So glad I found Neelam while on vacation for my eyebrow/lip threading and my Brazilian wax. There's plenty of threading salons around. However, I chose Neelam's because of the reviews and the pictures seemed cleaner than walking by the salon right across from me, and it was the right choice. She was easy to book online and answered my questions immediately when I sent it through and offered for me to come in 15 mins sooner since I was close. There was a regular client before me and 2 after me so she's definitely popular. I had a couple ingrowns after my Brazilian so she threaded them out. She's very thorough with threading so be prepared for it to take a few minutes longer than your standard visit to Perfect Brows. I've been seeing Neelam for years for eyebrow tinting and waxing, so when she told me that she was opening up her shop I was so excited! In very sensitive to waxing, and Neelam always takes that to consideration and is always so gentle. She always makes sure that I'm comfy n she always makes sure that she makes sure my wax is perfect. As for eyebrows, she always shapes my eyebrows and the tinting is always perfect! The tinting usually lasts about 2 weeks. The place is very clean, and Neelam is so flexible with appointments. I've been going to Neelam for quite some time for full face (including brows) threading, when she was working elsewhere. She just opened a place of her own, and while I bought a package at her old place, I'm so loyal to her that I would rather just go see her for all of my threading needs. The place is easy to find -- in your standard NYC office building. It's a bright, clean, and spacious area that she shares with a salon, where she has her own chair for threading and private enclosed area for waxing. When I arrived, she greeted me warmly as she always had in the past and offered me water. After I was settled, she took great care of my threading needs as she always does -- takes her time, assesses my face carefully, and reassesses to make sure she didn't leave any hairs behind. I didn't even ask her for this, but she offered me a grand opening package and some additional perks for being a loyal customer. I'm always happy to go back to her since she's so talented and kind, and I'm happy to support her endeavors. It's so great to see her happy and thrive -- she's someone that has worked incredibly hard and deserves it! She has a loyal client following for a reason.
