I witnessed this firsthand when I walked in the salon this morning! I wanted a pedicure and fill in and I was accommodated immediately. I was greeted with a smile and Jenny started in on my pedicure! Jenny was thorough and nice. She showed me the scan to get a free beverage while I enjoyed my chair massage and pedicure. It was amazing to see such special touches Tina and Dong has in place for their customers. Jenny did a superb job on my feet and they were as soft as a baby's bottom. All while doing my pedi she checked in to see if I was ok and if I like the nails. She took her time which I appreciated. As soon as I was done with my pedi I was whisked over to the manicure seat to get my French manicure. To my surprise Tina the owner was the manicurist! I knew immediately that she was the owner because she had on a name tag, which I love ! This is another special touch that Tina and Dong provide that sets them apart from the other local nail shops. I truly appreciate knowing the person who's completing the services for me! Tina was so humble, down to earth and kind ! I asked her if she was the owner and she shyly said yes, how did you know? The branding : name tags, tshirts and aprons the employees and owners wear really brings in the brand of TD's nail salon. Conversation with Tina was so nice and it was as if we were old friends and I had just met her for the first time today. Tina quickly and thoroughly completed my manicure to perfection! All while giving me advice on a new liquid nail service her salon provides that will not only help my natural nail but will ensure that the nail that I get next time will not be as thick ( I had gotten my nails done at another shop not to be mentioned and the powder that was put on was very thick), even with this issue, Tina was able to seamlessly fill in my nail as if she had completed the nail manicure originally! I came in to TD's Nail Salon today as a treat for Mothers Day weekend from my husband and kids and I found this place one because they were open early on Saturday 9:30 which was earlier than any other nail shop in the area, and two because of the great reviews I read on Yelp! I will be coming back and telling everyone I know about this gem of a place because of the excellent customer service, the superior quality of work and the economical pricing they provide as well as the serene atmosphere they provide in their building. This nail shop has only been open for a week but I can already tell with the quality of work they are delivering they will be successful for years to come! I booked with Kushi again for this month. I showed up on time for my appointment. Kushi was not there. The two girls were not aware of an appointment and were not expecting me. When I asked for Kushi and they saw I was disappointed about her not being there when I specifically booked with her for wax... the younger woman again said something in her language to the other lady about me and that's when they acted like there was no appointment. I went in regardless thought I'd give someone new a try. The wax bottles were not melted at all. We barely did a like 3 strips and she asked to let the wax melt..... They make it easy for you to book online through Square. They did a really good job with threading my eyebrows, lip, chin and neck. I love that it's precise, and she listened to my needs with my eyebrows. They have plenty of free parking on premise, and they also have a punch card. Onto my issues: 1) they do not wear gloves whatsoever for waxing services on your stomach, butt etc. I get it if they don't for face services, but in my experience at any facility that does hair removal, this is the first time where someone did not wear gloves. Yes, she did hand sanitize but it kind of irks me in terms of sanitation. Knock on wood I haven't caught anything yet, and they did get the job done though. I just won't be back for body services because of this. 2) it was one person working there the entire time. I made an appointment, and she was expecting me but there was still a bit of a wait as they take walk-ins as well and I was running a few minutes behind. 3) she would not stop upselling me. I get it - I have been a sales rep before, but it's a problem when I tell you multiple times that I am not interested. I am also not someone who came in for just an eyebrow. What is also interesting to me is that the other people around me who only got an eyebrow service was not upsold. TLDR; I'd be back for facial threading services exclusively, and it is the only thing here that I can recommend to others, unless you are ok with someone touching your body and private areas without gloves.

As far as my brows, they look like Frankenbrows. They pretty much look like they were drawn on with a sharpie. She text me a couple of days ago to send her more clients, I told her I could not do that because of the result of my brows. When I sent her a picture she accused me of having facial treatments as in Botox, not the case. And then she said there was no way possible that I left her shop with these brows. The Brows in the pictures on her Facebook page are photoshopped and I promise they did not turn out well. The color is turning into an ugly charcoal gray and the shape is not flattering. Please do your research before you see anyone for permanent facial tattooing. Once these fade I will be going to a qualified makeup artist. Their policy/procedure is to wax the butt and labia first with hard wax/sugar wax and then they use the soft wax with the strips on the mons pubis. I personally do not like getting waxed with strips. I'm prone to getting ingrown hairs with strips. Perhaps this was my own ignorance but I didn't read on their site about them using both waxes. Had I known this I wouldn't have booked.
