The second time was over a year later, the practice manage was at a different office that day, and I declined to reschedule.

Dr. Lindahl answered all of my questions. He was kind and thorough. I had cataract surgery on February 26, 2026 and March 13, 2025, am seeing like I haven't in years and need no glasses. He is an excellent surgeon! The women who work with him are wonderful! I got to meet Maggie, Beth, Laura, Denise, Angie, Kim, as well as Deb and Monique at the front desk. Thanks to you all for your kindness and care! Most businesses these days are more concerned about the bottom line than the people that come to them for help. Not here! I spent $2600 out of pocket to have my cataract replaced with a Vivity lens that was supposed to…read moregive me good distance vision and decreased halos at night. What I got was an eye that cannot see clearly from 6 feet+. What happened? The doctor said that he made the decision to make my eye nearsighted because I had lasik surgery 20 years ago. This new plan was NEVER discussed with me prior to my surgery. I would have never approved this, as i wanted clear distance vision and was prepared to wear glasses for reading. What I'm left with is vision that requires glasses for ALL distances! And the lens cannot be removed and replaced. So I'm out of $2600 plus I have poor vision. I pursued a second opinion from an expert doctor in another town and he said that he would never have put a Vivity lens in my eye. And to make it all worse, Cornerstone recommended laser to remove scar tissue on my lens capsule. This was a simple procedure and I had not yet received my Second Opinion. Following that surgery, I had absolutely no improvements in my vision AND I had a negative side effect of increased floaters and a dangerous side effect of increased eye pressure and a chance of retinal damage and loss of vision! (Vitreous prolapse). At my followup for the laser surgery Cornerstone did not even talk to me about the vitreous prolapse! Stay away from Cornerstone Eye Associates! They did not listen to my wishes (which were clearly charted) and they did not take responsibility for my botched eye that is permanent!

ROC Vision had an easy to use website with online scheduling. I was able to schedule something for the next day. I checked in at my scheduled time and was promptly greeted by the friendly lady working the front desk. No wait, straight to some eye measurements. The whole process was efficient. Dr. Lee was pleasant and had a good bedside manner. He explained everything clearly and performed a thorough retina exam. I would definitely return. The fact that it's in a Costco, also helps. Don't forget to bring a designated driver, if you intend to get your pupils dilated.

The exam was conducted professionally, efficiently, and courteously. Dr. Lee was very good at explaining each step of the way and he demonstrated mastery of the equipment and test procedures. I chose to go with the optional retina imaging and he immediately identified a retinal tear in one of my eyes. He then sent the info over to my retina doctor (I've had a couple of retinal tears in the past) and I was able to have it repaired the next day. I consider the services of Dr. Lee to be outstanding and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an expert eye exam.

Two weeks later, we went to get new glasses, and the person fitting him just put the glasses on, and that was it. My son told him he had trouble with the right eye, and he dismissed it; said give it some time, and then come back if you still have trouble. We did, and was told that there was an issue with the right eye, to make yet another appointment. Come on, how many appointments does this place want you to make? In addition, he was misinformed regarding the new glasses as you could NOT adjust them as they did not fit his face properly. Well, we are going to America's Best to get this straightened out because there is no way we will ever return to Reed. I would definitely stay away.............really wish I had.
