Located in the Sprouts shopping center at 32nd Street and Indian School, nextdoor to Giusseppe's, this salon takes walk-ins and they are fast! You can be in and out in 10 minutes! Fast service...in and out in under 10 minutes. The place rarely opens on time tho. So if you plan on getting there when they're fresh by being the first person for the day, you better call before you go! 'Open at 11:00' means any time between 11 and 12! The prices are inexpensive. I've even tried the eyelash extensions. That's right! They stayed in place for over two weeks! Even then, I went through great efforts to get them off. read more

No appointments required, debit cards accepted and the customer service is just darling. 10:30am-7pm *every day* of the week. No excuse not to look stunning :) Hair removal is focused on the face. No arm, leg or [gasp] bikini area here. Henna tattoos are available as well. I've always been a proponent of threading over waxing. The accuracy level is off the charts. Hair can be removed on a row by row level. (No risk that wax is going to accidentally spread.) Guys: Don't feel left out. You too can partake in the fun. I don't know why I came here again, thought she might have more experience, but for the last time this lady once again managed to fuck up my eyebrows. I use to come to here as a regular when I was younger. Every single time she would mess up or give me a big bald spot, I've had my eyelashes done here as well and it was also bad. The glue was so strong that it blinded me for a good 5 minutes, and don't know how she managed to get most of the glue in my eye ball instead my eyelash. I came here every couple of months for about a year and a half and was happy with the woman who was doing my face. Then I skipped about 4 months, came back, and it was a new person. I got my usual full face thread, and left with patchy skin and fuzz all over my face still. I won't be going back, the quality seems to have slipped. I'll be looking for a new spot. read more

I have been going to Reety to get my lashes done for a few months now and when I tell you she is THE BEST...I mean it. After I moved to AZ from the east coast I went through 3 different eyelash techs before finding her... I am NEVER giving her up. I have been here 3 times and honestly don't know why I'd go anywhere else. My eyebrows look great and it's very affordable at 8$. My only complaint is that the people who do the threading are not very friendly.... One time the girl talked on the phone while she did my eyebrows...the whole time.....not so professional. My brows looked great after and that's really all that matters BUT I have had them threaded many times at other places and this place by far wins first place as most painful threading experience of my life. I would give this place 5 stars but when they get more threaders in here I'll change it up. I don't like having to wait too long but you really have no choice when you come here. I really like the girl that normally works here, I just wish she had more help because it's pretty ridiculous to have to wait almost 20-30 minutes for something that takes less than 5 minutes. I went two weeks ago and there was a girl before me and she ended up getting her lashes done. Really?! I almost asked her if I could go before her because I just needed my brows threaded but the looks of her mom, she would have definitely said no. Yelpers led me to this threading studio and I wasn't impressed. You walk in, sign in and wait your turn. Ok, easy enough. I walked in, signed in and waited. 2 women and 1 guy were also waiting, so I had to stand there and wait. And I waited. And waited. And waited. I thought the threaders/receptionist were in the back, getting water, a snack, taking out the trash or taking a dump. I decided to ask the others if they'd been waiting long. Both women said yes and the man didn't repond. After 15 minutes, in walks a woman. The threader! Well hello there! She explains she had a busy day and needed to go get lunch because she was so hungry. Couldn't leave a note?! I mean it had been a good 15 minutes of wait time for me. Who knows HOW long the others were waiting. She starts speaking to the man in whatever language they speak and it turns out they know each other! Wow! Couldn't let us know homegirl was out getting lunch or better yet, couldn't offer me your chair?! I contemplated walking out right then and there, but seeing how I waited all that time and it was Friday, I might as well wait a little longer and get it done. She zoomed through the other people and it was finally my turn. I explained exactly what I needed, shape and all. Her execution was terrible. My brows were rounded with hardly ANY arch and she left behind a bunch of fuzz on my upper lip which I didn't notice til I was in the sunlight. Total waste of time and money. Advice for the owner/management: If you plan on leaving for more than 5 minutes, you might want to let the general public know by posting a note or locking up shop so people aren't sitting around wondering what's going on. Or better yet, shell out and hire a receptionist. read more

Thanks to a conversation, with Irene V., I am no longer a threading virgin! I've waxed my brows for years, she pushed me to try threading, but lamented there was nowhere in our area to get it done. I remember seeing Preety in this shopping plaza, and told Irene I'd check it out. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Dipty (who I believe is the owner) was there. This is the 5th location, open about 2 months, and the only one on the east side of town. The salon is clean, but a bit barren and lacking personality. But I wasn't there for a ritzy or pampering experience, I was there to get my brows in shape! Dipty went right to work. It takes about the same amount of time as waxing, but is far more accurate, less painful, and causes less irritation. (And I hear it will take longer to grow back. Bonus!) Her service was professional and friendly, and I'll definitely be back! Glad this place opened in the neighborhood! read more

I went to this place and the lady who did my eyebrows did a good job. The second time I came in, there were 3 people waiting and no one working. The girl came running back and said she had to grab lunch. I would suggest putting up a sign for people to come back instead of waiting. I left because I didn't want to wait. Decided to come back the next day at 6pm. Apparently they closed at 7pm, but decided to stop taking clients at 6pm. Terrible service. read more
