My impression was that they were trying to "milk" my insurance provider for everything they could get. I canceled a further follow-up appointment. They then sent me a registered letter that was somewhat threatening that I was endangering my health by not allowing them to treat me. I did send them a response letter in which I agreed to one additional visit so that they could review what had been done. Then, after the implant an unexpected issue developed in that there was a small gap between the gum line and the implant. I was really concerned that it would remain that way for ever, but Dr. Hiranaka stepped up, did a fascinating "gum grafting procedure" that worked, problem resolved ! Absolutely amazing how he was able to graft in tissue that then grew in to close the gap. I never imagined that plastic surgery could be so natural and holistic.
