Sugar free caramel latte and a chai latte

My husband and I stopped in for a late breakfast. The food was great and the coffee was even better. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. It's not fast food, definitely worth slowing down and enjoying. I enjoyed the gluten free avocado toast with a sugar free caramel latte. My husband had biscuits and gravy with a chai latte. We will definitely be back!

Came for dinner. Nice old building. Food was ok. Felt bad as the girl who had no help. Shrimp cocktail was good. Cocktail sauce was nice and spicy. Fried pickles would have been good, if they had ranch. How are you out of ranch?? Lasagna soup - was elbow noodles with meat sauce. Alfredo was good. Bacon wrapped filet was ok. Cooked to the correct temp, just tasted like select grade beef. Very gritty and hard to cut and chew. Chicken Diane was the best thing we had. Cocktails were good.

If you want something upscale and unique. This could very well be the best restaurant in town. If you are an early bird like me. It is cool the coffee bar opens way earlier than the restaurant. To all the chefs at this restaurant I want to say thank you for the flavor adventure today. The appetizer was out of this world smoked salmon bruschetta, beet hummus, and Greek nacho. I really couldn't just pick one. I am glad everything was so different and beautiful. Wow the fresh Battered Shrimp & Fries was so juicy. Chicken Diane is a house favorite and I know why it was fantastic. The 14oz. ribeye meat quality and seasoning with the butter on top was delicious. The steak was paired with rosemary fries. All I can say is look at my photos. I loved every bite, and I can't wait for my next trip. For dessert I tried the moist Carrot cupcake and pink lemonade. Again, I really enjoyed my time here.

Visiting Riverton for one night and stopped at this very interesting restaurant for dinner. They appear to be a coffee shop during the day, and a wine/cocktail, tapas restaurant at night. They have a limited menu, but we decided to try a number of tapas to share with some cocktails. Our server was very nice and attentive. Greeted us right away and gave recommendations (Riptide for cocktails or red wine) We started with the Riptide (see pic) which is sort of like a piña colada with screwball, rum and pineapple liquor - on the sweeter side but nice (4/5). I had the Pu-ehr old fashioned made with WY whiskey. It tasted watered down due to a full low ball of ice rather than a single ball or a few cubes. I couldn't taste the whiskey, nor distinguish the bitters or taste simple syrup (1/5). We started with the rosemary bread served with creamy butter and cinnamon butter. The bread is pretty large and could easily feed 4+. It was obviously cooked earlier and served Luke warm. I expected the cinnamon butter to be sweeter and to taste stronger rosemary in the bread. The texture was good, and the bread pulled apart like a pastry. With either butter it was more savory than sweet, and it would've been better coming out hot (4/5). For dinner, we had the ribeye, the veggie penne and the veggie salad. The steak was very good (5/5) - nice char and flavor. The veggie pasta was good - light white wine sauce with diced tomatoes, garlic and asparagus spears (4/5). The veggie salad was also good (4/5). I believe 4/5 was a fair rating and the restaurant could easily be a 5 with a few small tweaks. Strong showing considering they've only been open a couple weeks. We visited while the owner was in with their family. As a small business owner myself, it was a missed opportunity for the ownerto visit with the three other tables, introduce themselves and ask for feedback.

Was sad at first that there wasn't a Starbucks anywhere close, but this place cheered me up instantly. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and the owner is just a ball to talk too. If you have time I would suggest this place instantly!!! read more

My wife and I are coffee aficionados and have had coffee in specialty cafes from east coast to west coast and all points in between...NYC, Cape Cod, Brewster and Orleans, MA, NC, VA, NOLA, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and numerous other Texas cafes, NM, ID, MT, CA! Brown Sugar's Italian Style Coffee Cafe is right there with the BEST. They roast their own and they KNOW how to draw a shot PERFECTLY for a smooth, rich delightful coffee drink. This coffee cafe is a rare gem of a place in one of the most unlikely places...Riverton, WY. Man am I GLAD this coffee cafe is here in the beautiful Wind River Range region of the Rockies. I have never actually been to this coffee shop BUT my husband (Logan) discovered their coffee in 2011 online- I believe on Ebay and since then we have been hooked. They fresh brew their beans and they are never a disappointment. I also love the espresso beans in my morning mocha which I make at home. We order online or by phone and the delievery is always quick and prompt as well..I love wakng up to Brown Sugar Coffee beans. read more

A true diamond in the rough! I'm in Riverton for the weekend for work and thought there was no way I'd find a great cup of coffee, but Brown Sugar proved me wrong. Not only was the owner incredibly kind, the coffee cake moist and delicious and the ambiance warm and welcoming...but the medium roast I got to go was AMAZING. I'm a regular who loves what they do. Every coffee is good (all single origin), even though I have my favorites. They know how to roast beans--they do not burn! The coffee cake muffins are quite good and made locally. The owners are friendly and don't compromise on quality. Can't go wrong! read more

I live in Lander, about 30 miles from Riverton, and I always look forward to having to go to Riverton to run errands because it means that I get to stop at Brown Sugar. The coffee, roasted in-house, is amazing. I often buy the espresso roast to use in my home espresso maker, and it is delicious and smooth. It also produces a nice crema, like good espresso is meant to. Their coffee drinks are expertly crafted and delicious. If they would open a Lander location, they would get all of my money!! read more

Stopped in here while passing thru, this coffee shop was awesome! The man working was great and friendly and the espresso was delicious. I'm picky about my coffee, wish we had a shop like this in billings. Keep up the amazing customer service and slingin' amazing drinks! read more

About half way between Casper and Jackson, we stopped into this hip spot for the (clean) bathroom and a cup of (excellent) coffee (organic beans roasted in the back -- the kids got the full tour) and stayed for the delicious paninis made fresh, and other treats. Make sure to stop in, and check out the other shops on Main in this interesting town. read more

We opened on Main Street, Riverton and have been offering fabulous coffees to our community since. Over the past couple years we have expanded our menu from our Italian barista bar to include breakfast, lunch & weekend brunch. We received our liquor license to be able to offer high quality wines, craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails. Our weekend bottomless brunch mimosas/bellinis are a local favorite!

Well I'm from Casper WY and came down to Riverton/Lander to visit friends and we decided to stop by a couple coffee shops! We went to Old Town in Lander and they were alright but couldn't make an Italian soda with white chocolate for some unknown reason even though they had everything to make one. Then today we visited Brown sugar coffee and the lady working was a TOTAL sweetheart, and on top of it made everything perfectly and VERY quickly even though she was working alone! Anyways she knew how to make a white chocolate Italian soda so I was happy! Great place and very cute on the inside! read more

For all of you business travelers.... This is a great place to fuel up on some excellent coffee and get your work done at the same time. They have a great wifi signal and it's free. Parking is on the street, but ample and free as well. It is about 8 minutes from the airport. They play music, but low enough where you can still have a conference call and not have a lot of background noise. I had the best cup of cappucino ever! Incredible little coffee house. Extremely friendly owner, and well decorated. I had their "Signature Mocha" and it's one of the greatest things I've ever had. Their coffee makes Starbucks seem like dishwater that was boiled by a 2 year old on their play stove. Also, they roast their own beans in the back. What a treat to have a European coffee shop in the middle of the Rocky Mountains and they roast their own coffee! I enjoyed the personal and informal tour. This is the only place in the county to go for a consitently good cup of coffee. You can visit any day of the week and no matter who makes your coffee it will be good. Another plus is that they roast their own beans fresh. I've been to every other coffee shop in town and these guys are the only ones that actually take it seriously.
