Do not hire Brad Crider!! He works on the 11th hour, is never prepared and does not return phone calls! I had 3 or 4 meetings scheduled via telephone. I waited for hours each time and he never called. He didn't show for a scheduled hearing. He sent another lawyer who was 25 minutes late. I had no representation. He was late for sending in exhibits to the court so they were not admissible. My original divorce decree stipulated that I was to keep my house. Because of Brad, I am now losing my house. He was not prepared again at our last hearing. We had to confer outside the hearing room. The judge was upset with him every time because he was not prepared. I should have fired him earlier, but he kept saying he wasn't going to charge me. So he's a liar also. I retained Charles for a DUI and was convicted. My issue isn't with my conviction however, it was with my representation. Not once did Charles return my phone calls--ever....throughout the entire time I had him retained. He would tell me literally the night before court that I needed to be there the next day. In fact, every single time I needed to appear in court, I was told the night before--EXCEPT my trial when I was actually told TWO days in advance It was agreed from the start I needed an expert witness to testify on my behalf. Come the DAY BEFORE TRIAL, he told me he decided not to do that. Before hiring him, every lawyer I went and interviewed told me unequivocally that if they took the case, they would have an expert witness come and testify on my behalf. This was Charles and I agreement--or so I thought The day before trial when he and I did meet, he was 40 minutes late and spent a total of 20 minutes with me. 5 min before he ended the meeting he told me he was going to have me testify the next day. He told me he was going to put me on the stand so I could tell my story. That's literally all he said. He did not tell me the type of questions I would be asked, how I should handle those questions, what the process was going to be, what to expect--Nothing! He literally threw me to the flames!! The MAJOR piece of evidence in my case was a dash cam video tape of which I didn't even view before trial!! He's a fraud. He's insensitive. My mother had a stroke the day before trial and he didn't even bother to offer his condolences. After they found me guilty he told me when to come to court again for my sentencing and that was it. He simply walked off and didn't say anything. Charles was completely unprepared in court. He had a few good points but completely lacked the ability to bring it all home. He kept rambling on about things that were soooo minor and irritating to the jury and completely skipped over the parts that could have actually won the trial Don't waste your money. I'm sorry I had. This type of trash doesn't deserve to work in the system. Hopefully he'll read this message so he can hear what I have to say because I have no way of telling him personally (as stated before he does not return phone calls). Brad Crider was my attorney for taking custody of my grandchild. It took 1 month after our consultation for the papers to get filed with family court. His paralegal made mistakes and the paperwork had to be filed again and the documents had to be served one more time. Slowing down the process longer while billing me for their mistakes. They do not return phone calls or emails. You don't get billed or a monthly statement until the end of the process and it was a surprise. I hired Charlie Naegle and I have to say, never in my entire life have I seen an individual, let alone an attorney tell so many lies! He is actually a pathological liar. The lies he told were so easily proven to be lies that I actually wondered about his sanity. I felt that no one in a position that he held would jeopardize their career and reputation that way. However, he certainly did. Not only that but he shared client/attorney information with a woman not even connected to what he was hired for! I took him to fee arbitration and got back over half of what I paid him. Actually, it should have been the entire amount but I guess he had to be paid something just for accepting the case! Beware, check out everything he tells you, no matter how legitimate it seems to be. Plus, make sure after you pay him, he requests attendance for your case from the court as he doesn't do so until the court appointed attorney (free one) has complied the entire record and reports. Then he will have that attorney send him all the case info and that way he has to do little to nothing except take your money! I found out how he operates accidentally or I would have never known who really handled the case.
