An appointment requires a $25 deposit that will go toward the full amount after your appointment is done. The staff was very quick with scheduling an appointment and got me an earlier time as spots opened up. It's located in a spacious plaza with good parking. I didn't know it was in the same plaza as Tree House cafe. Sam did my eyelashes and it turned out just how I wanted. I asked for a natural look that would still open up my eyes. The application took about 2 hours. She took her time and everything went smoothly. I even dozed off a little as soon as my eyes closed. I didn't have any irritations or discomfort during the appointment. For first time client, it's $89 for a classic full set. Refills are usually every two to three weeks. Overall, I was very happy with the results and will continue to come back.

She made my lashes look great. The only problem for me is that my natural lashes are fine so the lash extensions over time got too heavy to hold them upright so after a week or so they would flip and poke my eyeballs. After a few months, I decided to take a break and try to get my lashes strong before I tried extensions again. The front desk staff are amazing. Very friendly and personable. The salon is clean and cute. Def will go back once I get my lashes strong.

The process to schedule the appt over the phone took longer than I expected and someone snagged up the 2:30pm. I had to settle for the 5:30pm, which I guess wasn't too bad. I was hesitant to try Nina out because it was just her second day here and there were no reviews for me to refer to. I took the chance and it ended up working out. I got there on time, completed the paper work and Nina took me in to get prepped. She showed me a few pics as reference and I showed her what I wanted and the lengths [10,12,13 and 14]. We wrapped up at 7pm and my lashes looked good. My eyes weren't red and none of the lashes were stuck together. I do wish she alternated the lengths a little bit more like I requested but I'll make sure that happens upon my refill. Few things to note: there's plenty of parking, the shop is very clean and you get $10 if you leave a review on Yelp with a picture and another $10 if you pre-book your refill appt 14 days after your initial appt.

Cathy appears to be a little older and more mature than most of the techs...she is great...and appears in high demand. There's one that walks around in outfits and short skirts that look too young for her, kind of flippant demeanor. I've detected what I considered 'dismissive' or 'patronizing' attitudes with some...which makes my 'racism' antenna start beeping. This is a no frills salon...no lotion and hand massages that make you feel 'finished' and beautiful when you leave. Same for pedi unless you get a special pedi...or the right tech. I tip every time but on one occasion I didn't have cash and the tech 'instructed' me to 'bring cash next time'. This salon is 'just okay'....Also note: yesterday 12/11/25 I got a dip manicure where the tech put my hands in a bowl and poured polish remover in it ...about three fourths of my fingers were immersed in the remover...to remove old polish. My fingers were very dry after completion of the manicure...I have been using Vaseline on my hands to alleviate the dryness since the manicure. My hands feel slightly less dry but the residual dryness from having my fingers in that polish remover is still there. Instead of providing the color I asked for, the technician repeatedly tried to substitute multiple different shades and insisted they were "clear pink" when they clearly were not. I even looked at the bottles myself and knew they were different colors. After several attempts to explain what I wanted, another employee came over to assist. They disappeared for a while and eventually returned with a bottle labeled "DND Clear Pink," but it looked completely different from the actual product I have used before. The bottle itself didn't even match the standard DND packaging, which raised even more concerns. What frustrated me most was feeling like my concerns were being dismissed. I knew exactly what color I wanted, yet I was repeatedly told I was wrong. Throughout the interaction, the employees continued speaking among themselves in their language and would occasionally say "clear pink," which made the entire situation feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. To make matters worse, after all of the confusion and after I decided not to proceed with gel polish, I was still charged an additional fee to remove the existing polish. So not only did I not receive the service I specifically requested, but I ended up paying extra as well. There are far too many nail salons with excellent customer service to deal with this kind of experience. If a client tells you exactly what they want, listen to them instead of trying to convince them they don't know the difference. Very disappointing experience.

I visited Brow Studio 7 in the Memorial City Mall in West Houston and was extremely disappointed with the experience. During the application, the eyebrow tint caused a stinging sensation on my eyebrows. When I expressed discomfort, the staff member performing the service showed little concern and made no effort to address the issue or ensure I was comfortable. Most disappointing was the outcome: despite paying $30, my eyebrows showed virtually NO visible tint after the service. I left without any visible tint results. Don't expect customer service. Like other reviews for this shop, you'll receive none. I was not thanked for my visit, and the overall interaction felt impersonal and unprofessional. Summary: NO customer service, NO quality service, NO skilled services. Read reviews by others for this shop as we were all ripped off. Buyer beware! read more

I was shopping in the mall and came across the brow studio. As i was waiting for a friend, I took a reservation just to kill time.the ambiance was very soothing and hygienic. i dint have to wait long, the staff was very courteous and friendly. i was asked as to how i would like my shape to be.and to my utter surprise, the threader gave me an exact shape.i was so happy. i had been deceived by threaders at other locations and i ended up looking worse with mismatched eyebrows. this lady managed to straighten that up as well. i am so satisfied by their service that i happily gave them a 5-star. i will recommend all my friends and family to go to brow studio from now on.thank u brow studio for the amazing experience. read more

I am new to the City (less than one year) and Brow Studio 7 was recommended to me by a friend. On the very first day i walked, Nimi was friendly and sweet and very professional. I recently started the microdermabrasion and love the way it made my skin feel and look. More importantly i appreciate the time Nimi takes on the face massages and with explaining everything that she is doing as she is doing it and everything that she is applying as she is applying it. I don't get my brows done very much because it makes me nervous thinking that I'll be left with nothing when I already don't have much. But I've grown mine out lately and so I decided to try a new place. Sami did my brows and she did a fantastic job! I never knew that getting your brows threaded could be so much better than being them waxed. She so sweet and she listened to my concerns about my brows and really made them look nice. I've been threading my eyebrows for years and Sami is probably the quickest and most efficient lady I've experienced in awhile. My eyebrows usually grow out pretty thick and she keeps them nice & full with a natural shape that I prefer. She also doesn't leave any stubble that will grow out in between your eyebrow appointments which is really annoying to me when it happens! The price is also reasonable ($12). Definitely recommend her at this place! read more

Nimi "threaded" my face and brows. As a woman reaching that certain age I was getting a bit fuzzy! Unfortunately I have very sensitive skin and the wax broke me out. About a year ago this location was bought by a new owner and they started making changes. It's taken about a year, and I'm finally over it and making my final decision and reviewing. First issue, when the new owner came around she let go many of the seasoned employees and all of the waxers that I was familiar with were replaced or left. Most of the new staff were friendly (some had major attitude issues) but it was hard to find someone I really liked (gotta feel pretty comfortable with someone in order for them to be touching around in my private areas). Just recently after a year of trying to find a good provider, it seems there has been another mass exodus of employees and everyone is new again. New isn't bad, but inexperience is. I've now seen 4 different girls and all of their wax techniques are different. Some use HUGE strips and some you can tell are rushing. Every time I leave, I'm in throbbing pain and the area that was waxed is very tender. This is not something that use to happen in the past. But now, this past year under new ownership, I don't think I've left feeling 100% satisfied about a wax once. Secondly, it seems that they are cutting costs and corners in some of the most ridiculous places. They switched the pre-wax wipes to these garbage wipes that are so flimsy they rip when you try to use them. The draping paper towels they use are smaller and more see through as well. It's little things that once you've been coming to a business for years, you notice when they change, and especially when they change for the worse. Lastly, three times in a row now when I arrive for my appointment during business hours, the front door is locked and no one is at the front desk to notice to open the door for me. I have to call the number and ask to be let in. This location is not in a sketchy part of town and there is absolutely no reason for the front door of an establishment to be locked during business hours. If you want to have the front door locked, then there should be a team member at the front ready to open the door at all times. Customer should not have to stand outside and wait to be let in after they call. I am not planning on canceling my membership, but I might try out a different location that's not owned by this person. I use to love Waxing the City and would rave about how great the membership was. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone now.
