With tip it was $660 dollars. My friends who had their eyebrows done elsewhere, told me about $400 and that would cover the follow up (which is 5 weeks later). It took 2 texts and 3 phone calls to make the second one. That ended up being an additional $75 dollars. If I ever need another, it won't be with Amber.

There was a signed agreement promising future appointments at $150 for 3rd (she sent a $50 coupon that could be used so $100 for 3rd) appointment if needed- she refused future appointments until I went to a dermatologist because she insisted I had a color retention problem on one side. Instead I went to another business with a licensed artist at a different business who did a wonderful job. Never needed a dermatologist. Know there is a big difference between LICENSED and certified- go to a LICENSED artist with expert training. Check reviews - if the artist has a lot of experience there should be a lot of reviews - some good & some not so good. Look at after pics NOT just right after the work was done. Look for personal reference- anyone you can ask about the work they personally had done Compare prices - this business was 3 times the price of most. In no way am I saying that you should cut corners in a procedure like this. Just be aware. See pics - decide for yourself.

Then, as you'll see in all other negative reviews on all other review platform, Heidi bashed said friend, name called (you're crazy, you belong in a psych ward, etc.), & threatened legal action when my friend tried to resolve the concerns. Because when I explained the problem…read moreI'd been having with the kind of acrylic nail that another salon used, instead of switching to the old-school acrylic, Lila recommended polygel nails. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?
