Even though I do have a good amount of brow hair, it's too light, so I would always color in my brows. I can never seem to make my brows look natural... it would be so obvious that I drew them and because of my heavy hand, they would look like sharpie brows! I finally built up the courage to get my eyebrows microbladed. I looked at so many other places, but was worried that I would get too much of a "western" look. I was looking for something more natural and more "Korean" so that my brows would shape my face more naturally. I found this place while literally searching "Korean microblading" and I'm so glad I did! Minji was such a pleasure to text before making my appointment. I was running late to my first appointment (blame the MTA!) and I was so worried because I had an evening appointment and I didn't want to hold up her schedule/night, but she was so reassuring and helped me catch my breath. She was even more fantastic in person! I have a LOT of fears - pain, shape, etc. Minji calmed me down a lot and talked me through the entire process. She even used her own eyebrows to help me visualize and ultimately achieve what I really wanted (I was having a hard time putting my wants in words!). The whole thing really feels like a slight scratch on your face. No pain whatsoever. I honestly think the most "painful" part of this experience was plucking some of my stray hairs. I'm telling you, I freak out at pain, but this was nothing at all. After the "procedure", I freaked out at how dark my eyebrows were (the darkness is completely normal) and Minji helped calm me down (again, I have a LOT of fears haha). But the shape - the shape was perfect!! Exactly what I wanted. I was too scared to hold the handheld mirror that Minji provides, but after I saw what she did, I couldn't let go! I started to really enjoy the whole process and she encouraged me to let her know any changes I wanted. The healing process was surprisingly not so bad. My coworker showed me pictures of her healing process when she had her eyebrows microbladed somewhere else, and I almost cried. The pictures showed her eyebrows getting super flaky and then turning white/no eyebrows. BUT - I didn't have that "ugly phase". My brows flaked off almost all at once, but some of the color had already retained, so I never looked like I didn't have any eyebrows. The "dark phase" only lasted about 5 days for me. My next appointment is finally coming up this Friday!! My left eyebrow is almost perfect, but my right eyebrow definitely needs some extra color. I have extremely oily skin, which Minji and I had talked about. More online research showed that oily skin will definitely affect the microblading process (color doesn't retain as well), but with what I have now, I know that I put my face and brows in the right hands. I've been raving about Minji to my coworkers who are marveling at how fast and nice my healing process was. Everyone can already see the shape and have noticed how my eyebrows have a nice color (so I look human now!!!!). Definitely pay a visit to Minji - she will take care of you and your brows.

I asked soooo many questions and was met with honest suggestions, you could tell they aren't money hungry and care about their clients. They started with threading where she asked me how I typically like the shape to look (I'm never asked that, so I was shocked). Then, she made them thinner so the lamination would look natural. I have a sparse tail, so she advised me to get them tinted as well, but I chickened out lol (I'll get it tinted next time) Eventually, I decided I also wanted a lash lift just to try it out. She (I wish I remember her name) took me to the back room and explained every step she was doing with my lashes. The room was relaxing enough to the point where I fell asleep. The lash lift took an hour, then she began laminating my brows . After the treatment, she gave me the do's and don'ts for maintenance. I will be going back for my 5-week brow lamination refresh here on out! I'll never cheat on this place !!

I ran into a friend who works in the beauty industry and her brows were looking PERFECT, and she told me about Eye Design and powder brows. I had my first application in December 2024 and just went back for a touch up 14 months later. Powder brows give a soft look so I still occasionally wear brow pencil for a night out, but it's amazing not having to do anything to my brows for work, the beach, etc. Laura did a fantastic job with my brows and she is super friendly, which is a big plus when you're essentially getting a tattoo on your face. They give my face structure but they're not too thick or harsh. The first application is a little uncomfortable but not as intense as a regular tattoo. The touch ups were barely uncomfortable at all. From what I understand the healing process varies from person to person, but the first time I got mine done it was pretty unsightly for a couple of weeks after. It takes 4-6 weeks for them to be fully healed. You need to avoid getting your brows wet for the first 5-6 days, so you definitely don't want to go right before vacation or a big event. I couldn't be happier with my brows and highly, highly recommend Eye Design.

I am giving this company one star for: extremely bad customer service, unauthorized use of photos, and theft of funds: I had micro blading on my eyebrows and permanent makeup done with Nadia in February 2022. 1 paid her $1,600.00 dollars in cash and asked if I could put the rest on my credit card. She said no problem. The office charged the entire amount to my credit card and never gave me a refund for the cash payment. Over an eight month period, Shantel told me over phone and text I would receive a refund, but it never came. The office also posted an unobstructed closeup photo of my full face to Nadia's instagram, even though I had asked them not post images of me anywhere. They took down the photo after I asked for it to be removed. I will definitely not be back.

This was my first time getting any type of PMU and it's really one of those things where you just had to trust the process. My brows faded pretty badly after my first appointment, and when I did my touch up, I thought the pigment wouldn't stay again but I was wrong and the pigments slowly reappeared after around a month! I waited 4 months to get this appointment (I can only make it to the 5pm appointments because of work and hence the longer wait time) and it was absolutely worth it! She has really strict rules with the aftercare (can't wash hair for a week and can't let steam or water get onto the face) but your brows will turn out great as long as you follow them! Hopefully they will last long! Will definitely come back for my future touch ups!

I walked in and was helped immediately (by Zoe if I recall right) who had me fill out a form on an iPad since it was my first time there and then asked me what I wanted--which was just to clean up my brows & do some shaping/make it even on both sides.
