until 12:30.... I came here today based on the google and yelp reviews. I have been growing my eyebrows out for almost 7 months now (because another salon make them pencil thin). I gave 3/5 because I asked that my eyebrows be kept as thick as possible, but they ended up being thin again. The shape of the brows are cute, but again, too thin. The customers before me had great shapes done so I thought great! Mine will be perfect. But a bit frustrated because now I have to spend another 6 months growing them out. After having to leave my old brow salon after being a loyal customer for over 3 years, I felt scared regarding who the heck I would trust with my brows. Brow envy is conveniently located near Pembroke Pines, on Sheridan St in Cooper City... never takes me long to get there, whether I'm driving from school at BC South Campus, or from home in Miami Lakes. Plus, I always use it as an excuse to pass by the mall or by my favorite smoothie spot (all within the same area)!! I've come to Saleema for brow threading 4 times already but I didn't want to write my review prematurely, without really getting a feel for the place first. Saleema is amazing at what she does, and she EXPLAINS everything before/during/after so you feel as if you have control and understanding of what she's imagining as the final product for your brows. I explained that I want them to finally be thicker and longer... we made a plan, and I've been coming to her every 3 weeks (not biweekly like I did at my old place) she explained that 3 weeks gives my brows more time to grow, in order to achieve the look I want... man, she knows her stuff!!!! Been many years strong with Brow Envy and they get it right every time. I rarely wait because I make appointments weeks in advance with no issue. Alicia, the receptionist, always is so helpful with helping me set them up. She is always super nice and remembers to add in my extra points in the rewards program because I get brow and lip service. The shop would not be the same without her. She makes sure everyone knows where they are in line and announces periodically that appointments go first. Chelsea has helped me grow my brows from super fine to a defined shape. I have been going to her since the beginning and I would NEVER switch. She is an amazing artist and such a sweet lady. I've been a regular here for two years and have never been disappointed in my brows. They really do a fantastic job here! I used to go to Krystal but she unfortunately no longer works there so I had to find a new eyebrow lady. Now, I don't trust anyone other than Saleema to do my brows. I have very sparse Asian eyebrows and I can't stand it when people try to make them thinner. Saleema is always careful to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible while shaping them in a natural way. I love the way she does my brows and don't trust anyone else to do them. She's also super quick and fun to talk to! Brow Envy also offers a bunch of other treatments too such as eyebrow tinting, lash extensions, facials, makeup services etc. I haven't tried any of the other services but their facials look nice! I might give it a try sometime soon. They take walk in appointments but be warned: if you go during a busy time you may be waiting for over an hour to get your brows done, ESPECIALLY if you try to do a walk in on the weekend. If you have a specific time you want your brows to be done by, I would advise making an appointment beforehand. They also don't let you make an appointment the day of, so if you want an appointment for a time on a Wednesday, you need to call ahead on Tuesday at the latest. I always do a walk-in on the weekdays when everyone else is at work though, so I typically never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get my brows done. The cost to thread eyebrows is only $12, which is super affordable compared to when I used to go to European Wax Center and get them waxed for $20. Definitely no complaints here! Giving two stars because I didn't like my eyebrows one bit. They're uneven and super thin. I used to come to Jennifer and since she left I've had such a hard time finding anyone that can even slightly compare. I've came plenty of times and tried different girls and none of them know how to properly do eyebrows. I doubt ANYONE will be envying THESE eyebrows. So disappointed. The girls need more training. Came in to get my brows threaded by Sherri the owner after a friend recommended her services. Was very pleased with the results! She was thorough, I got my brows shaped the way I wanted. The store was very welcoming, full of other guests, quiet and clean. I found a Groupon for one threading services. It was easy to redeem, no hassle at all. I ended up tipping more than what I paid because it was that excellent! Her young daughter was helping at the front desk - she was very sweet and very business-like (I signed up for a bunch of things). I'll definitely come back! A friend referred me to Brow Envy and I came in and saw a threader (don't remember her name) and she was good, the next time I came back I happened to get Jennifer and now personally I think she is great! I have been getting threaded for about 4 years now but after moving from DC a year ago I wasn't sure who I could see. I like them on the thicker side but manageable and I have one brow that grows more rounded than the other and she knows how to shape them to make them look cohesive... Super rude . I walked in and the front desk lady was very cold . All she said was to put my name down . I was the only one waiting and another lady came in and the front desk lady had a burst of energy all sudden. She was super welcoming to her . I continue to wait . The lady that came in after me was about to leave and the front desk lady told her that she can't be assisted next before me . I completely understand she wanted to help the other lady . But she never concerned my time or feelings . I was also in a time crunch . This is so unprofessional. She didn't even ask me if it would of been okay for her to go first . I have been a long time customer of Brow Envy. Chelsea is amazing. Jennifer does beautiful brows. Salima is always on task and never keeps her customers waiting. So when I walked in and found out Salima was no longer there, and Chelsea's line was a mile long, I asked for a recommendation. BIG mistake! My friend kept raving about this place so she convinced me to grow out my eyebrows and make an appointment. I was seen right on time & was super happy with the results. After having the threading done I asked about tinting (lasts 2 months) and got that done immediately after, my eyebrows look perfect! No need to apply any make up to fill in the gaps & the shape looks natural and full (not thin at all) The damage for the threading is $12 and if you decide to tint like I did it's only $15. I inquired about micro-blading and they offer it for about $400 (last 2 years) for both feathering and filling in. Needless to say they gained a new customer! read more

I only came here for Saleema but now that she doesn't work here there's really nothing too great about this eyebrow salon. The employees there are very unprofessional they don't greet you, they just give blank stares and talk about their personal problems and eat their lunch all gathered around the front desk talking cursing laughing in front of other customers. Very obnoxious uncomfortable and rude. What has happened to customer service now a days? Saleema was professional and did amazing work. The last 2 times I have been here the salon is trashy, with the employees engaging in unbecoming conversations, just unprofessional. I called on a Monday to try to get an appointment, hoping to get in on Wednesday. Well, the woman who answer the phone told me that the brow artist was Completely Unavailable until Friday. I would normally go to Chelsea or Bella to get my eyebrows done, but both have moved on from this place. I went to Dani the last two times, and while she does an okay job cleaning up, she isn't as meticulous as Chelsea or Bella. She is nice but would leave to do something else halfway into the threading session, which I thought was unusual. The good thing about this place is they have a points-based reward system, and will occasionally send 15-20% deals by text message, giving you an incentive to stop by. Keep in mind the price for eyebrow threading is increasing from $12 to $15 starting in August (which is about the average price for threading in the area).
