I try to be honest and fair with my reviews but I am feeling a disappointment and frustration I did not know was possible for an eyebrow bar. $80 for them to play around with a tweezer for 8 minutes. There is still a lot of left over hair too, not thorough, just a sales gimmick for their eyebrow pencils. I said what I wanted and was told it doesn't align with their philosophy there, so sounds like there is only one shape they do and it's crazy. Drew a line straight down too, wow! On a less upset note - this could be good for people who are eyebrow challenged. Unfortunately, I have very visible eyebrows, and prominence has never been my concern. This was the worst eyebrow service I've ever had. First, they were late for my appointment -- I waited over 15 minutes and no one acknowledged me or gave an update. When I was finally seen, the brow "stylist" spent maybe seven minutes plucking just a few hairs, and my brows came out noticeably uneven (even my husband noticed right away). On top of that, the overall vibe in the salon was unwelcoming, with staff yelling back and forth in another language. Definitely not a place I'd return to or recommend. read more

Let's start with how much I LOVED my brows now! I made a last minute appointment over the phone and her team was able to fit me in within a couple hours since I couldn't get one online. The scheduling process was super easy and smooth. Once you get to the building, you can't miss it because there's a huge sign. You have to ring the bell and someone would buzz you in. Don't be intimidated by the stairs. Once you get to the studio, it's super spacious, comfortable and it has such an amazing decor -- Very Instagram-able if you ask me. I was asked to wash hands as soon as as I got in so I'm happy about this given that many places ignored this and I always had to pull out my own hand sanitizer just to be safe. The whole process went by pretty quickly but sufficient. Not only Sania helped fix my Covid eyebrows (lack of a proper care), she also gave me awesome tips about how to take care my eyebrows instead of just doing the job and sending me out the door! I'm very happy with the results and can't wait to schedule my next appointment soon! read more

First off, my brows look great. They really know what they're doing and keep them full and natural looking, while still cleaning them up and enhancing your face. With that being said, this was a super stressful experience for me. I come in and the studio is gorgeous, but the layout isn't clear as to where you're supposed to go. The front desk is tiny and I totally missed it until the girl behind the desk called me over. She was very friendly but then asked me if I was familiar with their "brow shampoo" process. I said no as this is my first time here, and she eventually handed me a gel product and told me to use it in the bathroom. I asked (1) how do I use this, and (2) where's the bathroom. She gave me vague instructions as to both so I was kind of roaming around the studio until I saw a door that could potentially be a bathroom. It was indeed the bathroom - though it was in a darkly-lit corner so maybe I went in an employee's-only bathroom? Who knows. I use the brow shampoo to the best of my ability, and sit in my chair with Val. She points out that I didn't rinse it out correctly. Ma'am, I'm sorry for misusing a product that I just heard of 1 minute earlier. Constructive feedback: the people doing our brows should be the ones to "shampoo" them before the service. Besides, it takes away from the luxury of the experience to scrub at my own face in a random bathroom. Okay, now time for the brows - Val is definitely super-attentive and is an expert at what she does. However, it just wasn't aligned with what I wanted. She starts talking about starting my "regrowth journey" as this is my first visit. Reader, I won't post pics but my eyebrows are FULL. I am 100% Greek and never had a past with over-tweezing (despite being born in the 90s). My eyebrows are as full as humanly possible, and were fully grown out for this appointment. Val does her thing and they look fine, but she can tell I'm not fully happy with them (which is good! Yay). She says she can shape them up more if I want, but it will affect the "regrowth journey". I tell her I want shape, so yes, please, I'd like more of an arch. I wish I had the courage to say this in the moment, but I don't want to start a regrowth journey! I understand it's their M.O., but it just doesn't apply to me and my Greek caterpillars. She shapes them up some more and I'm definitely happier at this point. I thank her and she quickly dismisses me from the chair (this place is like a factory, in a good and bad way - but I also went on a Friday evening so it's probably an especially crowded time to go). I make my way back to the front desk and the friendly receptionist tells me tips are only accepted in cash. I tell her I have no cash, and she says, "Well, I guess we can honor Venmo one time." She then pulls out a framed picture with the Venmo QR codes... I had to stop myself from laughing right then and there - oh, you *guess* you'll accept Venmo? And yet, you're fully prepared to the point of printing out their Venmo handles and putting it in a nice frame? Just be honest and say "cash is preferred, but we can accept Venmo as well". This really rubbed me the wrong way and was the last nail in the coffin. To sum it up, my brows look great and this place can definitely be trusted with your face. The price is also good considering their expertise. However, the experience was front-to-back stressful for me, so I hope this review can serve as feedback for the brow bar, or as a cautionary tale for fellow anxious customers. read more

I couldn't be more grateful for the best recommendation and that's why I'm writing this as my first review. My eyebrows have never looked better since the day I started seeing Val. Val is attentive and genuine. I never feel the need to look in the mirror to check her work; I truly trust her. The place itself is a sanctuary and all the girls working are very professional and kind. I've had my fair share of eyebrow mishaps prior to Sania, and because of that, I was hesitant letting anyone touch my eyebrows. A lot of places I've been prior, have groomed my eyebrows to the point it looked completely unnatural and did not frame my face right. had the best experience here today! i've been going to the same eyebrow lady for the past 13 years and today i decided to branch out. i haven't plucked/waxed them in ~6 months so they really needed some work. suzy was so sweet and explained everything she was doing really well. she helped me understand what areas need to grow more and how i can help them do that best. i've never liked the way my brows look when penciled in, but the one they used at sania's is incredible! looked so natural and was easy to use. it was so nice having my brows tweezed rather than waxed, i felt like she could really focus on each individual hair rather than rip a bunch off at once. the attention to detail was amazing, the staff was so sweet, the facility is beautiful and clean, and i felt super safe with their covid precautions. i highly, highly recommend coming here for some brow expertise! read more

I have been a client at Sanias Brow Bar for approximately over a year now and I have nothing but great things to say. Prior to becoming a client at Sania's I was threading my eyebrows for some time and realized there was no precision and saw much breakage in my eyebrows. I expressed these concerns to Sania and she has worked on rebuilding my natural thick shape back. Sania is THE brow expert. She takes her time to analyze brow shape and hair growth to produce the most natural outcome. After tweezing, she brushes and trims the brows and explains that it's important to keep any lotions and products out of your brows in order for hair growth to increase. She finishes off by using her Angled Mechanical Brow Pencil to give the perfect shape and definition. The Angled Mechanical Brow Pencil is powder based which allows for a natural finish rather then using a cream based pencil which leads to thick, dense and heavy handed lines. Further, aside from providing the best work in this industry she also provides her clients a beautiful atmosphere at the salon. I probably wouldn't be wrong to state that walking into her salon is comparable to walking into brow heaven. I admire her expertise so much and highly recommend Sania. As I arrived at Sania's studio, there was one young lady waiting to be attended. I asked Sania if I can be squeezed in although I did not have an appointment and she was sweet enough to say yes. I patiently waited as I wasn't in a rush and wanted to try something new aside from the usual threading technique. She was very sweet and provided tips and insights on how to better care for my brows and ensure they look even and fuller in the right places. The location is beautiful and spacious. This place is simply the best. I started coming here 8 months before my wedding because I wanted to actually build a shape to my brows that threading had lost over time. Parts of my brows I didn't know could grow have grown back thanks to her shaping and advice. Her girls are really sweet too, I've gone to them before and they're fantastic but I prefer to see Sania consistently since she knows where I'm going on my brow journey. That said, a brow journey is a process (see pics) - Sania can reshape your brows to the life they were always meant to live but she can't grow you brow hair or do magic with hairs that aren't there.... anyone complaining after going once or twice and seeing no difference is simply ridiculous, everyone knows brows don't regrow overnight. If you're skeptical and not seeing results right away, just give it time. I tried this place after seeing photos on Instagram. I didn't touch my eyebrows for about 3 weeks in order to be prepared for my appointment. My appointment was with Sania herself. First thing, I was on time to my appointment and they made me wait almost an hour, once they finally called me to her chair I was there for about 6 min and she was finished. She had me hold a mirror to see (lighting is not great in there) but I could see my eyebrows didn't look any different. I asked if she could clean it better and she plucked a few more pieces and told me to come back in 6 weeks. She told me not to use anything on my brows unless I wanted to use her eyebrow pencil and eyebrow cleanser because I guess other products are not good to use. I went to the restroom there to check my eyebrows and lighting was terrible and very dark in there as well. When I left and got in my car I saw that my eyebrows had barely been cleaned. I understand to let the hair near my brows grow out to make it even but there was a ton of strays left behind as if I had never gotten my eyebrows done. There was no difference in shape or anything. Honestly very disappointed with the entire experience and unfortunately will not be returning. Waste of time and money. Notice how negative reviews are responded to, seems like a red flag to me.
