Getting updates was like pulling teeth. He offered me a free oil change, overfilled the reservoir, and broke the seal on my valve cover requiring a gasket replacement, which I had repaired at another shop. The shift linkage issue was fixed by a new steering column. The installation of which caused my turn signal cancelation switch to stop working. Also, the retaining pin to hold the shift lever in place doesn't go all the way through, so it occasionally will come off in my hand if I forget to push that pin in. This leads me to the reason for the review: I've been calling for two weeks to ask which steering column he installed to get replacement parts. When he answers, which is rare, he always tells me he'll find out and call back. I've never gotten a call back. I'll never let this guy touch another vehicle of mine again.

I have all of my regular maintenance done here and don't mind waiting in the office because they are quick and do the job right. I've had to have body work done to my car and Carty's is fantastic at matching and blending paints. If you need an estimate for parts or services they are sure to give you a print out of what it is that you will need. The prices are fair and staff is honest and friendly. The hours are usually 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mon-Fri. If you need to have serious work done to your car Carty's will work with insurance companies to get the right prices for estimates and the car rental services to bring you a rental while your car is being worked on. Most of the time there is parking spaces available if you need to drop your car off during none business hours (be sure to drop your keys off in the drop box by the main office). Carty's is a great shop to go to for all of your car maintenance needs. The mechanics know what they are doing and your car will always be in good hands.

The review on 10/16/14 sounds like sour grapes or a guy who didn't listen. They would never, EVER quote $50 and then charge $400. NEVER! And the other review for body work? It's obvious this guy thinks he was a victim of a bait and switch. HOWEVER, he was given the 2nd estimate BEFORE the work was started. I think they could care less about whether the guy stayed or not. Obviously, something was noticed that perhaps they missed before. He wants them to eat the add'l cost when they didn't even start the work? Seriously??? I am NOT an employee, and Donna has too much class to reply to those types of posts. I took my car to Firestone for what I thought was a simple taillight change, but it turns out I had a much deeper electrical issue that required a place specializing in European cars to fix. Dealerships are always overpriced, but the woman at Firestone recommended Euromotive to me. I'm so glad she did. They were honest, great at communicating, and thorough. They even gave me options for the repair (new part or used part) and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. All in all I got a used part (electronics module) and the total with labor was about $700, versus $1,100 if I opted for a new part. They communicate via text which I love as a busy manager who is often on work calls all day. They also send your quote electronically, you can authorize the repair electronically, and you can even Apple Pay for your service from your phone! I can't say enough great things about the service I received here. I highly recommend this shop if your European car needs a repair!
