Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever encountered, I bought a brand new bracelet to replace the one I broke, and it's got a flaw in it ( it was there when I picked it up, it's a rope bracelet, not cheap, but I said to hell with it at this point I was sick of dealing with them). Very disappointed having to deal with dishonest half asleep salespeople. This particular store has gone way down hill. With a little less Mr T, and maybe a salesgirl that's actually awake and not dragging ass and mumbling, and a little more honesty, the place might make it. But I sure won't be back. Went in today to discuss having a repair on my wedding band. This was the second time a small diamond had fallen out unexpectedly after having both my wedding bands repaired and restored after 30yrs. I did not purchase these rings from here. This repair was a 30th wedding anniversary gift from my husband. The repairs were completed on both rings in May. When the first small diamond fell out a few weeks after I picked my rings up, they happily sent it out for repair without charge. Today I went in for the same thing, another different diamond had fallen out. I was told I would have to pay for it, he said I don't know what or how you are wearing your rings for this to happen. I explained I only wear my rings when I go out. So there is NO Warrenty or guarantee on their repairs. We will not be going back this is very upsetting to us for a family business to not help with this matter. While we were there picking my rings up my husband surprised me with a complete pearl set there, and I bought him a special wedding ring as well. We will spend our money elsewhere next time. read more

Took my jewelry in to be cleaned they said it was going to be soaked overnight I picked it up the next day and it looked worse than when I gave it to them I took it to Norman Hege and he cleaned it in two minutes and it looked brand new read more

This place is Awful! The manager and staff are very rude. After being ignored and allowing other customers walk right in front of me. When I did get a chance to do business with the lady she was very curt and didn't seem like she even wanted my business. Then she when over to another employee talking very loudly about me so others in the store could hear, to come back over to me with and attitude and tell me she had to consult her manager. At this point I was in tears I just got my things and left. I thought calling the owners when make a difference not a chance just as big of an asshole as his staff. DONT SHOP AT THIS STORE! Took in sterling silverware and misc. gold jewelry to the Rock Hill store to sell. Melanie took her time looking at each piece. While doing so she talked me into keeping a silver ornament because it looked so nice polished. She also found my father's gold baby ring in the pile. An heirloom that shouldn't have been included. She asked if I was sure I wanted to sell it. I'm so glad she did. Melanie has worked at Brownlee for over 20 years. She was able to answer several questions about other jewelry items in the store that I was interested in. Not once did she try to push me towards more expensive pieces. I did end up ordering a ring. When she noticed I lived in another town, she quickly suggested that it be sent to my local store for pick up. Customer service was A+++, value placed on the sale of the silver and gold was good, store was clean, other employees were quick to welcome other guests as they enter. Highly recommend!! read more

I found them by search while looking for a jewelry store near our hotel to purchase a nice watch for my husband while in town for a wedding. We were amazed and shocked at how friendly, accommodating and wonderful the staff were to us. My husband found a wonderful watch on sale and they offered to keep it overnight and charge/set it for him. In this process they discovered it wasn't working correctly, so they called around their other stores and found him another one, met the store employee and brought it back. But above and beyond that, I casually asked for a ring wrap and they moved mountains to not only find me one but get it sized and fit in three hours. I don't know what was involved in this feat but I know several road trips by employees, phone calls and determination led to my beautiful new wedding set. Ladies..thank you!! read more

This is the second time I have gone to the Rock Bill store and they have failed. The first time was to buy a watch and they said they could have it in store within a week. It took two weeks for them to call me and saying that they had it. I gave them the model and specs and when I arrived, I was told they transferred all the watches they had and the one I wanted wasn't one of them. I asked why they just didn't order and I got a blank stair. I ordered it online and got it from the manufacture in 3 days. Today I went there to have a ring resized and told them I wanted it done locally so it was quick and I can talk with whoever I needed to. I told them that prices was not a concern and the sales associate assisted on going online telling me where I could send it to have it done cheaper. I told Hume I wasn't concerned unless he told me it was going to be over a thousand. I was trying to support a local business who does not seem to want to be in business. Today was your last chance.
