Thank God! Ana did such a great job. She made sure I checked in the mirror multiple times to guarantee the shape that I was happy with. Her studio is very clean and in a beautiful building by the Galleria mall. She is very friendly and just an overall sweetheart with lots of talent! It didn't hurt since she used numbing cream, but once I left I had a raging headache so I rushed across the street to CVS and bought some Tylenol and I was fine. She also gives you cool vizors to tape to your forehead when you shower to not get your eyebrows wet the first few days, and tiny containers of tattoo butter to keep them moist, and baby soap to wash them. Her rates are very reasonable considering how expensive she actually Should be (yes she's THAT good). I booked this appointment about a week prior. I had received emails reminding me about my appointment leading up to the day. Around 8am the day of Anna texted me saying since I hadn't confirmed my appointment or filled out the form, I had until 10am that day to respond or she was going to cancel my appointment, mind you I had no intention of not showing up but I was sleeping when she sent that message and I didn't wake up until 10:30am and by the time I saw her message I was rushing out of my house to another appointment I had that day so I quickly filled out the form and forgot to respond to her message. I thought my filing out the form would be sufficient enough to let her know I was still planning on coming since I had no intention of canceling on her, but unfortunately this wasn't good enough. Anna texted me around noon and said since she hadn't received any sort of response from me she was going to cancel my appointment and mark me as a no show due to the fact that I didn't confirm my appointment and she's had other clients do this to her in the past. Mind you this was my first time booking with her. I then proceeded to answer promptly and stated it was my mistake for not responding but I did fill out the form and I had no intention of canceling or no showing on her. To my surprise when she responded shortly after she said she had already given my spot away to other clients that were ready to book with her. She said she recently started doing this due to her increase in new clients trying to book and other contacts booking and not confirming their appointments. To which I responded with I understand that her time is valuable but I once again stated it was never my intention to flake on her. She then proceeded to offer me another time the same day but due to this experience I decided I will not be re booking with her today or in the future. I later went and checked on her website that I used to book and re read the cancellation policy. No where did it state that she has the right to cancel any appointment if you don't respond to her texts (especially if she contacts you at early hours, giving you a two hour time window on the morning of your appointment to respond). I honestly believe had she given me more time to respond to her text I wo or if she had just reached out to me via text during the week I would've responded and conand we could've avoided this whole situation but unfortunately this is where things ended. If your going to book with her make sure you answer any texts she sends you in a timely manner or she will cancel your booking. I've provided pictures as proof. Ps. I was hesitant to share something so personal on Yelp. However, I found Demi through Yelp and I…read morewanted to share my experience. I rarely wear makeup. I think brows really frame the face and I didn't like how my eyebrows were becoming sparse with my left one thinning more. I had been curious about permanent makeup, both brows and liner, for years. I browsed online and checked out multiple artists. I read through hundreds of Yelp reviews! I did my homework and had several consults. I loved meeting Demi and she put me at ease. Demi really listened to what I wanted. She could also tell after our meeting and looking at my face what would look best on me. I was impressed by her knowledge and experience. Her salon is small, but spotless. It's located within the Sola Salon building. On the day of the treatment, Demi had booked the entire afternoon for me so she could take her time. She was very methodical. She measured my brows, sketched out an outline and asked for my approval. I started to relax at this point because I was SO nervous having never had any sort of permanent procedure. She suggested and showed me the colors she recommended. My brows were then numbed and she did both microblading and shading. I didn't feel any pain at all. After my brows were completed, Demi did my lash line eyeliner. She drew a sample line first and numbed my eyes. The procedure did not hurt, but it was more uncomfortable because it's so close to my eyeballs. :) Demi finished everything in 3 hours. She went over my after care instructions and sent me home with products to use. She was so sweet and told me to text her with any questions. The results?!! It's been 10 days and I love it! I have to admit that my brows were crazy dark the first few days. My boys were shocked. Haha. I followed Demi's aftercare instructions exactly. There were a few days of itching and flaking, but my brows are now mostly healed, a lighter color and feel good. I will see Demi in a month for a touch up.
