I was very nervous at first but she made me feel super comfortable since the beginning. Told me what she thought was best for my face and made sure I was okay with everything before we started the process. Even with the numbing I was still able to feel a little pain where my brow bone was but it was totally still way less painful than an actual tattoo. She was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable the minute she said hello. She walked me thru every step of what she was going to do to my eyebrows. I had them tattooed years before but they were very faded and needed to be redone. I was completely satisfied with the work Lydia did. She completely covered the old color previously on my brows with a much softer much more flattering color. She also reshaped my brows. They look fabulous!! I waited for a couple of days to see how my brows will really turn out but everyday I always wake up feeling pretty and very satisfied!!! I always knew that I wanted to get my brows done because of so many reasons that I will not further elaborate here . Mostly, to save my time in doing it every day... especially after being a mom, time is essential for me. Anyhoos I went to yelp and typed up microblading (at that time I wasn't aware of ombre brows), Brows studio was the one of the first ones to pop up. I went to the page and looked up reviews and photos of Maureens work. I immediately loved it!!! She does not have a lot of reviews but all reviews were positive. The photos of her work were phenomenal too! I browse other studios but none compared to her work so I decided to give her a call and ask for more infos. She immediately picked up and answered all of my questions. I booked my appointment for Nov 1st, and was sooooo excited!!! During the day of the appointment she texted me that I can come in early if I can, but due to traffic I ended up coming 5 minutes late When I arrived to the salon, she greeted me and we went to her room. It was clean and very well kept. She first sat with me and went to explain all the details of what were about to do. Everything was explained before we started the procedure which I liked so I knew what to expect. She first started to do the shaping, my eyes were closed the whole time but she made sure that I was comfortable. It took her probably about 20 mins or so to do the shaping...... and when I saw it, I immediately fell in love!!!!! I was like "OMG Let's do it!!!" The whole procedure didn't take a long time. I arrived at 1535 and we were done by like 1730. She used a numbing cream to help with the discomfort but I honestly didn't mind the pain I came out of her salon feeling absolutely satisfied and pretty. I do not regret coming to her at all.
