The corn beef is lean and deliciously full of rich beef and spices (mustard seed, black pepper, and maybe coriander?) on warm rye, softly cradling the spicy brown mustard encased beef. The potato salad is like a cool l, creamy, and savory puree: my favorite potato salad of all time. The sandwich, potato salad and pickle (if only it were a half sour) is every bit as good as Langers in Los Angeles, a landmark for New York deli, but 1/16th as crowded. The dining area has fewer than ten tables. I hope it's always here when I return.
