Absolutely go to another dealership. This place has been a joke. I purchased my RV in February of this year. I called multiple times with my 45 days to find out about my tag (it came after the 45 days). I called again multiple times to get in touch with Tim Isgett and took several days for him to return a call ( I missed called and returned it within 10 minutes only to get told he was busy again). They say they offer up to 60 days free staying with Pirateland in Myrtle Beach and it's also advertised throughout the whole store. Well after several failed attempts to get information from Browns on this, I finally called Pirateland who stated this was an old promotion Browns used to offer and they don't offer it anymore. Also the door lock on my camper the screw doesn't stay in the frame cause by damage to the door that I will have to somehow fix. Save your time and frustration to go to another DV dealership. read more

The customer service has been less than helpful. When our camper was picked up, it was not prepared by the dealership to be transported which resulted in many issues that have not been addressed or corrected now in the 6 months that we have purchased it. Getting someone to return your call is very difficult. I have called the manufacturer myself and trying to deal with the issues without the dealer is insane. Do not try an spend your money here if u are shopping while black. Most unwelcoming. Only person said hello with a building full of ppl was the front desk clerk. Asked 2 different ppl to help us and no one ever came. We laughed at it a bit because their loss we had ore-approval for what we wanted. After buying new 5th wheel from Browns we pulled it to house, noticed it riding a little rough. I checked tires found one with 20psi others ranged 40 ,50, 55 . Got to home checked suspension, wet bolts had no grease at all . Bolts were so badly rusted had to drive them out and clean. This trailer should have not left the lot. This could have ended badly. Plugged trailer in to check out found front ac not working. We brought it to Blue Compass in Duncan SC formerly ( Sonnys RV ) for repairs. Stay away from Browns . read more

Truly a bait and switch operation. We are feeling personally assaulted by their tactics. Family owned and operated means nothing! Purchased an RV in March with information posted on website and confirmed with salesman. After traveling from MN, learning our delivery time had changed, and waiting for over 3 hours to take delivery we started the walk through, which began with the outside of trailer. Upon entering trailer, it was obviously not the one posted on the website or confirmed by sales representative. This left us with no option other than canceling the entire transaction. No compensation was offered for expenses incurred while traveling 1300 miles to pick up the RV or for the many cancelled camping reservations o. the return trip since we have no RV. Don't believe what you see on their website and only buy from them if you live local. Even then I suggest that buyers beware! read more

Bought RV on Friday, Was told by Kent (Finance) He would get with Service Manager "FIRST THING" sat. Morning to get a delivery Date. I called at 1 PM Sat Kents Response, "I have not had a chance to speak with him, I will let you know in about 1 hour" No Further Responses and they are closed till Tuesday. I call Tuesday Morning and still no delivery date, I call at noon. Kents Response. "They are servicing the unit I will ask and call you back" I call back at 3:30 I am told " Be here at 11am on Friday for a trech walkthrough and the delivery driver will follow you home. Get to Browns at 10:30 No Kent and No Rodney (Salesman) We are greeted by Woody (another salesman) who says he will be working with us and it will be a few minutes while he finds Kent, the unit is still in service. Approx 1:30 the unit comes out of "detailing" Its parked out front We go out to have a look and I noticed the rear AC is much cooler than the front. The tech measures the AC temp in and out its 10 degree difference. after some back and forth they are now going to replace the front AC again. (they said both units were replaced in service) They ask me to grab lunch and be back in about 1.5 hours. Get back to Browns. Im told they tested the unit and its fine. Go back out to the unit with Max (service) The unit is still only showing a 10 degree difference noy they are going to replace it, seems like intermittent issue. wait till thats done its better now. on the website they stated my unit was covered by the warranty for life, Lady from service offered to sell me an extended warranty when I inquired about the AC warranty Now I am asked to check off a check list, and we can go ahead and leave (its after 4pm, and there was NO WALK THROUGH) The driver calls at 7pm he had a blow out. Driver shows at 9pm (Eugene) Unit is filthy inside and has streaks all over the outside. We do our own walk through. I see evidence of 3 or 4 leaks and under the sofa the floor is rotted This is a 2018 forest River. approximately 1/3 of the floor under the sofa is Rotted (Part of slide out), and the 2x2 wall structure Bottom plates are completely rotted away on one side and approx. 2 feet on the other end. Not a minor issue. I get Emails from Rodney (sales) and Bert in service asking about problems and asking for highest marks on a survey. Of course no response to what was found after the fact. I would advise any buyer looking at Browns to RUN away don't walk Run. Once they get your signature and money they could care less about doing what they agree to do and it obvious they will go out of their way to hide damages to an RV, they certainly are not up front in disclosing damages or issues. their detailing is a Joke. Kent will go to any length to get a sale including falsifying loan documents. Which I intend to take up with Aqua Finance. I am reminded of the old, "USED CAR SALESMAN" warnings we all used to get. read more

The main reason is saying the STAY AWAY from this place is because their lack of knowledge of what they are selling and therefore can't even tell you what is wrong. I drove 5 hrs to look at a Class A RV. After 2 hrs off checking it out, we found a few expected issues with an older coach and asked the salesman to test a couple systems we didn't get to, he agreed the next day we worked out a deal and we agreed to tow our trade in down 10 days later and pick it up. I called 2 days prior to pick up day to confirm everything. On pickup days I towed my trade in camper 5 hrs down and arrived early to a salesman who seemed surprised of my arrival and told me that they just got around to checking it out and found a leak, two bad faucets and a major heating system that was not operational. After 4 hrs waiting on a solution, they agreed that they would fix these items, but no idea when. I left my trade in to avoid towing it back and went home. The next day I got the same response...we will fix it, not sure when. Another day later the manager finally found a solution and I thought I was happy. I arrive 8 days later and they were still working on it so we waited another 4 hours for them to finish. I asked to be taught about the air suspension and leveling systems and I was told that the manual part didn't work but it was automatic. I told the salesman that it had a travel mode and a leveling mode, to which he replied that it was always just "on". I asked for a mechanic who understood the operation and they sent out the owner who told me that it was like a cadillac...it was always on. I again explained how it worked and he showed me the coach in its "cruising mode".....I doubt the air bags were even inflated. I then asked to see the tag axel lift and they didn't known they were supposed to,..they never did produce a mechanic, or anyone else, that understood the operation of these systems. What bothers me isn't the poor customer service or selling older coaches with issues (they all have issues)....it is not knowing enough about their products to even understand how it works or know when it doesn't work! They gave me back my money and my travel trailer and that seemed almost normal to them. Additionally, they was another customer that day that told everyone at the store how terrible Brown's RV was and to avoid them....2 hours later I believed her! read more

My father-in-law took his RV in for what he was told was a 4 hour job.. they have had his RV for 5 MONTHS and counting. Every week he gets the same answer, "they will start working on it Friday". Every Friday when he calls back he gets the answer "(such and such) didn't show up today and will not be here tomorrow". Total BS. read more

We bought our camper in April 2022 when we took possession of the camper four days later we were told a part needed to be ordered for our stove oven. The technician never ordered the part we went to we went back to Brown's four days later to take possession of the camper the part was still not in we were told that they would order it now we just made our first payment second payment is now due and we have no part for the stove and we're taking our first camping trip in the camper with no working stove. Spent over an hour inside the service center just to find out that they had not ordered the part. We would not recommend buying anything from Browns although their RVs are pretty reasonably priced and service department seriously lacks customer service and follow up with customers. We heard nothing but excuses when we came in to pick up the part on our third attempted trip. We live an hour and a half away from this place this is the most unprofessional customer service I've ever experienced. Last time we will ever contact Browns RV. read more

I purchased a 2006 Trail Lite 21RBH from your company on 7/26/17. Prior to the purchase, the RV was "checked out in your shop", and I was assured that everything was in working order. Before purchasing, we received a written confirmation of this and a 30-day guarantee to that effect. Since picking up the RV on 7/28/17, multiple parts/appliances have either broken down along with several other issues for which my son has contacted you about. Wish I could rate with ZERO stars!!! Browns RV is probably the worst "service after the sale" of any place I have ever been in my life. I will say, I believe I got a good price for the RV but anything beyond that was a joke. I bought a brand new Open Range 427BHS for approximately $63,000 and paid cash in October of 2020. We walked through the RV a month before we purchased it and noticed that the table in the bunkhouse was broken. We brought it to their attention and put a deposit on the unit and told them we would be back in a month to pick it up. We did go back in a month and picked it up and to our surprise they still had not fixed the table. We were told then it was because the table had to be ordered and everything associated with RV parts was backed up due to the pandemic. 3 weeks after we had taken delivery, I called them to see if the table was in, nope still on order. 4 weeks after taken delivery, I called again and they couldn't find where it had been ordered. During all of this time, I would call and call and couldn't get the right person on the phone. They said they would have the right person call and no one would ever call. After about week 5 I called again to check and see if the table was in and to also order some brackets that had broken, again couldn't get the right person on the phone. Finally, I spoke to the general manager, Bert, and he seemed to get things moving and got the items ordered. Moving on to December- still no table, no brackets....nothing. I ended up trading the RV in at Campers Inn in Tucker GA. To this day, April of 2021, I still have not got a call about the table or parts that were supposedly ordered. Good thing I don't need them now. Next problem, because I traded the RV in on December, I contacted Browns to get a refund of $2500 for the extended warranty I purchased. I ended up having to contact the warranty company myself to cancel the warranty and send them the paperwork that I had already sent to Browns 2 months Prior(this was in February) because evidently I was lied to and Browns had never sent the cancellation in. The warranty company had no records of it. I have now been waiting for 4 months for a check....the past 2 months knowing it has been canceled....can't get anyone to call me back. I did talk to Bert again about 2 weeks ago and supposedly they were on it and going to get me what was owed. To present day, called them on Monday 4/12/2020...finally spoke to someone, not the right person I guess, was told the check was being mailed out that day and she was going to call me back that afternoon to get me the amount and confirm the mailing. It's 4:30pm on Friday 4/16/2020, I just called them again because I never heard back from the Monday call and of course they can't get the right person on the phone. Oh and by the way, still no check on the mail. This has been the worst experience I have ever been involved in when it comes to retail/consumer sales. Unbelievable. If you want any kind of service after the sale, stay away from Brown's RV superstore. They only thing super about their store is the way they avoid you after the purchase. Don't shop here. Three months later and they haven't sent me the aorta they promised or my registration. They 'forgot' to collect taxes apparently and it took me going to the DMV for then to tell me that's the reason they never did the registration. So I've been sitting on a 16000$ paperweight not able to use it because they forgot to add the sales tax in. Now I have to pay and ADDITIONAL 600$. Even though the employees admit that Kent made an error in processing my paperwork. The manager wasn't even willing to go half on THEIR error. Countless calls, wasted time and lies. This dealership is terrible and I would not recommend it. I purchased a Class C and it started having problems immediately. After more issues, I decided to sell it. As a result, I cancelled the warranties (or I thought I did). After three months, do you think I received the refunds?? Nope!! The finance manager I worked with just fast talked his way through the contract, then didn't forward all of my warranty cancellation paperwork. Well I must say, I love my new motorhome choice (Fleetwood Pace Arrow 38K) and Brown's RV Superstore happened to have the only one close to me that was available...... However it went downhill from there. Brandon was our sales person, nice guy. Admittedly new to the business and didn't know much about the model we purchased. We had done our research and knew more. At purchase there were obvious things noted to be fixed/warranty items and we "purchased" additional items to be installed. Excited about our purchase, we took our new motorhome out for a 2 week trip and of course we found additional things that needed attention. We took it back to Browns with our list of things, the original items noted, and the "purchased" items were to be done. After much run around and avoidance and After leaving it there for 2 months......the "purchased" items were completed. The warranty items were still awaiting "authorization" from the manufacturer. Seems to be an ongoing excuse as mentioned in other reviews. Called manufacturer and no warranty requests had been made??? Called Brandon our sales person he was outraged......said he would have owner Barry Brown call us. Barry Brown....crickets......too busy cruising in his orange tang....... Browns RV Superstore is a joke! Brown's RV does not have a knowledgeable sales, service or management staff. Browns RV does not care about customers after a sale and are full of excuses, excuses excuses! They will not return calls and just want to make sale! Had to give Brown's RV Superstore a 1-star rating because there is no "zero" star option. They've had my "new" 2020 Thor Magnitude Super "C" motor home for 8 1/2 months for warranty repairs. They've tried to fix several things, only to make it worse than before they started the repair. Communication with the customer is virtually nonexistent, and when you call them, it's one excuse after another as to why my RV warranty repairs are not yet completed. They claim to be the home of the "lifetime warranty repair". That warranty is only as good as the service provided by the dealer. If you're willing to live without your RV for 8-plus months waiting on repairs, I guess Brown's is the dealer for you. Wish this was all a dream, but sadly, it's true, and I've yet to get my RV back. May 13, 2021 will mark the 9th full month they've had it. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau, but that's a long process. Once Brown' RV sells you something, you're on your own. Better hope you have a servicing dealer in your local area who is willing to work with you. Otherwise, fix it yourself or pay someone to fix it for you. Anything is better than Brown's RV keeping your RV for an extended period of time, only to have substandard repairs completed that will probably have to be addressed again in the future. Guess I was the dumba** who fell for their slick line and promises of maintenance free RVing. Never again. Think long and hard before doing business with this dealer. They are giving Thor and the rest of the RV industry a really bad reputation. read more

I bought a used 2015 RV from Browns in September 19' & could not be happier with the service and the salesmen. They have gone over and above to meet all my expectations. Barry, Bert, and especially James Catoe, have gone out of their way to make sure I understood the towing process and done everything they can to make us "happy campers". I know that if I have to return for any service related issues that- barring the time it takes to get parts from various manufacturers and things outside their control- they will give me just as good of service. Well, here we are a year later, and they STILL have my camper. I contacted Consumer Affairs in SC, at the beginning of the year because I hadn't heard anything from Brown's. I quickly received a call from Brown's. Of course, the man was new, knew NOTHING about it and would get back to me. Eventually he found it. It's been done since November! Now they're supposed to be selling it for us since I DON'T want the piece of garbage back. My husband and I purchased that camper in April 2017, and physically only had our camper a total of 3 months! They have had physical custody of the camper for almost a year. The ownership and payments should now fall into their laps, as possession is 9/10's of the law! I last contacted them in February, and on their end, CRICKETS! So, please keep that in mind if you are purchasing a camper from BROWN'S RV SUPERSTORE. If you are picturing peaceful nights by the campfire, because it is nothing compared to silence you receive when you actually try to use that Lifetime Warranty they're so proud of! read more

My wife and I live 2-1/2 hours away from this establishment so we scheduled an appointment with this company and right away knew it was going to be an unpleasant visit when arrived. Upon arrival, we were told that the salesperson we scheduled with had a last minute walk-in and would be with us within minutes. As we waited for 15 minutes, we finally were greeted by our salesperson we scheduled with, which promptly asked us to browse the rv units as the salesperson was still with the walk-in customers. Because of the COVID-19 situation, we chalked it up as this being the reason for discord. As we walked through the units for another 30 minutes, we found a unit we wanted to purchase. The salesperson finally met up with us and proceeded the usual sales pitch, which comes with buying anything. So after the sales pitch, we finally went in to finish the financing portion of the sale. When we sat down with the salesperson we explained the importance of keeping our credit in high standing. We explained to them that we have no loans and no debt which put us in the 800 bracket for our FICO score and wanted to keep our score in the 800's for future possible home loans. The salesperson then guaranteed us that their finance department would run 1 hard inquiry against our credit. After signing papers and waiting for 3 hours with no results, the salesperson asked to call us tomorrow with the results. So we did. Day one goes by, then at the middle of day two, I contacted the salesperson about the status and the 6 hard inquires their finance companies performed. The salesperson of course acted surprised and said that they would get to the bottom of the disconnect between the sales floor and the finance department. The salesperson then promised to call us by the end of day two. Of course there was no call, so at the beginning of day 3, I attempted to contact the salesperson (which I later came to the conclusion that the salesperson might have been screening my calls, because of the number of hard inquiries they ran on our credit, which in turn may have turned a little white lie into a lie as big as an elephant) The salesperson never returned our call. So by the middle of the 3rd day we had another 6 hard inquiries, which prompted me to call to speak to the finance manager. The finance manager reassured us that our credit would only be affected by 5 points and that they only sent our information to 3 finance establishments and would have our salesperson contact us at the beginning of day 4. I asked the manager if there was anything we could do to help. The manger then said no, we have no debt, good credit and make more than enough to purchase the unit. Of course we didn't hear from our salesperson on day 4, so I attempted to contact the salesperson and finance manager on day 5. We left voice messages and well as messages with the clerk, which again assured that both parties would get the messages and return our call. There was never any return calls. It is now day 14, 13 hard inquiries, a credit score now in the 700's and 15 attempts to contact the manager and salesperson through days 6-14 with no call back, common courtesy, respect, resolution or respect. Communication with the service department is terrible. Made three trips and two were useless

First off I have read some of the poor reviews and they seem a little unreasonable. When buying a used camper from a dealer or private party you need to realize the camper is USED - it WILL have issues. For the most part campers are not built like you car or house - even the best quality campers require maintenance and upkeep. If you searched craigslist or the like you will frequently see "no leaks" as a selling point - that's because campers have a tendency to leak. When purchasing a used camper you have no idea how the last person took care of the camper. Keep your expectations in line with what you are purchasing. If you are looking at something use and something seems suspect then don't buy the camper - not rocket science. Second, they do try to sell you on a lifetime warranty but you don't have to buy it. Just like when you buy a car there are extras but if you don't want it don't buy it. This a business not a charity. But having just said campers require maintenance and upkeep and you can still have problems you might want to think a little harder about the lifetime warranty or the extended warranty. This warranty requires annual maintenance which if you live in the area of the dealer would most likely be done by the dealer - again they are a business. You should be doing annual maintenance on your camper anyway. Third, if your sales person is not responsive enough tell them. I did and the problem was solved. Instead if trading phone calls we used text and email. Basically, yes you are buying a camper/boat but so is the other person the sales rep is working with. Maybe the sales rep needs to learn some time management skills but they can't correct what they don't know is wrong. My experience was pretty darn good. I did everything up until the point of purchase by phone/email/text. The sales rep took the time to takes some special internal measurements even though he was extremely busy. The finance area work to get the payments where i wanted them and helped me set up a wire for the down payment. I use an online bank so a certified check was not really an option. I picked up a few items like vent screens from the shop and the customer service was incredible. When we were moving stuff out of the old camper and into the new one on the employees even lent us a helping hand. A huge helping hand actually. I am a pretty picky and i think they did a great job. I will mention that I purchased a new camper and I did purchase the warranty because the cost was reasonable. You purchase insurance to protect against the worst - the insurer can offer the insurance because the worst doesn't happen to everyone. I bought a beautiful new camper I intend on having for a long time and for me the insurance made sense - or maybe I am just getting old. read more

We traveled all the way from Kansas to South Carolina to purchase our dream RV. Here is why: We were very impressed with Darrin Gainey when we called to discuss a RV we saw online. He wasn't pushy and sent us pictures of the 2 were couldn't decide between. He answered all of our questions honestly. We had honestly thought we would wait until retirement to make this purchase (another 10 years), but we had the opportunity to go ahead and make that dream come true and between him and Bert, they made the process so easy. They were easy to negotiate with and they had the RV that had the features we determined we really wanted. We searched nationwide, but nobody could match the prices and the friendly people at Browns RV. Yes, we could have bought one closer but The Unlimited Warranty was a huge selling point in itself and the fact that nobody was pushing us and that they were just friendly people wanting to help us made our decision easy. We did have them add the Furrion Camera system to our RV just to make towing easier since we have never pulled anything with our truck before. It was worth every penny as we could see when truckers were beside us and we could see behind and on the sides of the RV when we needed to change lanes. Our only complaint would be: when teaching us how to remove and put on the stabilizer bars, there is a MUCH easier way then they way they showed us. The guy doing our tour spent 45 minutes trying to get them off and on. Thankfully my sister and her husband showed us the easy way (just keep raising the electric tongue until they loosen). The other thing is now we have 2 holes drilled into our new truck that should not have been drilled to put in the RV brakes, since our truck already had that. The service guy should have asked instead of seeing ours and still installing it, which they ended up removing and reimbursing us the cost they had charged. read more

I wrote a long google review, they pretty much screwed us over... they told me to drop off my defective mattress which we discovered the night we picked up the RV on 3/22/18... we dropped the mattress off the next time we were in the area 4/4/18. Today is 5/28/18 and we start lol haven't received a call from them, I installed a new mattress this morning, which cost me 400.00 on amazon and it's incredible! I spent 26k for my travel trailer, and this is the service I received. Our closest friends who are also getting an RV will be getting their travel trailer somewhere else ... at Browns... once you sign the paperwork... you're no longer a priority. Sad. But to the woman who posted pictures of her mom with recent brain surgery, I'm glad Browns helped you, I'll pray for the recovery of your mom... and when Browns ever does get my mattress in I hope they donate that money to your mom and family... Brown's RV is a major rip off! My mother has brain cancer and i have animals so I went there with cash in hand to purchase a used RV. I located one that they claimed they would do the repairs and have ready so I could go to FL for my mom's birthday n spend a month or longer there without any concerns of break down. They were suppose to check the fluids, do an oil change, fix some cosmetic issues, the AC n exhaust. They extended their work time by a week n when i picked up claimed all was fixed n everything was ready to go; i could make a 4000 mile trip without any worries; go to TX pick up my aunt n head to FL. To datetion all i have been able to do is drive it back to Brown's because they lied about the repairs and deliberately messed up other things, such as removingI hoses n etc. i have spent $180 on gas for it to be repaired n it runs n works the same as the original test drive! I can't get them to make my issues a priority n they made me miss my mom's g birthday n this has turned into a nightmare! Traci, here it is December and the issues are still not resolved. I contracted a man and he has fixed some of the things and the other things I need assistance from Brown's RV and yet I have heard I expect too much, but in reality all I have expected was for Brown's to keep their word. They have tried to claim one AC was not manufacturer original and after research it is and for that to be fixed i have to pull a part half the RV to find out where the short is in it. The vehicle AC is not holding freon and nothing that they were suppose to do has been done with the exception of actually putting in batteries that work. Brown's RV has avoided my contractor and not given any solution or even offered to pay for the wasted gas or what I have paid out to do what they originally agreed to do. You have my phone number and I call there often so if you are serious about resolving this make contact, reach out to me and not just post on my review giving the impression that you are doing something that you are not. My news plans for seeing my mom with an RV trip is for March 15,2017. I do first residency in Atlanta on the 16th of March and afterwards if I can trust the vehicle plan to go see mom. If you really are serious then fix the things you guaranteed which at this point I don't trust your company so pay my contractor whom is a lot cheaper and does the job right this first go around. Horrible service!!! Took camper in for a small insurance estimate for water damage. Every call noone knew anything, no return calls on messages, the only guy that done ins. Est. was never there, insurance couldn't even get info. On it so they were calling us to try and get with them, Keys got lost, at one point no info on it could be found, said estimate was done 2 months in and wasn't even done on the right place, after 2 more months it was never done we just went and picked it up. 4 months was way to long! Not to mention that on top of the damage it had, it received more because it sat uncovered and we had numerous hard rains during that period. I don't suggest them to amyone, I'd drive the extra miles. A new camper sales in Hartsville could definitely put them out of business! read more

I bought a brand new Star craft travel trailer from Brown's back in February of 2014. On our drive over I thought this place was in the middle of no where. I wondered how they stay in business way out in McBee. So my wife and I get there and was greeted with a smile and a hand shake from an older man named Mr. Neil. He listened to what my wife and I wanted and took us to the perfect camper. Neil was very knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions. When it came down to buying one we got a very good price right off the bat. My wife wanted to think about it over night and check with our credit union for the best interest rates. The next day we gave our info to Barbra the finance lady and she was able to get us a 3.99% interest rate beating our credit union. I decided to write this review today because we went to FL on vacation and our air conditioner went out so we called Camping World and they said it would be 2weeks before they could get us in. My wife and I didn't know what to do, she was so upset after all this was our vacation. So we called Browns and told them what was going on, they said no worries we'll get you taken care of. The next thing I know this guy knocks on the door told us Brown's had sent him out to fix the A\C. After a few minutes he replaced the backer and it was working again. I called Brown's back to thank them and they said no worries if they have to they will find an independent repair man, pay him with a credit card over the phone and file the warranty claim as if they did the work. We took our trailer in for repair due to faulty tire exploding. Part of the repair was the underside of the trailer. They had the trailer for about 4 months. Yes always one excuse after another. We had to store the trailer for a year due to a military remote tour. THEY TAPED THE UNDERSIDE instead of securing it properly. The tape didn't hold and mice got in the trailer and ate electrical wires. You can call everyday and they promise to call back. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere read more

Called about one RV that Brown's had in stock. The salesman directed me to another RV which was a far better model. There was a price mentioned for it, but I didn't want to agree until I actually saw the unit in person. We agreed that I could put a $500 hold fee down so that I could get down and see the unit. I gave a credit card number to hold the unit, and the dealership charged me $1000 on that card without asking to raise the amount for the hold fee. This is evidently not an uncommon event with that dealership from the other reviews. And the salesman was constantly telling me to fill out the credit app when we didn't have a sales contract yet, and pushing to have me buy it sight unseen and delivered due to our distance from the dealership. I was furious about the overcharge on my card. I asked to have the entire $1000 refunded and told them that I would not use the dealership at all. Not even an apology about that, just an explanation that the extra $500 was due to our distance from the dealership. They did refund it, and all communication stopped. They don't ask, they just take what they think they are due! read more

After reading all these horrible reviews why would anyone buy a RV from this business. My family and I were heading that way for their show I heard about on the radio. I am glad for the honest reviews I read in here. I am sorry to say but this company shouldn't be in business. read more
