Cute little shop in the middle of the Fairmont lawn. A great place to buy an iconic rainbow shave ice for a ocean front photo. How does it taste? Not that great to me: just artificial syrup & ice. But who cares, it looks beautiful, and so Hawaiian.

A deli located in the Fairmont Orchid. Prices are a bit inflated because it's in the hotel. Got a black coffee and a hot cocoa and both were pretty decent. Nothing special but it gets the job done.

Acai bowl

Ordered the açaí bowl. It's the featured pic on their profile and looks amazing. I'll post a pic so you can see... pretty sure it had been sitting in their display cooler for days. It looked like it had rot bubbles. $14. It was gross do not recommend.

Margherita pizza

Possibly the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Newman's own frozen pizza is better. But I guess I should kind of expect it ordering pizza in Hawaii. The only thing worse then the pizza was the price at 24$. They call this a Margherita pizza but it's just a cheese pie with tomatoes slices on it. Not cooked enough, horrible cheese, dough that tastes and feels like pita bread. ‍

Brown's Deli is located right next to the pool. They open up pretty early (6:30 am) which is nice for the early birds who want coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The customer service is good but meh, everything else was mediocre. Of course, everything is overpriced at this resort but I expected better quality food and coffee. I've had the turkey sandwich (3.5/5), veggie wrap (3/5), California roll (2/5), chocolate chip cookie (3/5), and the iced vanilla latte (3/5). Nothing special really. They did have a good special on their tumblers and coffee commuter cups. If you purchased one for $20, your coffee and tea would be discounted if you go back for drinks and you would get the flavored syrup at no charge. The customer service was pretty good and if you purchase something, you have the option to charge it to your room. There are some picnic tables right outside near the pool but no seating area in the deli. Overall an alright spot to get coffee and quick grub. The food quality can be improved but I can't complain too much-if I'm at Brown's Deli, I'm at the beautiful Fairmont Orchid.

tuna sandwich

paid $19 for this tuna sandwich (which I expected since it's the fairmont) but I was hoping there would be more tuna for the price. Cute deli, lots of options including alcohol and ice cream. Service was great!

Delicious food, excellent service and beautiful views of the beach. The coffee wasn't great, but the service was!

Overpriced for the quality. I understand resort pricing but the usually comes with higher quality product.

Good for a quick cuppa coffee and drinks. The banana bread and blueberry muffin are delicious. Staff is super friendly!

There's an ABC store here, a pricey market and a deli. We got some burgers that were just ok with overcooked fries and some groceries for our suite because we were cooking breakfast at the hotel. We were only $20 short of reaching the $300 spending requirement for the free gifts, which should speak to how frequently we visited and how much money we spent at this store. Despite being repeat customers, every visit was met with the same poor customer service. All of the cashiers who helped us were rude, curt, and could not even acknowledge the smallest greetings. The customer service was so unpleasant that it was not worth the experience. The food is not amazing, the prices are not great, and the only thing this place has is convenience--nothing more to offer. In one instance, I got a burger and a black milk tea with boba. I specifically told the cashier that I wanted boba, but she did not ring it up. When I inquired about the missing boba, a young employee addressed the matter with the cashier. They talked, and I said that if it cost more, I could pay for it. She rang up the boba with zero acknowledgment of her mistake. Nothing came out of her mouth. Complete silence. In another instance, I asked a cashier what the gifts were if we reached $300 in purchases. She did not say a word. She simply reached for a card with images of the gifts and placed it on the opposite side of where I was standing. She said nothing. I asked if those were the gifts, and she said yes. She then pulled out her phone while I looked at the card, and I simply said, "Okay, thank you." These are just a few examples of the many disturbing encounters we had with all of the cashiers. While on vacation in a tourist area, this is not the type of conduct or customer service one expects to experience. It was disturbing, and we dreaded going there despite the convenience.

The cashier was training so taking my order took a little while but he was very nice and apologized. The restaurant is all outdoors with pick your own seating. We came here another day for the breakfast buffet. Adults were $24, kids 6-12 were $12, and kids under 5 were free. All 3 of my kids are under 5 so we only paid about $50 for my family of 5! Great deal. They had an assortment of pastries and fruit, miso soup, breads, toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, Portuguese sausage, potato wedges, green salad, pancakes, rice, coffee and juice. For what we paid this buffet was worth it, but this is by no means a fancy buffet.

The food....meh. The cheeseburger was a frozen patty, like a "Bubba Burger" and clearly had been in the freezer for quite a while. Had a very odd taste. The whole thing was overly moist and sogged the bun something fierce. I ended up eating only about a third of it before giving up. The fries were just okay. The quesadilla was edible but nothing special. The pizza seemed like it was a cheap frozen variety, not even as good as a Tombstone or Red Baron. The whole menu seemed like it was just geared for kids but priced for adults. It also seemed strange that it closes up so early. Ultimately we just ended up eating at the many other places close by. Id pass on this place unless you really wanted to just hang out by the pool and get food there.

We were served THE most delicious fried chilen by the sweet auntie back there cooking away. Mac salad was THE bomb! The chicken katsu plate with two huge scoops of rice and a big scoop of that mac salad. It was the same fried chicke in bite size pieces and teriyake sauce to pour over top. Sweet Mother of Mercy everything was ono to the MAX. I highly recommend this Minit Stop for a meal.

They have no problem ignoring you and even giggle about it and talk trash about you while talking trash about their co-workers. If you ask them for help they tend to get fussy. I've seen this happen many times at THIS LOCATION and it's happened to me too. This was at night too and I've noticed that this location, particularly at night, has very rude employees. At the ending of the day it is a gas station and I'm there to get what I need and be on my way. Their food is great, I must say. The fried chicken and potato wedges--or even bentos is a MUST when stopping there. ***I was just there last night, 7/14/26 and there were 2 employees on the floor talking smack about one of their co-workers. I grabbed what I needed and waited at the register. The employee was standing about 6 feet away from me making drum noises on a pile of boxes and I asked her if anyone was at the register. She said "Yeah, SHE IS" and pointed to the other employee pulling trash from the hot food area. There was also another customer standing behind me waiting to check-out. The drumming of boxes continued too from the other employee.*** If you don't need to go there, go to the next gas station. They are my "emergency only" gas station and when on empty I'll put in $10 (when I actually need $85-$100) and fill up at the next gas station that deserves the business. 5 stars for food and 1 for customer service.
