Chris, the contractor, arrived within an hour of the flood caused by a fire sprinkler (over 200 gallons). He immediately surveyed the damage with a computerized program to find all water damage, especially that which was invisible to the eye. Heaters and fans were moved in to begin the drying process. The packers wrapped and boxed our home goods, and the demo team began removing damaged ceilings, floors, baseboards and walls. Chris was easily reached by phone/text and is a great communicator. He explained the whole process and was there to keep me calm throughout. Once all moisture was gone, the reconstruction team began replacing everything damaged. No one likes to have their day ruined by a ruptured supply line in their home , came home from work last week to find my self in 2 inches of standing water throughout my home. I was referred to Chris Trejo at BRS restoration through a buddy of mine. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Yelpers beware of this company. They are terrible, irresponsible, disorganized, terrible at communication, and will completely waste your time. How they have any decent reviews is baffling. I had several big projects that needed to be done for my rental property. BRS obviously wanted the project because it was $$$$ for them so they confidently said they could handle it all. That was a complete lie. They were terrible at communication and kept making up lies and putting blame on others (permits, subcontractors, inspections, etc). Every time it was some different excuse. I live far from the property so I was unable to be there to monitor their work and they completely took advantage of that. I don't know if they were busy with other jobs or they didn't have enough manpower to do our project or if they were just simply incompetent and incapable... but long story short, they wasted an entire year with their BS pathetic excuses and NO work was done!! What makes it worse is that apparently the company fired the entire team that was working on our project and never notified me. I only found out because I finally got in touch with the main office and raised hell with them. It took them a week to find my file and guess what, it was empty... no work done, no notes, no plan, no permits, no subcontractor documents, nothing submitted to the city, no engineering plans, nothing!! The new manager said this job was not even under their active files and that it is not a priority case despite wasting an entire year of my life... and that it would take them a few months just to get a new team out to check out the site and we would have to start all over again. I fired BRS, which I should've done a long time ago.. it was my fault for believing in this company and trusting their lies and I am writing this review in hopes that this company never does to anyone else what they did to me. I had to hire a new contractor and start all over again... an entire years worth of rental income loss! Anybody considering using BRS I strongly urge you to really think twice. read more

Beware of BrS Restoration Services, the company and project manager Carlos were not honest with us and did not complete the work they agreed to regarding our bathroom. They left our bathroom with bare walls and the stench of treated wood which our family, with infant and young kid, has to deal with. It started great with BrS when they did a thorough job of treating and drying our bathroom impacted by water damage. The problem began after we came to a bid agreement with project manager Carlos to restore the bathroom with drywall and paint. After we agreed to terms we could not get ahold of Carlos as he would not return our calls. After we signed an agreement and emailed it back to them a lady from their office called and claimed they couldn't read the files and needed it faxed. She also said she spoke with Carlos and he claimed they were too busy to complete the work. She said BrS Restoration is now recommending that we use another company to restore the bathroom and would give us contacts. WHAT???? After we have an agreement with work to be completed you don't want to complete the work and are willing to find another company!!!! Thanks for the great tip, USE "another company to get your work completed" because BrS Restoration Services can't complete a job they agree to do. ADVICE TAKEN!!!!! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Branford. We purchased a condo a year ago and had multiple plumbing issues/leaks that were building related. After water damage to our walls and floors over the past year, we finally reached out to our insurance co. They assigned Branford to come in and restore our condo (walls needed to closed, dry walled and painted and our floors needed to to completely replaced in multiple areas. Chris came out for the initial walkthrough and was on time and very curteous and COVID safe. He was upfront about the potential repairs ans time it would take to complete the job. Our repairs were scheduled promptly but to my surprise, Chris called sooner than that and told me the team could show up in 24 hours to get it done for us. Minor and Ramiro showed up the next day at 9am as promised. They were very kind and informative and had proper COVID practices in place. I left them alone for the day and came home to them being almost done entirely (sooner than discussed). The next day they came and finished the job in half a day. They even were so kind as to try and be quiet with my 1st grader doing her Zoom classes in the other room. My condo had been repaired and is in better condition than it was when we purchased it. My home flooded and I can't say enough or thank this company enough for handling the remediation so well. They were professional, prompt and delivered exactly what they promised. Taping off the areas to protect them from the dust was a chore but they refused to cut corners. They removed wet cabinets, baseboards and sheetrock. More than half of my house was stripped to the studs. They vacuumed the dust as they went, treated the studs for mold, set up blowers and dehumidifiers and hauled away the debris. Luis followed up, checking the status throughout the drying process, just as he promised he would. He was informative and took his time to make sure we were completely dry and ready for renovations. This company is completely dishonest. They will quote you one price, then charge double the amount. They performed mediation on my home after the historic freeze In Texas. First clue should have been the fact that they're not local. Guess they thought they could take advantage of the situation. Think again. They took weeks to submit the estimate, which ended up being double the quoted price. I disputed it and after a peer review, the amount was reduced to where it initially should have been. I'm sure they're not in agreement with the new amount but I'm just glad to be rid of them. I'll let them hash it out with the insurance company. Look elsewhere for water mediation. read more

I hired Brandford Restoration Services to do the restoration work and I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. They came out right away to provide a very reasonable estimate of costs. Both managers check in with me before and after each day when work was done to provide updates. Workers covered the entire area and did a great job in cleaning up after work was performed. They asked me to do a final walk through to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work before collecting payment from me. Brandford Restoration is amazing. We had a water pipe break in our kitchen which ended up damaging a great deal of the downstairs of our home. We had to replace not only our wood floors but our cabinets, a ton of drywall, and even some doors. We called Brandford based on a recommendation of a friend and I am so glad we did. They arrived same day to take a look at everything and put a plan in place to dry things out and put my home back together. They brought in all the necessary equipment to dry everything and also put plastic up to block off the areas of my home that were not damaged to ensure they remained that way. After it was dry they began putting everything back together. They put in new flooring, all new cabinets, countertops, new doors, new drywall, all the paint, etc. AND since we already had them there we decided to do a few things that we had been wanting to do anyway including crown molding and new baseboards. They were very communicative throughout the entire process and did everything within a reasonable timeline. Whenever a curve ball presented itself (as always happens with construction) they were on top of it and approached it with an attitude of "there are no problems only solutions."
